My two favorite ethnic foods are Indian and Thai. Always on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant within 20 minutes of home, I was thrilled to discover Biryani Hut Express, a small Indian restaurant, tucked into a shopping plaza off Center Ridge Rd in Westlake between Columbia and Dover Center Roads. The food and service are outstanding, the food authentic. On Tuesdays through Fridays during lunch they have the Chefs Special Thali (an Indian platter with an assortment of dishes) which is what I order because its different each time. The vegetarian Thali is my "go to" and I find myself craving this food if its been over a week since Ive tasted it. The generous portion of Briyani is full of seasonal vegetables and delectable Indian spices and is often accompanied by dal and another vegetarian side dish as well as Naan, an appetizer, and a dessert. My partner orders the non-vegetarian Dali which today came with either chicken or goat meat and he was equally pleased with his choice. Biryani Hut Express has been open 7 months and during that time theres been heavy road construction along Center Ridge Rd in front of the plaza so you need some determination to get there and deal with the hassle. Today it was raining with no workers and no traffic issues. Dont be deterred by the road construction. The food you get once you arrive is worth whatever minor hassle it takes to get there. They have a brisk takeout business as well. According to our genial waiter, there are plans to expand into an available space next door so they can accommodate larger groups. There is also an Indian grocery in the same shopping center if you are so inspired (as I was) by your delicious meal and want to try your hand at cooking Indian food at home.

You can get your food delivered by way of Uber Eats. Im glad I did. I have to agree with a lot of comments. The biryani is amazing. Flavors are in incredible. I dont know now what is authentic because Im not Indian/Asian but I know this was very good. I eat a lot of Indian food and have tried it in many different cities. This is by far one of the best biryani Ive had. Please keep in mind I only tried the shrimp biryani and thats what Im rating...and the fact I was able to get this great meal via Uber Eats. Awesome job!

One of the best restaurants in my experience in the US to find authentic food. We were on our way back from the Cedar point and unexpectedly ended up having food at this amazing place. The staff were so kind that knowing that we planned to have food in the car after online order as it was after hours, they let us in and instantly arranged everything for us. There were complimentary deserts served as well. Dont miss having Manchuria if you are visiting.

Ive been here many times and its always wonderful. I really appreciate the efforts they are putting in bring up the nativity by means of special events (lunch / dinner) covering most of the prominent Indian festivals (Telugu New year, Tamil New year etc..). We ordered in large volume as well for parties, Im impressed not only with taste bus also quantity. Being a vegetarian, I love their Masala Pepper Corn, Kadai Paneer, Bendi Masala, Mushroom Curry.

This is the only place I have ever gotten biryani from but I am hooked. Seriously---I get it about once a week, Im convinced theres something addictive in the paneer. The curry dishes I have tried are really good too, just remember to ask for rice with them if you get take-out. Staff had always been polite and take-outs are ready in a very reasonable time. Im glad theyve brought some delicious new food to the area!

Been there for the first time today. Its awesome food. Specially Starters (Vegi Manchurian) and their Biryani.. Oh my god. they are one to die for. We had Vegi Biryani and Egg Biryani and it is awesome. Their portions are hugh and very generous size. one portion is more than enough for atleast 4 people. Definitely a place to go for sure...

If someone is searching for a pure authentic south Indian touch and spice level , the best you can ever get. Andhra style boneless chicken biryani and all the non-vegetarian appetizers are too good. Especially mango lassi, you would never get this kind any where else which actually tasted like pure mango juice with some pulp too ❤️

What makes Biryani Hut one of the best (if not the best) Indian place in Cleveland is not only the highest quality of food and flavor, but also the large portions that are very well priced. I ONLY come to this Indian restaurant regularly of all Indian restaurants in Cleveland despite others being closer to me.

Wow!! I am happy we got one good Indian Restaurant in Westlake !! Today I brought Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65 . They Taste Superb !! Briyani is Really Superb and I loved the Taste!! I tried their House Special "Avakaya Biriyani", No words to speak. Its awesome. I would say that this is the Best Biriyani that i had. I have also tried their Gongura Mutton, its excellent and very authentic taste and delicious. Their Service is Excellent

Delicious food cooked to perfection. The service was beyond excellent and staff is very accommodating and nice. We had veg manchurian, biryanis, and cut mirchi, they were great. Felt nostalgic. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent taste. Staff were very accommodating. One of my friends in the party kept saying that it was the most authentic Veg Manchurian he ever had since coming to US. Must try if youre going to Cedar Point or visit Ohio.
