I had a really good meal here with some great friends last night. We found the place via the Yelp app, and were drawn by the great reviews which, as it turns out, are spot on. After being seated, we perused the menu, which is a simple two page affair that lets you hone in on something without getting analysis paralysis. We decided on gobi/corn manchurian and chicken lolipops for starters, both requested (and delivered) medium spicy. The manchurian was delicious, very crispy with a perfect breading and very nice, spicy flavor. The texture of the cauliflower was just right, not too crispy and not mushy. Corn seemed less prominent in the mix, but was nice as well. The chicken was crispy on the outside yet moist on the inside, and if there was a knock at all, the drummers could have been a little meatier For the main courses, we chose chicken biryani, boneless lamb korma, and Gongura goat curry. The biryani had a nice. fluffy, and fragrant rice, with a good sized portion of bone-in chicken beneath. Accompanying raita and curry sauces were delicious, and went well with the garlic naan (very garlicky, in a good way) and green chili naan we selected. The korma was slightly sweet yet spicy, with a thick, great flavored sauce that really clung well to the lamb pieces. The lamb itself was tender, juicy, and had a delicate flavor that definitely said "lamb" and not "mutton". Goat curry was even better, with a dark brown sauce that had a very good spice, and while there were some bone-in pieces, most of it was boneless, which made it easier to eat. Overall, our dishes here were outstanding. Everything tasted great, the presentation was good, and the meats were all very good quality. This is definitely a good place to sample fine Indian cuisine!

WARNING; LONG REVIEW! Peacock is an amazing restaurant! Not only is the place set up very well (it has gorgeous decorations and seating arrangement), but it also has many other factors that contribute to it. First of all - this may or may not be important to you at all - but their music choice was amazing! They continuously play upbeat bollywood songs, and if youre like me, it instantly brings up the mood. Secondly, their staff is committed. They greet you with a smile on their face, and one staff member, Miss Sravanthy, even complimented me on awkwardly dancing in my seat :D. And finally, their food is delicious! My sister and I personally cannot take any level of spice whatsoever, so we requested mild food. Thanks to Peacock, we were able to enjoy our experience as they took our request and made the mild food, which most Indian restaurants cannot fulfill. They have updated technology for paying the bill - which honestly could go either way. The food, unfortunately did take a while, but it was extremely crowded, so who can blame them? All in all, I would definitely recommend Peacock to everybody - vegetarians as well.

Pathetic food. Someone mentioned that they serve one week old food and thats so true. I was a supporter of the restaurant but this Saturday we went for dinner with some friends from Dubai. We ordered tandoori chicken, malai chicken kabab, malai kofta and butter chicken. They have changed the staff and this time the experience was pathetic. Tandoori chicken and malai Kabab was like leather and for sure 1 week old. We called the owner and told him and he said he will not charge for tandoori. We then thought that the main course will be ok. We had ordered everything as extra mild and they had extra chilies in it. When told about this they took everything back and then brought back in 5 minutes like adding some sugar as we could taste what they tried to do. My wife, me and my friend and his wife who took flight to Dubai next day are all on antibiotics for stomach infection. I can tell you this restaurant is moving from reaching the peak to going down. They have at least lost me as a customer and will make sure none of my knowns go here. Thanks Saurabh

The food is always good and the owner is super nice . The only reason why I gave this one star rating is because of the bartender JACKIE. My fiancé and I do take out orders theres a one or two dollars difference than dine orders .My fiancé try to explain to her the difference of the price ,she got upset when he asked to speak to the owner . The owner told my fiancé he was correct in place the order for us.When I pick up the order she told me that my husband was rude and I kindly told her that we work to hard for our money to be charge incorrectly and she would feel the same way .After that I came in with my stepdaughter who is white/Indian which Im black in she ask who is she rudely and after I payed for my food she walk away didnt thank me for my business and didnt hand my order. I went into today to pick up my order and after I payed she throw the receipt at me like Im dog. I dont know if her tampon is stuck consistent up her ass but I will not spend my money here. I wont come back until shes replaced .

We walked in around 5pm on a Monday afternoon. No sign of any one in the place. After a few minutes a young lady came to seat us and supply menus. After going through the menu to make up our minds the young lady appeared again to take our order. But, then she informed me not every thing on the menu was available. It would have been nice to know that before we made our choice. I assume there clientele is Indian and they didnt seem to know what to do with someone unfimiluar with the cusene. Being dissuaded from ordering an entree apiece the waiter wasnt sure of the portion sizees but didnt seem to approve our choices. The soup was brought one at a time and 10 minutes apart. The main course Lamb Korea was tasty but one piece of lamb my wife had was tough. After a long wait i had to eventually request our check. When punching in a 15% tip on the e-terminal the waitress let out an audible snort. I thought I was being generous for unhelpful mediocre service but it was obvious she disapproved.

This place has good food, not great or even "fancy" food., but the place is just blah on the inside. They have nothing on the tables, basically nothing on the walls, no style at all. It just has no appeal to either be a fancy restaurant or a good local place. We got plenty of food for the money, but some of it was very spicy and most of it was rice, rice and well more rice. We ordered the five course meal and frankly only two of the five were tasty. They also serve the food like it was in a cafeteria, no presentation of the plate. The menu is also a little confusing and the waiters peruse around the place looking over every table. We had no idea who was taking care of us. They are trying, but they need to educate their staff to be a little more pleasant, friendly and helpful. This is obviously a first attempt at running a restaurant. There are so many indian restaurants in the area, I probably wont return.

My mouth started watering already when I entered because of the savory smell of their food. Their food is awesome. When I went I ordered chicken biryani, naan, spicy fish curry, and malai kabob. They are served at the right temperature. The biryani was nice and spicy. The naan was soft as well as the curry. And their malai kabob was just the best appetizer to start off with. Their ambience is wonderful. The mood was perfect for my table of four. And music was just right. The lights are beautiful and dim. The service is so professional too. Everyone is uniform. I went yesterday and even if it was so busy I got my good within 10 15 minutes. My water is always full and the booths are nice and comfortable. Me and my family love Indian food so we go to a lot of Indian restaurants. And the prices for peacock werent that high either. My experience was wonderful and I will surely go again
