Let me start by saying, I was really disappointed. When first walking in the doors are foggy and extremely dirty with oil and such. Continuing on, when I walked in there was no one to greet us and everyone working in there looked depressed and didnt feel like working there. After eventually being attended to, we finally got a table. Before even actual seating us, the so-called "hostess" blocked the table and my family and I couldnt be seated. Having experience in the restaurant industry, you should let the people be seated and then worry about the menus and pouring water. No one there was smiling, might I add. After getting seated, we all looked at the menu, but no waiter came by to claim our table. After 20 mins of waiting for a waiter, I ended up waving down a waiter. I think I waved down a manager, but he was so rude to us and gave us attitude because of a language barrier my cousin had. The waiter wasnt smiling and he stood in a defensive position while we tried to order. After we placed the order it took all of 35 mins for the food to come out (the restaurant wasnt crowded at all). After we got the food, they ended up messing up the order and the manager roasted the person who brought out the food right in the middle of the restaurant (in front of all the customers), which is completely inappropriate and unprofessional for any establishment. The food was mediocre, like in other reviews, the food was just extremely salty. The bathrooms were gross. I am only giving the a 1 star rating and Im not even sure it deserves even that.

The food was really good! And the portion size was just right. I had the goat curry and it wasnt too spicy for my wimpy American taste buds. However, I agree with the other reviewers that the customer service here is not up to U.S. standards. For example, after my waitress brought me my food, I never saw her again. Like, in the entire restaurant. And I was the only customer IN the restaurant. To get water, I had to flag down the guy who was making me lift my feet so he could vacuum under my table (which was also pretty annoying). And he never said a word or smiled, just shut off the vacuum and grabbed a pitcher to set on my table, then continued on his way. Im not saying this kind of service is a bad thing! This could be the cultural norm in India, I have no idea. Im just saying that most Americans are going to be very reluctant to tip for it.

I love this place. I frequent this place mostly on Fridays for lunch. They serve an authentic Indian buffet with veg/non-veg options choose from. I usually enjoy non-veg entrees and chicken/goat biryani on my friday hog fest. After Bawarchi, this place serves a very authentic and delicious biryani in Dallas. I do try to avoid tandoori chicken as I have noticed it has added edible color but it tastes dope. The restaurant is very clean and the staff here is very welcoming. The food is cooked fresh and very healthy. The place is big enough to accommodate around 70 people at a time and you can arrange team lunch by notifying the manager in advance. The restaurant is very popular among residents of Plano and I high recommend of this place.

Bad bad bad service. The server forgot and ignored us for 45 mins. When we reminded him about the order, he went and disappeared for another 15 mins and got the Entree first, which we sent back. Another 10 mins for appetizer to arrive. Then another long wait and 2 reminders to bring the main mean and guess what, only on entree. Reminder again for the second entree and 15 min later the final good arrives. The server kept apologizing and saying it is out of my hands. Will be hilarious if it was done to someone else. For me no more Hyderabad House. ************ I had to come back and add one more horrible to above . Google should have inverse stars for being able to grade this. ********

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurant in Dfw metroplex. The food has always been tasty and the service is good. The seating arrangement is spacious. The Vijaywada chicken biryani is simply awesome and worth a try ! The lunch buffet on weekends has an elaborate spread with atleast 5 chicken variety and regular veg options. The most impressive thing was the spread of dessert options.Generally any Indian restaurant offering buffet has only 2 options in dessert.Hyderabad house surprised me with many variety of pastries and Indian sweets. If you are looking for authentic Hyderabadi biryani, Hyderabad house is the right place to visit.

Terrible experience yeaterday. Had ordered for a chicken entree with 2 naans....when I went to pick it up, it was found that the bag contained one naan and one roti. ..I was asked to wait for the roti to be replaced with a naan...I waited and collected the bag without checking again....when I opened the food at home I found 1. The roti was not replaces at all and the bag still had a naan and roti (they cheated me by making me wait and still gave me the same bread) 2. It was not the same chicken entree that I had ordered. Major mess up!. Have had some small troubles earlier too, but yesterday was the limit.

I entered and after standing there at the door for a while with no one speaking to me I asked were they open. I was told yes however no one asked if i wanted to order or why I was even in the restaurant. There was a guy on the phone at the counter who never acknowledged me at all and I was told he would take my order. After listening to his phone call for a few minutes I left and went to Chennai Cafe down the street. I was greeted as soon as i entered the restaurant. I wish I could give them less than 1 star... Im not from Dallas but even if I was Id NEVER go here again...

We have gone here few times in the past and recently on the 6th, for lunch. Food used to be quite good but we have noticed that the quality is declining. Besides that, there is one waiter who asks for your credit card when given cash. He would say "sorry, we dont have change, could you give a credit card". This happened twice on different occasions. When I said that we will not come here again, he slowly moved away. When we asked the woman (waitress), she had no problem with cash. We paid cash and got change. We decided never to go here. People, keep an eye on your credit cards!

Ordered veg curry and received chicken curry. The owner/manager that took the order wouldnt even look at us after his mess-up (he didnt write down the order or repeat). The other waiters had to apologize for him, but the owner/manager didnt apologize even once. Then that veg curry, served 20 minutes later, was under-cooked. The biryani was way too spicy for a medium, but even then, we werent given options. The staff was nice and realized the mistake, but that doesnt make up for everything else that was wrong. Owner/manager needs to learn some customer service skills.

Went to this restaurant with a lot of expectations which were not met. The buffet choice was expensive and totally not worth it. Even the items served in the buffet were not worth the amount that was charged. The items were not promptly refilled and line at the buffet was long and when you went to take the item you wanted to try it was mostly done. Only thing going for this place was the ambiance. The restaurant was well organized and had comfortable seating. Was disappointed with the experience and do not plan to go there again unless they improve significantly.
