I ordered food for pickup yesterday, 08/08/13, and it was absolutely disgusting and horrible. First, I ordered bahari kebab ($9.99), seekh kebab ($7.99), grilled chops ($17.99), nehari ($8.99), shrimp masala ($12.99), dal fry ($6.99), and 3 extra naan ($3.45), which totals to $74.03 w/tax; I got charged $84.29. I wouldnt say this was an oversight, but Im more inclined to believe they cheated me (and probably other) takeout orders in the Eid rush yesterday. The food was so gross and a complete waste of money, nothing taste like it should have, everything was extremely salty, and so poorly prepared. The behari kebab literally taste like raw and rotten meat, I couldnt even swallow the first bite. The shrimp masala looked like garbage and wasnt even a half cup total. The dal fry was the most watery "dal fry" Ive ever seen. The nehari lacked all of the flavors that make nehari nehari and almost no one wanted to touch the questionable meat it contained. Furthermore, nearly all of the dishes that were liquid had spilled out in to the carry out bags they were in because their PAPER lids soaked through. I dont know who thought it was a good idea to pack up the food like that, but with food so terrible, Im not surprised. Overpriced nasty food naturally means cheap flimsy containers according to this poor excuse for a restaurant. I may seem upset about it today, but this was after I calmly called the store owner Saleem this afternoon. Let me preface this by saying my extended family has known Saleem for about 12 years, they have had weddings, walimas, brunches, and Eids in the event hall and main restaurant before. I never thought the food was anything special or different from other places in the past, but last nights food set an all time low. Now back to the story, I called Saleem who first listened to my complaint and then proceeded to brush me off by saying, "Did you see the crowd" of people eating buffet? As if it were some sort of excuse. I then said, I dont think you served the expensive grilled lamb chops, shrimps, and behari kebab I ordered to buffet eaters so why would that affect the quality of those dishes? I then heard the phone click, he had hung up on me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and immediately called back two more times and he ignored my phone calls. As a last effort, I wanted to let the employee working there today know that I was over charged and he was very nice about it. I then asked him to please hand the phone to Saleems wife, who was the one with the mathematical skills last night on the register, which he did and again I heard the phone click. The owners are completely rude and unprofessional and if they can treat people like me who they are familiar with for many years like this, I cant imagine how they would treat a new customer. People who are not familiar with Indo-Paki cuisine or those of you who are and want excellent food, please do not come here because you will regret it. I am baffled as to how this place even has semi-decent reviews, they must ask friends/force employees to post fake reviews for them. I for one will never buy food from here again because you might as well throw your money in the trash where their food belongs.

My wife and I enjoy Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Our first visit to this restaurant, unfortunately, will be our last. Knowing that we were exploring a new restaurant we ordered something "safe" off the menu--a common dish at every restaurant of this type that we have visited. The meal consisted of goat, lightly spiced along with a fresh veggie plate and rice. That evening, I had a bout of stomach illness. My original thought was that it was either food or a suspiciously coincidental stomach bug until we were able to go to the doctor (I could not keep down fluids and was graying out from dehydration). He confirmed food poisoning and we contacted the restaurant. Food poisoning happens--it is an unfortunate reality and often has nothing to do with the business selling the food itself (issues up the supply chain, etc.). However, in this case, the immediate response of the restaurant owners was that food poisoning was not possible and that we should have a nice day... Click. We simply had sought to help the restaurant be aware of a potential problem and had been rebuffed. We will not return and given their response (quite different from one previous situation our family had experienced at an excellent local Chinese restaurant who went out of their way to confirm the issue and helped a great number of potential diners as a result), recommend the restaurant to no one.

Perhaps worst dining experience ever. My 84-year old mom and I were looking for a place to eat. It was Saturday just after lunch hour, but many places in the shopping center were packed. Perhaps that should have been the first clue as when we went in, there were only two other tables occupied. My mom seemed hungry, so we decided to eat there. She likes meat, so I got the Bihari Kabobs for her. They are supposed to be marinated beef strips. When she got it, the taste was just not right for her. Even for me, there was something extremely unappetizing about it. Also, the texture of the meat was strange. Usually when ordering beef, you expect some type of meat texture, but it was almost like the meat was spoiled or something. Anyway, when we mentioned that she really didnt like it, their response was basically tough luck, we can order something else from the menu. Obviously we felt we already spent enough. I traded dishes with her, but I couldnt even eat the whole thing. This was the biggest waste of $40 I can recall. (We had 2 dishes + 2 naans.)

I just now came after the renovation for the first time and Oh my god. This place needs to have all 5 stars. The decor and ambience is amazing which doesnt even matter that much to others because the food quality and quantity is enough to pull everyone in. Whether its desis, Whites and even Koreans! (They are all here right now) (Im not color blind #SorryNotSorry) The chai is exactly like the pathan ki chai I drank on the streets of karachi last month ( without the buzzing of the flies of course) If this place was close to where I live I would have to invest in 56 different gym memberships because I could come here everyday! Edit: I have a sugar rush from the awesome SHAHI TUKRA (I only had 6 pieces) which is why I forgot to mention how Amazing and kind the staff is. If I wanted a drink refil I had 4 servers carrying it to me. Felt like a local Arab king or something. The brunch buffet lasts till 3 pm and has eggs, nihari, bbq, and like 7 other main courses. EAT HERE. And then go for a 2 hour run okay? Happy munching.

I decided to go to this place for lunch since a friend recommended it. Ill tell you now that I will never listen to his suggestions ever again because I was highly disappointed when I ate at BBQ Tonite. I went on Saturday, October 12th for the lunch buffet which cost $14. I grabbed a plate and went through the line sampling each item before I went back for seconds. Out of all the buffets this was the only place I didnt bother to go back for a second plate. The meat items were so saturated in oil and tasteless! The only decent item on the menu was the nann bread. I walked away from the restaurant with an upset stomach which ruined my entire day. On top of the terrible food, the manager at the front desk had a staring problem. She seemed to glare at all the tables CONSTANTLY just to see how much food people were eating. Verdict: Overpriced at $14 a person. Terrible food. Consider yourself warned!
