Please never order for for a party at Basera. They will ruin your party and your guests will have to remain hungry or adjust with some tasteless rubbish that they decide to give you. Pathetic experience with a party order at Basera. We called in the morning and ordered 2 party trays- 1 veg Manchurian and other veg spring roll. We were told that it will be ready around 5:30 pm. At 5:30 we called to confirm if the order is ready and were told that it will be ready in another half hour. At 7 pm my friends went to pick the order and they were told that spring rolls were not available. How on earth is that a valid excuse when we had placed the order and they had accepted it 6-7 hours earlier. If they were not going to be able to make the spring rolls then how the hell did they accept the order. They also lied to my friends that they called to tell us about this but we didnt answer the call. We never got any call. There was no missed call, voice message nothing on our phones. And if that was the case it is their responsibility to call atleast a few to more times to ensure we get the message. Finally since there was no other option we took onion pakoras which is terrible in taste. If I wanted pakoras I would have made them at home. I didnt need to pay Basera for the pathetic, tasteless pakoras. All in all worst experience. So guys if you want to order your party food at Basera be prepared for them to screw up your party

Possibly the worst restaurant Ive ever been to - the food came on time, but the quality was horrendous. Virtually tasteless and sloppy palak chicken - that I could almost live with if it werent for the dreadful quality of the chicken. Absolutely disgusting rubbery unseasoned chicken with the consistency of offal. Food delivery was a truly bizarre arrangement from an assortment of random casually dressed people who appeared almost zombie-like and kept visiting the table saying are you done and proceeded to remove things before wed even finished. No knives on any of the tables and not once were we asked whether we were enjoying it. I didnt feel great after eating it and I write this some 12 hours after eating there and whatever appears to be happening with my guts and the gasses passing are almost worrying. As far as indian cuisine goes, Im quite spoiled for choice in the UK being a British citizen so maybe my standards are quite high, but this place was truly shocking especially considering its location. AVOID - dont even waste your time here. Theres a McDonalds down the street, youll have a much more pleasant experience there and will definitely receive food of a higher quality......

I decided to give this place a try based on the 129 good reviews it had (as of few hours ago). It was odd that this place had the most ratings vs the other Indian. I can only comment on carryout experience. I took my food back to hotel, part of my order was missing. When I called them to let them know (i wasnt looking for anything originally but just wanted to let them know and hoping they make it right hopefully), a woman picks up and gives me attitude. I agree I should have checked the bag myself ....but I should not have to. It was a simple two item order. Overall, the food was C- in taste. I strongly believe some of the reviews might be fake.....which explains this place has the highest amount of ratings and 4 star. Spend your money elsewhere.

We have been to the restaurant many times. Their food has always been good. Recently. we held a birthday party at the party hall. The day of the party, morning, we went to the hall to decorate. The place was a mess. We asked them to clean and they promised it would be . We showed up for the party and our guests started showing up around 11:30. The place was still dirty, especially the seat covers. They were disgusting . I had them clean again. They actually had to go get new seat covers from their other restaurant and change it while my guest were coming in. Their sevice with regards to the party hall is absolutely horrible. I dont even understand why they have a party hall, if they dont care to provide good service. I am giving 2 stars just for the food.

They have items on the online menu which are not available for Ala Carte or take out. The lady who took the order didnt tell me anything about this over the phone.. I reached there and waited for 15 mins and then a server comes and tells me we tried calling you (I never got a call).. The entree ordered is not available. I was like give me any entree readily available.. Had to wait for another 20 mins before I could get out. What irritated me more was this lady who bills me in front of the other server (who was explaining me the issue with the entree) .. Is asking me after 5 mins.. Why are you waiting sir? And I was like... What about my entree... Then it clicked for her. This is the 3rd time I am having issues with their take out. Will be my last time.

After doing a bit of googling, decided to go to Basera for New Years Eve dinner. Had booked table well in advance. I was told the restaurant will open by 7, went there by 7.45 and they seemed to arrange table. They made us wait for 30 more minutes. Now coming to the food, they had lots of variety for vegetarians - Gobi manchurian, pakoda, paneer kurma, Naan, chole masala, biriyani, Desserts- gulab jamoon and gajar halwa. The quality of food was pretty good. Over the phone, I was told that the dinner would include dosa and Idli items as well and would cost 13$. None of these items were served and I was charged a dollar more - 14$ ! They seemed to be pretty good with food part, not so on Management and customer service part. Need to improve.
