I had the unfortunate opportunity to have dinner here once at this location. I ABSOLUTELY love Hibachi food and was really looking forward to having dinner here especially since so many people rave about it. I decided to host a holiday dinner here for an event and the company I work for. We arrived to the location with a group of 8 ladies. Dinner was going okay until it took us about 20 minutes to get our drinks. In addition, half the night we couldnt find our server and we constantly had to ask the other servers to bring us certain things to the table (napkins, water, a drink). This isnt really the part that bothers me though. I can understand that the place was busy and slammed. When we were first seated I made a notice that a 17% gratuity is added to the bill on parties of 11 or more. I was a bit confused because at the end of the night I realized there was a 17% gratuity added to our bill but our party was nowhere near 11 people. I then asked a server who wasnt our server to point me in the direction of a manager and she specifically said "wait because im busy and have to drop these drinks off at a table". I was appalled but waited until I was in contact with a manager. When the manager came over I simply asked what the gratuity policy was. She said "oh, its something we are doing for the holidays. We just havent gotten around to changing the menus yet..." and she walked away. I was bringing up the issue with the tip because we clearly were having bad service as a table. The manager failed to ask us if our night went okay or not. She just simply seemed uninterested. I now understood why the staff also seemed so easily not bothered by the chaos going on around them. I would also like to make note of a couple things. I had dinner here on the 6th of January of 2014. This is well over the holiday season and if the menus were supposed to be changed then it seems that Edos must have missed the mark. In addition, if they never got around to changing the policy on the menus then when our party booked the reservation, someone should have made this clear to us prior to us being seated or confirmed this factor over the phone. I may sound like all I want to do is complain but I have my reasons. I myself am a waitress at a local bar near the area. And never in my 4 years of being involved in the food service industry have I been seen the treatment that went on here today. The entire night we had dirty napkins, plates, cups laying around our table. It got so bad that we had to start laying plates on the floor around us just so we could make some space for the table. I really normally dont ever like to leave bad reviews but I was appalled as to how we were treated. Especially by management. I never want to step foot in this establishment ever again. Its unfortunate because the food was actually decent but because of the terrible service I wouldnt bother.

I love going here. I hadnt gone in many years. Food is always really good and you get a lot for your money. I have to say. Im not too sure about the filet mignon actually being filet mignon. It tastes and looks more like a thick cut off sirloin. Id really hate to think that theyre serving one cut off meat and calling it another. You get a nice show with comedic chefs and theres also a waitress that places your order. That day the waitress wasnt friendly at all. There were 10 of us there for my sisters birthday. She never cracked a smile and seemed like she didnt want to be there. Ive been before several times and never had a problem though. Another thing to keep in mind is that be prepared to wait some even when you make a reservation because youre actually waiting for others to decide to leave. Everything is brought out really quickly and cooked quickly too , but people like to relax and chat so sometimes that means you have to wait

This is a typical Hibachi restaurant with a slightly higher standard all around. I had dinner with my family for a special occasion on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Every table was busy and it was very loud, but energetic. The chefs are very good and do the whole teppanyaki act which is always fun to see. Wait staff is extra nice as well which helps the mood. All the food was well prepared and fresh enough. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The only downside is the price, about $30 a person but this is not out of the normal. Also, special occasions are celebrated with all the chefs leaving their station to sing a song. Weird but nice in a way. I recommend getting your picture taken, they print it out on a nice cardstock!

My husband and I have been going to EDOs for about 35 years. We went there when we were dating, after we got married, and still go there all the way from Warwick, NY. Thats how good the food there is. Grab a bottle of their salad dress which they sell to the public because it is the best ginger dressing you will ever taste. They have always been consistent and you will definitely enjoy every minute of being there. Much kudos for EDOs!!!!!!

Ive had better hibachi experiences. Establishment was a bit dingy. The staff rushed our group of 10 from the moment we walked in. Non stop every 5 minutes clearing food and drinks we didnt even get to finish. We were in and out within 45 minutes. The cook was amazing hence the two stars. He was very funny and entertaining. Unfortunately the service from the waiters could have been a lot better.

I took my wife and kids to this restaurant, I was shocked to see the ammount of people. But you know what they say allot of people means good and great stuff. I was pleased and so will you, I would give it 5 stars if they served Sushi. So earn that 5 star already, I suggest to bring 8 people to have a habachi table for the whole family. It was fun...

Went here to celebrate my daughters 15th Birthday. We made a reservation glad we did. Very busy place. The chef was awesome and food delicious. EVERYONE had a doggy bag!! Felt a little rushed tho, due to high number of people without reservations. So I strongly recommend them on Weekends. Not a major expense either. We really enjoyed it!!
