The good, bad and ugly of Sigree.... First the good and average: Tava veggies were good, but rest of the food was just average - some of it below average. Bad: Service was really bad. We first ordered spicy shrimps. 15 min later we were informed that it wasnt available. We placed an order for tandoori chicken then. They forgot to make it. When we asked for it 30 min later, we were told that it was too late to get it!!!! No apologies, no effort made to correct the situation. Ugly: Our curries arrived without the bread (naan). For next 30 minutes we waited, waited and waited some more for naan to arrive. 3 tables around us got the bread, with kids at our table just looking all around not to get any acknowledgement if we are going to get anytime sooner. 3 different servers came and checked on us, but after repeated reminders there was no action. When third person came along to check on asking if everything was ok, the obvious response was no, its not ok. And then the server snapped at one of us saying that we dont have to yell - when not even the next table could hear us say anything. Very rude and a lot of attitude from the staff. All in all, average food, horrible service and rude staff. Would never visit this place nor would recommend this to anyone else. If you are in mood for Indian food, there are many better places all around Plano and Frisco. Avoid this place at all costs!!

This review is based on 3 visits we made to this place. We started at 3 stars and then dropped to 1 star by the 2nd visit. Gist of the ok to bad experience - by the 2nd visit unclean floors (always strewn with food), service is haphazard (table is unattended for long periods of time), chicken being uncooked on all 3 visits (one can smell the raw chicken) became repeat performance and topping it off was a bout of mild food poisoning. Our 3rd visit was the Buffet on Sunday, we went in at 130 pm (buffet is served from 12 to 3), kind of midway point. Most containers were empty. Took 3 reminders and 30 minutes to get the chicken appetizers refilled. The taste was awful for most dishes, this is a baseline against most of the popular Indian restaurants in Plano, Allen and Frisco. The most atrocious thing is the pricing $14 for buffet of this quality and spread. Need to do better, way better to retain customers.

The food here is good, everything ive had, but I have to say I disliked it because they dont have their pricing on the BAR part down. No prices listed on the menu, the liquor is club price levels at $7.50 per shot. That is easily a time and a half usual market prices, but god forbid you order a double of anything, because it is just DOUBLE THE PRICE. These people scammed me, and the poor guy who had to watch my friend and I realize we had our heads torn off could only nervously laugh and say its just the way the computer does it. SCAM, 120 dollars for two people is unheard of, our bartender bumped it down to 90 so that he could get a tip on it and I obliged. Beer was 3.50 for American corn beer so thats on point.

This place is a big looser on my charts. The service here is pathetic -- and if there was a more worst word, I would use that. Once you have placed your order and the girl has delivered it -- no one cares -- I repeat NO ONE CARES if you need anything else. Even for paying your bill you would have to wait a lot of time. The food quality is 4 on 10, so you can imagine what you are in for next time you decide to go here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, till they improve their quality of service and food (at least they can smile when a guest enters. I understand everyone is doing work there, but giving a polite smile does not hurt. Also asking a guest if they want something else also does not hurt).

For a 10 o clock close, they closed the kitchen at 9:20. In fact they are not sure whether its open or not. They had a buffet on Tuesday and one guy said Ala Carte is also served. After few mins he came and said kitchen is closed. And then we came out at 9 25 and called to order the same items as To-Go and he almost took the order and told one min and then when I said how the guy in the entrance told me kitchen is closed, this guy started saying kitchen is closed cos staffs are tired and working from morning. Its a buffet on Tuesday and staffs are tired? And 40 mins before close I dont expect that answer. Crap it is

Best Indian Restaurant in the DFW Metroplex!! We drove from Grapevine to Frisco just to come eat here! After eating at Indian Restaurants in Irving, Carrollton and Dallas and being left disappointed time after time, we can honestly say that Sigree is making their food right!! They serve fresh dishes on the buffet and make Roti and Naan for you as you order it, (not just sitting on the buffet table). The taste is amazing! The atmosphere is peaceful, the decorations clean and modern, and everyone is happy to be here!! Quit trying to find a good Indian Restaurant!! Its Friscos Hidden Secret!!! You wont be disappointed!

I have been a regular customer of Sigree Grill - we at least eat or pick up food at Sigree for 3-4 times a month. I can not recommend any other place but Sigree in town for Indian/North Indian Food - hands down! Sigree has a neck for quality & rich taste in all their food. I specifically like their Malai Kofta, Kashmiri Dum Aloo & most of their Sizzlers! Customer Service is decent & on par with other restaurants. Their long list of buffet items (starting from appetizers to entries to dessert) are worth their money! I highly recommend Sigree any day, when you like to have nice Indian meal:)

1. Food is great (best Ive had in Texas) Only one restaurant matches this one (in the US) and its in Memphis, TN 2. Great catering. Had food catered for sons birthday and it was on time and plenty of quantity. Same great taste. We drive about 45 minutes to have this food and order ToGo when we leave. Dishes my wife and I like: - Baingan Bharta - Malai Kofta - Chicken Makhani - Chicken Tika PS. We never order the buffet at any Indian restaurant because its taste isnt the same. This place comes very close but we still order from the menu when we come.

The quality of food and service has deteriorated to a disappointing level. Originally, Sigree was one of the few restaurants to differentiate itself with the punjabi/north indian touch to the food but it has fallen to same level as other local Indian restaurants. The buffet food was stone cold and taste/flavors are down right yuck. The idlis were rock hard assuming they were sitting on the counter for long which is some what acceptable since its a buffet. When requested for fresh idlis, they were out and we were offered french fries in its place. Really? Fries??

We went at 6 PM on a Sunday and there was no one in the resturant. It was about 90 degrees or higher and we immediately told the lady and she said she would change it. Three of us ordered beers and two came out nice and cold and one was room temperature. We ordered apps and drank the warm beer. When the apps arrived the restaurant was still as hot if not hotter. We ate the apps and left. The food wasnt bad but the service was horrible. I will never go back to this place again and thats if it remains open much longer.
