Joes Nachos: 5 out of 5 burps!: Yes, yes a thousand times yes! If I could bath in nachos, these would be the ones worthy of an Aaron Nacho bath. Its got everything I like and they taste like happiness. When I go to sleep tonight, these nachos will be there with me, guiding me through the land of pleasure that one cant even imagine unless they are with me. Do you want to join me on this trip? Do you? Come along with me and my nachos. Its ok. Theres no shame in admitting your true feelings.

The small mom and pop place is a great place for business lunches. The owner and staff are very attentive and quick. I consider them the best in what they do because they are consistent. The food always taste the same, the platters always look the same. The beans are delicious. I order the enchiladas de mole. Every vendor and customer I have invited here has become a repeat customer to Casa Navarro. Most of all, the ladies are hard workers and a joy to see.

I was there for like 5 min and. Lady on the registered she just looked at me. And. Told me just to sit down at first booth at the entrance i sugestted her that it was too close to door and she said thats the only where i could sit Since i was by myself. I asked her if i could sit on the other room and she said no. I just turned around and left. I reslly enjoy the food there but because of this type of arrogant treatmeant i will never go back there

We decided on this place based on the glowing reviews, and were even more excited after reading the backstory on the menu... However, after seeing multiple live and dead cockroaches in the bathroom and one scurry across the floor near our table, we immediately got the check and left.... I dont even remember how the food tasted because I got so sick at the thought of what the kitchen looked like. Hopefully they will make some changes....

My first time going and already cant wait to be back. The beans are incredible I need the recipe for myself. The staff was polite and attentive. After we ordered, our food came quicker than we could order it. Food was delicious, I usually dont like onions but didnt even notice them in my enchiladas. Everything was great and next time I will have to get that bean recipe.

This was the first time in here, and we were very disappointed. We were given an attitude upon arrival trying to find a table. After receiving our teas, we proceeded to wait for 20 minutes and were never even given a menu. We tried to get the attention of one of the servers, but were ignored. We finally left after about 25 minutes. It was a complete letdown.

My wife and I have been enjoying this Mexican food for over 30 years when they were originally El Taxco on St. Paul Street near downtown Dallas. Weve eaten there, had them cater and gone to other functions where they catered. Best Mexican food for the price anywhere in Dallas and probably Texas! In fact were leaving to go there for lunch now. Adios!

My server took my order, brought my food and never came back. I had to wave her over to get a side of onions. She was eating when I finished my meal and never once looked my way. I went to the cash register and another server asked what I had and I paid and left. My meal arrived before 3 p.m., but they charged me the dinner price.

Solid Mexican food joint in the area. Been coming since 1994 when they first opened and was only half the size and BYOB. It honestly hasnt changed much over the years. Its a great hole-in-the-wall with the same peeps waiting on me since I was a teenager! If you live or work close by you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Been going for years, in fact I would consider myself a regular. Last few times I have been in, the service is horrible. I never get a refill on my coffee. I literally have to get up from my table to find someone. I may take a break from going, hopefully service will improve when and if I return.

Smiling, attentive staff who keeps up with your needs before you know you have them. Good atmosphere without being too quiet or too loud. The food is so far from that of a chain restaurant, its good, fresh and piping hot. It comes out quickly and exactly as ordered. Great experience!

Great Tex-Mex; wonderful veggie fajitas (best I have found in N. Dallas. Staff treats you like family even on 1st visit In the 60s through the 80s the Navarros restaurant was El Taxco (downtown). One taste of Casa Navarros salsa and youll know that you can go home again!

The staff treats you like family. They had a classical guitarist playing during dinner. The food is just what I like, authentic Tex-mex, hot, fresh, and delicious! The hot sauce is always made fresh and so there can be a variety of spice level. Love this place!

These are really 2 star enchiladas, even El Fenix tastes better than the this place. The cheese is soft and has no presence its supposed to be chewy. Alot of people come here though it has quite the history here in Dallas too bad the food didnt survive with it.

Great mom and pop shop. Friendly service, inexpensive and delicious food. They can make anything, and it is as good as I came to expect living on the Mexican border for years. So much better than the usual endless chains in Dallas!

The food is always good plus even though we moved and are no longer able to eat there as much as we want, the wait staff stills remembers us and our order. This means that there is not a lot of turn over

The staff here is awesome and the food is fantastic. There is almost NO waiting time, even when theyre at their busiest. One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants youll find in the area.

I dont usually like beans, but I could not get enough of theirs. Definitely a cute little hole in the wall type of place, but filled with very kind staff and some incredible mole sauce.

Menu never changes, food order can be outstanding on one visit and the same order on another visit is really bad. Everyone seems just tired of being there especially the owner.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant great food great location. But there seems to be a grumpy lady in the front when youre entering to be seated. I think she needs a hug. Great menu

The beans they bring you before the meal are really good, dont pass them over. And you should get the tampiquenea dish - definitely the best thing here and very delicious

This place is wonderful and the family is so nice. It took my wife an I moving to East Dallas to really appreciate what we had in a local Mexican restaurant.
