When the Plano location opened very close to my residence, I was looking to add an Italian restaurant to my circle of favorites and this one has met the need. The Chicken Piccata that was my first option was a delight, much better than expected and, after repeated orders, a consistent highlight. It includes broccolini, which was my first exposure to this now favored vegetable. The "fingerling" potatoes are also superb; my 10-yr-old granddaughter always asks for extras (but also opts out of the broccolini). The Orecchiette is also very tasty and the portion size is ideal for me - it might seem small to some accustomed to oversized U.S. offerings. The housemade sausage has nice spice. A tart lemonade is a hit with all of us. The wine list is quite good but starts a bit higher than Id expected for some of the options. I have found a number of quite good surprises in the $9-10/glass reds and the list is consistently updated. The staff have been more exceptionally welcoming and have indulged my grandkids when I brought them with me. (The fettuccine alfredo they provided my grandson was off-menu and very, very good. He wound up with sauce-face from getting too eager in his eating.) I try to visit once a week which for me is a hearty endorsement.

Good food and drinks but service wasnt great. My wife is a vegetarian was served pasta with meat despite us confirming with the sever. We complained and got another entree. They wanted to charge us for the meat entree... We asked for it to be removed from the check and the server went back to the manager to get it removed (note manager never came to apologize or anything- was just sitting at the bar). Not the kind of service we have become used to here in Plano. Maybe this was an anamoly and next time will be better. We are willing to give this place another shot sometime in the future.

Food was over priced for sub par at best. I ordered the Fetticini Di Mare. I asked if it was possible to substitute linguine, and was told they dont have linguine. No big deal. However, my dish came out and not only was it not even Fetticini, BUT egg noodle! Gross. Never in my life have I been served egg noodle at an Italian restaurant, nor seen it on an Italian menu. To boot, my husbands dinner was served with a side if linguine.... you know, the same linguine they claimed not to even have in house. Awful. Will never go back. I couldve gotten better "Italian" food at Olive Garden.

Worst bartender experience. Rude. You can tell he didnt want to serve a group of 4 at the bar. Didnt acknowledge us at all. Came in this evening for drinks and was treated subpar. As soon as we sat he spoke negative words. Never offered a drink. We completely ruined his night by sitting to cater to his bar. Completely excusable. Maybe because we were the only people of color in the resturant but I will never be back and Im saddened by pur experience. Should not be acceptable gor staff to treat guest like they dont belong

As you walk in it looks like a nice upscale restaurant. We have one vegetarian in our group and asked the waitress for a recommendation. When the plate came it was boiled spaghetti and alfresco sauce on the side ($18). My chicken plate tasted like boiled chicken breast. All the plates were overly priced and very small portions. The waitress was not friendly at all, and kind of rude. Will definitely not be returning to this location again. Save you money, and go to Olive Garden where you can get better food.

When you enter it feels like an upscale restaurant, everyone smiles at you, nice clean place. It went down from there. Pasta was way undercook, server wasnt extremely friendly. I admit the managers do walk around and do ask how everything is going. They brought me a new pasta, even though it wasnt much better. The pasta stuck together and was just a little less undercooked. For the price I would expect better quality.

I had the garlic flatbread, chicken picatta, and tiramisu. Everything was excellent! Delicious food, beautifully prepared and presented. The service was great, with both the waiter and the manager very attentive, checking on us without being invasive. Also, I had the Sazerac, which may be my favorite cocktail anywhere. Delicious, warm, and soothing. I love it. Princi Italia is fantastic.

Ive been there three times and every time Ive been the staff has been very nice and helpful with explaining the menu. For a "fancier" restaurant I personally dont feel overcharged knowing full well that other places Ive been for the same amount of food and drink has cost me more. Do yourself a favor and get the pork shank

Service on a Sunday evening was outstanding. Restaurant cozy and romantic. Wedding soup outstanding. Loved the take on the Tiramisu. The cocktail Winter in Manhattan was strong, possibly too strong, which is tough for me to say. Im not sure Ill get the chicken lasagna again, Im more of a traditionalist.

Three generations of our family went here to celebrate the 50th birthday of our son. All the food was wonderful and my filet was the best Ive had in a very long time. Service was great and our celebration was very enjoyable. It was busy time but that was not a problem. I intend to return again.

Amazing food, great ambience whether by the fountain outside or inside the restaurant, and impeccable service. This is also one of the few places you can go where you can visit with your friends and talk in a relaxed atmosphere. It has become our new local Italian restaurant in Plano.

Charged me 15 bucks for fettuccini alfredo another 5 bucks to add chicken had virtually no alfredo sauce in it so it tasted like noodles in olive oil smh wat a waste of 20 bucks Tried to charge me 8 bucks for a side saladon a to go order which i had to decline

It was reply good food. Service could have been faster but very good service. Kids pasta was very good. I ordered a chicken dish and it was very good. My wife had a fig pizza, was pretty awesome. Wine was not bad either. Very good ambience. Nice trendy place.

The ambiance is very pleasant, the food is exquisite and the wait staff is very attentive. I like that it has so much light and very open, which makes for a great experience, versus other restaurants that you feel crowded in.
