My wife and I have been here several times and enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and food this visit however was the most disappointing... the service was nowhere near up to even acceptable... the food was cold and mediocre at best I hate to give any restaurant 1 star, however after my wife and I visit today, the British Lion deserves less than one star especially the absent and not concerning wait staff!

This is nice pub style bar with plenty of seating both upstairs and down. The aesthetics of this establishment cater more towards a soccer favoring crowd. They have standard pub food, though it is nothing out of the ordinary. The drink selection is decent, though there was a drink that a friend of mine could not find here. Over all, the staff is pleasant and the tables are clean.

This bar is one of my favorite spots in the North Dallas area! From the decor, staff, food, beer and spirits everything is on point! They have great selection of beers on draft that are always changing which is nice to keep up with the craft trend. They also have an excellent selection of Whiskeys!

Nice. Pub ambiance with good selection of beers and pub food. Live music on certain days and an outside section too.. a cigarette vending machine on premises and very friendly wait staff. Been there twice already and will surely go again.

This is just a place for known drinkers, we sit at the bar and the bartender really didnt care felt like we were an inconvenience. Gave them 2 stars because they have a good selection of beers and the food was ok

Big fan of the steak and ale pie and some cold Carlsberg lager to go with it. I love the music, often playing a great selection of Britpop / Indie faves like The Stone Roses, Pulp and James. GO!

Food here is GREAT!! I was in town for 3 nights and ate here 2 of them. Bangers & Mash and Shepherds Pie made in house and served with a side of awesome!

Staff is friendly. Menu is eclectic. Ive tried about 1/2 the menu and it rarely disappoints. Love the buffalo chicken sandwich.
