Until tonight, I had been a long time customer of Thai Moon going back several years. Tonight, March 1st 2017 at approximately 6pm, I dined with my girlfriend at Thai Moon. We ordered both the Siam Fried Rice and Chicken Basil Fried Rice. While eating the Chicken Basil Fried rice, I noticed something sharp that cut my mouth. When I pulled it out, it was chicken bone. I let the waitress know immediately and showed her the sharp piece. She walked away and I assumed she would get the manager. She came back a few minutes later and asked if we wanted to take the rest of the food home. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. I explained I cut my mouth on the chicken bone and the manager laughed. I said its not funny, and it would be very dangerous if I swallowed it. He did not apologize, and when I told him there was no way I would pay for that meal. He told us to leave. I even asked if he had seen the sharp piece his response was he threw it away. Please note we had been long time customers and we did not expect to be treated that way. We will not be back and if I had swallowed that bone vs have a cut mouth they would be facing a lawsuit.

Wow.... Amazing again and again and again... I dont leave many 5 star reviews but when you consistently create flavorful and authentic cuisine.... You deserve it.. The staff here is so friendly and genuinely happy to be there. I prefer to order a few entrees and share with everyone.(family style) If thats your plan make sure you double or even triple up on the golden bags. the sweet chili sauce is FIRE but the bags can stand alone.. Seafood kee mao was a huge hit and as always the phu ket rice was perfect. You truly do it right here at Thai Moon.. There are a few Thai restaurants in Arlington but if you want PROPERLY portioned and priced food that is authentic and seasoned perfectly look no further.. If you must stray keep in mind you have been warned.. BEST THAI IN BOSTON SUBURBS..

We went there on 07/12/2017 - although the food was OK, the service was awful - the waiters were very very arrogant and extremely rude. In particular, the waitress seriously lacked basic plate etiquette. For example, if someones still eating, you shouldnt start taking away plates unless the customer has pushed the plate away. If you start clearing plates halfway through the meal, people feel rushed. And then when it came to payment, they forced us to pay more than 20% tip which we declined as we did not like the service. When we left a 10% tip instead, the waitress and the other waiter looked at us scornfully. NEVER COMING BACK!

Wow, nice open space with excellent attentive service. A big group of friends and I went and ordered everything from the Thom Kha Gai soup to peanut sauce glazed duck and fried bananas and it was all spectacular. The spice ratings were a little misleading (1-3 "chilies") so make sure to tell them exactly how youd like your order. I suggest calling ahead if you have a big group because it is a small place but in a town with lots of good places to eat, Thai Moon definitely ranks in the top.

Excellent crispy duck, served with a few different sauce choices. All fat is rendered out, duck is tender, and skin is crisp (even as takeout!). Only problem is inconsistent phone ordering...on many occasions when they are busy they just dont pick up! There is also a giant gap in the salad selection of the menu (a hugely important part of a balanced thai meal) - no larb, som tom (papaya salad), grilled beef salad, etc.

Awesome Thai food! We come from upstate NY to eat here, as we used to live in Arlington and this was our favorite restaurant. Golden bags, steamed dumplings and pad Thai to start, all are amazing with delicious sauces. Were partial to the basil entree (chicken, beef, tofu, whatever you like), but have always had delightful meals here. Save room and head down Mass Ave to Lakota Bakery for some desserts!

When they say garlic beef (chicken too), they mean garlic and its delicious. Also love the meat dumplings, friends praise the soup. Service has always been friendly and good when weve been there; oftentimes its the owner (wife is the chef so I hear) who waits on us. Highly recommend

This is the best Thai food I have EVER had. The dishes are very authentic and I have not had one item on the menu that I didnt love! The prices are very reasonable and the ambience is great. Love the new decor as well!

Love this place; I order take-out regularly. Great spicy dishes; you can really feel the heat if you ask for it, but its not overwhelming and you get the full flavor of the dishes regardless. Polite staff, too!

Only ate here one time but I was shocked to find no tofu in the Rama garden. Every time I have ever gotten it at other restaurants there was tofu. Other then that the sauce was good.

Best Thai food in the Arlington/cambridge and one of the top in Boston. Real Thai, not Chinese with Thai names.
