"To Whom It May Regard, Tonight I came to your establishment to celebrate my 23rd birthday. I am writing to convey my EXTREME dissatisfaction with your establishment. My issue does not lie with the quality of the food, or even the service at out table, but rather lies with the inhospitality and general lack of decorum of the manager/ owner. Before continuing, I would like note that we had one server that was exceptional. She was very nice. I came to your establishment to celebrate a birthday, but it went severely awry. I have never experienced such mistreatment by an establishment, and frankly the manager/ owners behavior was exceedingly abhorrent. When confronted with a billing issue, the manager/ owner responded in a manner that would severely discourage future patrons. When our party noticed a minor (one roll) issue in our bill, we were impolitely rebuffed. Then the nightmare of my "celebration" continued (much to your dismay, as well as my own) :(. After confronting the staff about a billing issue of *one roll* we were very RUDELY addressed. Despite my best (tearful) attempts to smooth over any issues ( by mentioning that I had previously been a hostess, as well as a server) I was spurned. By the end of this saga I simply asked my boyfriend to pay the bill (I will openly admit that told him to pay whatever needed to be paid). I would like to reiterate I have haver been treated so badly in any establishment, and I hope that this email finds someone who is able to make a significant change. Best, A VERY disgruntled customer."

This place is very nice and serene; if you get here on a good day they will have their main doors wide open to let some fresh air through. So to start off, the food was decent. I would definitely stick to the ramen for this place as its the most reasonably priced set of items on the menu. We had the curry ramen which had fried chicken in it which was ok but tasted like the slightly upgraded version of the cheap ramen you can make on your own. The broth was definitely great but the noodles were sorely lacking. The service was just odd for me so I would probably look to other reviews to see how consistent the experiences of others were like. My server kept coming back to me to tell me that whatever Sake I ordered was no longer available, including the house sake. To add to that, she also only brought one order of ramen instead of two. To top it off, the initial bill came with all the other sake I tried to order but couldnt get on it, which I obviously refuted. Would I come back here? Maybe for the ramen but not much else. It is a bit expensive for what it is.

After watching and waiting for this place to open for about a year, its finally here and I stopped in for lunch today. Good effort but still lots of tweaking to do. Had the veggie tempura appetizer followed by the Shoyu ramen. The tempura was fine. They made an interesting choice to serve a spicy, creamy mayo-like sauce instead of the dipping sauce. Its good. They also chose a thick slice of red onion that did not work because it had so much water the coating was wet and fell off. The ramen was ok. A bit of a disappointment. Flavor of the broth was fine but not hot enough. Hence the ramen was too al dente and did not separate in the soup. The egg also crumbled too easily and the pulled pork that was supposed to be there was so scarce and barely seen. Toppings overall was spare. For a bowl that cost $13.50, it should be closer to $10. Hope things improve over time. Will try the sushi next time.

Ive been here twice and last time was disappointing. Service was slow and food wasnt very warm or tasty. First time I went with a colleague. She ordered the Tonkutsu ramen and I tried it and thought it was amazing. We also tried some sushi and we thought it was pretty good. So I liked it so much that I came back with another friend and this time I myself ordered the Tonkutsu ramen. To my surprise, it was a completely different meal. Portion was smaller, it wasnt warm and the broth was bland and didnt have the red color, spiciness, and gingery taste that it had last time. The pork was almost non existent in amount and the noodles were very soggy. We also ordered some rolls and thought the sushi wasnt at all as good as the first time... Not sure what happened, but I was surprised...!

A fairly new restaurant when I went to visit, so no wait for a table and good service. Restaurant has a sleek and modern look to it, and the front of the restaurant has big door-to-ceiling windows that open up in the spring/summer. The specialty of this place is their robatayaki, which is grilled meats/veggies on a stick. Prices per stick are pretty standard, and overall pretty tasty. I also got a katsu don donburi, which was less tasty. The rice was a bit soggy and there was a bit of water (not sauce) at the bottom of the bowl which was less than appetizing.

Wonderful service! We ordered Miso Ramen. We really thought a chef is from Japan or they learned under famous Ramen Chef for years which usually ppl who try to open own Ramen store do over there. However this place is own by non Japanese. He put so much effort to make his Ramen taste close to Japanese one which he successed!!! I totally forgot to take a pic because I couldnt help digging in! Bar is edge side of the restaurant, so you can even take kids which we did. Seriously, try this place and you will fall in love.

Came for a lunch bento box but they werent serving them since they didnt have the right boxes. Settled on the tonkotsu ramen - broth had a nice flavor but they definitely skimped on the amount pork. There were also round slices of roasted corn on the cob which were very difficult to eat. Id come back, possibly for dinner to try the sushi and noodle dishes, but Im in no hurry since there are plenty of other options for Japanese in the area.

Came here with family on a Sunday night. Sat at the large table by sushi bar. You can see all actions at the sushi and grilling bar. Nice decor and good food. Mushroom Salad are buttery but not heavy. Ramen soup is rich in flavors and noodles are cooked to perfection. Also they have a really refreshing and delicious ginger beer to wash down all the flavors! It is the icing on the cake. For sure I will going back for more.

I love eating at this place. Its amazing . Their yakisoba is so good. I would include pictures but I inhale the food so fast that the flash isnt quick enough. Anyway I will be going back....often!!! So good. I think everything on their menu is good. I dont eat eggs or fish but I would eat their eggs and fish. They season everything with flavors from heaven!
