This diner is exactly what this area needed. Its not the largest diner Ive been to but it does have the largest heart. You can taste the love that goes into each dish that leaves the kitchen. When someone loves and has pride in what they do you can tell. Its like every dish comes out and hugs you and says, "Hey, I love you. Now get down to business and eat!". Yes, Im saying the food is good (especially the breakfast....ohh...the pancakes....mmmmm). From basic Jersey style diner food to exquisite dishes that belong in a five star restaurant, they have it all. The staff is always smiling and eager to please and the owners are just as busy keeping things going. Its nice to see that everyone is putting in the effort to make this place a great place. If you havent been here yet, try it out, Im sure youll like it. If you have been here already, then what I just said isnt news to you, you already know how great this place is. My wife and I are here almost every day so maybe Ill see you there! Tellem Stanford sent you. Lol.

Went there about a month ago. The waitress asked my husband what he wanted to drink and totally ignored me... She assumed we both wanted the same beverage. When we ordered the waitress forgot my husbands home fries that came with his meal as well as his side of pork roll. She didnt come ask us once if we were OK. She even put a dirty cup on our table and left it when taking my plate away. I was super excited that there was a diner close to us but after my experience there and the food being so so I rather drive to Somerset diner and pay extra for their excellent service plus good food. I will not return or recommend this place to anyone.

Our experience was interesting to say the least. The food and service was good. When I asked the manager about a military discount he said only if I was in uniform but had to ask someone to make sure. I watched him as he walked around and didnt speak with anyone. Came back to our table and said that they only give discounts to police officers not the military. I find this very disappointing and disturbing. Police officers and not the military are you kidding me??!! Why not both. Plus he lied about going to ask someone. I will not be going back!!

I have visited this diner several times. The food is very good. My favorite so far is the hot open turkey sandwich. The turkey is fresh, the gravy is hot, and the portion is large. The wait staff is friendly, and the host always greets us coming in and thanks us when we leave. Its nearby and is a great place to visit with friends. I highly recommend the Franklin Park Diner.

Fantastic diner with proper food. I had the marinated chicken, along with home fries and onion rings. All were just spot on, with an incredibly tender chicken. Also tried the pancakes, which were also excellent. The place is not large, and feels homely. Service was very friendly and efficient. The menu is huge so you will definitely find something for everyone.

The service is very nice and the atmosphere is great as well.The prices are great and I love the pancakes and the french fries. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it taste like elementary cafeteria food. The "steak" in my sandwich was grey and flat and very bland. My grandmother ordered a breakfast pancake and bacon and the bacon broke her tooth.

I tried this diner and was surprised at how good everything was. For dinner I had chicken parm and it was huge. The portion size was enough to feed a small army. I had to take half of it home. It was really good. Ill be coming back to try something else soon.

Enjoyed my brunch here. Aside from the great all-american food, service is tops. Our waitress was very friendly, funny and efficient. Would come back here often if I have the chance if only for this. Happy place.

MOLD on my toast!!!! they replaced it with uncooked toast twice and then tried to charge me for it. The craziest part is the owner is the cook and that is who served us the mold!
