The Anchor is one of my favorite "hidden gems" in upstate NY. Being a beer nerd, I look forward to getting the curated list of beers. From one-off rare beers, to the secret ones stashed downstairs being aged from the previous year. Send a request vie Facebook and you may be surprised to see it featured the next week. The staff is super attentive, smart and passionate about what they do. If youre in the neighborhood, and want a amazing burger, some beer and some entertainment, this is the place to go.

Very interesting place. Was pretty quiet when we went for lunch on a Sunday, but it had unique eats. Some of the best sweet potato fries Ive ever had. Thee bun was a little dry, but better than store-bought. Id eat here again if I was in the area.

Great burger place with lots of character. The burger menu ranges from the classic to the somewhat silly (Elvis Burger with pb&j). The staff is friendly, kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Aside from the terrific (rotating) selection of draughts, the food is great! The tater tots are suprisingly delicious. Also the bathrooms are nice and clean which is worth a lot for a bar.
