SImilar to Chipotle in style and price. Slightly less expensive. The menu does not do the food justice at all. Your food is made to order with several different options ranging from beans and cheeses, to salsas, quesos, veggies and a nice variety of differently flavored meats and more. You can pick corn or flour tortillas, hard or soft or toss it all in a taco bowl and eat it like a salad. I was so impressed on my first visit that I returned the following day. El Queso has now become at least a two day per week lunch affair. Try it out, you wont regret it.

Nope. But we got a good one. Excellent food at great prices. Fresh tasting and fast. Indoor and outdoor seating. No frills but clean and yummy despite the less-than-intuitive [huh?] menu. Split the black bean quesadilla with my [vegetarian] wife. My son got tacos which were better than most Mexican restaurants here and in Mexico. And saved some pesos. Go El Queso!

I went there to try something diferent. Not coming back. You can not order brown rice if you do not get the salmon. So I ordered the salmon and it was not good, good thing I ordered also a quesadilla. I do not think I am coming back unless is for the quesadilla

Tried it for the first time today with my co-worker and it was so good..well I had the chicken quesadillas and they were 100% excellent! The chipotle sauce is wonderful and the serving size is good for a quick lunch! I would def recommend this place!

This is one of the best places to eat that I have ever been to. The servers are usually helpful, and the food may seem comparable to Chipotle or Qdoba, but it is miles better. After I leave Plano, this will be the thing I miss the most.

Better quality than qdoba and chipotle. When you ask for a little extra meat they give you 5-6 more pieces unlike chipotle where the employees will sit there and argue with you while theres a rush. Huge variety and selection.

I really really love El queso. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Front staff are very nice. The food is phenomenal. Fresh and delicious, and very addicting. You wont be disappointed.

I ordered a burrito bowl and the pinto beans had absolutely no flavor and the rice was bland as well. The only thing that had any flavor was the meat but the dish was very bland, over all.
