One of my favorite restaurants. The staff is friendly, and the food is great. The pizza is thick but not too thick and has a great flavor. They also offer sandwiches that are so thick they barely fit into your mouth. They also offer traditional meals like lasagne, ravioli as well as salads and other items. The deserts are really good too. In the winter, they offer prime rib once in awhile. They also never seem to close, so its become sort of a family tradition to go here during winter storms. Most of the local plow truck workers eat here, and since its on a main road, the area is usually cleared of snow pretty quickly. The only downside is that during busy times, like after work on a Friday night, it can be very busy, with a wait, but the line moves pretty fast, so its usually no more than 20 minutes.

John and Art Tsombanos catered my wedding two years ago and they are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Of course, its also a plus that they make some of the best Greek style pizza ever. Nothing trendy or ostentatious, just absolutely delicious! One favorite of ours is the artichoke basil pizza, but even a simple cheese pizza is a major treat! Also, they have outdoor dining when the weather permits, which is wonderful, given their location in the heart of Old Wethersfield. If you are booking the Webb Barn for a wedding, have John and Art cater it. They will not disappoint!

Always an excellent experience at Village Pizza! The servers are all very nice, and the owners John and Art are Wethersfield Legends! You really cant go wrong here, get a pizza or grinder and itll always be consistently good. Their Meatball Grinder in particular blows everyone elses in town out of the water! I also like how they put the pepperoni under the cheese, very different from how other places do it, but its a cool village pizza touch! Everyone I bring here loves it here too!

I grew up on Village Pizza and since Ive moved away from the Wethersfield area Ive found that all other Greek pizzas just dont compare to Village. It can get extremely busy and loud at times if you want to eat there (which is a testament to how good the pizza is, if you ask me) but if you go at off-peak times its a great place to eat and the pizza is absolutely delicious. I recommend the Pepperoni and Onion or Chicken and Peppers pizza, but theyre all excellent to be honest.

Wethersfield resident for three years now and have been here a few times now. As a fan of thin crust pies, I just cant get into the thick crust square trays that are the bread and butter of this place. Not horrible mind you, but want to counterbalance the glowing reviews. Dont want you to leave disappointed. Good location, service, and pizza joint vibe.

Been eating here since they opened and were in the.store 2 doors down. Art and John always there to greet , wait staff friendly. Usually a line around dinner time, but in my opinion best pizza around . How else do you stay in business this long.

You may wait for a bit but this is a pizza that is worth it. Pizza places dont usually stand out in my mind like Village Pizza does and I have only eaten here once. The downtown Wethersfield area is very neat too.

Cant wait for weekly pizza night here with my family. The entire staff is great, and the pizza is mouthwatering. Not trying to be fancy, just a great family restaurant in a tight knit community. Feels like home.
