I went to this restaurant for the first time on May 26, 2015 and I initially gave it a 5 star review, on account of its good food and good service and nice decor. On January 1, 2016, I revised my review and gave the restaurant 4 stars. I explained the reason for the demotion as follows: "Update as of January 1, 2016: I am writing this update around 1:30 a.m., close to the very start of the new year. A huge noise has been emanating from the restaurant - I cannot call it music - as the restaurants guests dance and drink and enjoy their partying. The noise is overwhelming from a block away, which is where I live, so it must be deafening inside. Okay, I know people want to celebrate, but how about turning down the volume so that people who need to can get some sleep? Thats what I requested of the person, Boris, who answered the phone when I called. Boris said he would turn the volume down "a little." Maybe he did, but I cannot tell any difference. So, Boris, I hope that you and your guests are enjoying the party, because it is time now to pay the piper: due to your lackadaisical attitude towards me and towards the community your restaurant is supposed to "serve," I have downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 4. Party like this again and and see what happens to my rating. Stay tuned." Update as of April 27, 2017: I am downgrading this restaurant again, this time to one star. The food may still be good, but now I am "fed up," so to speak. All last night and until 1:30 a.m. this morning the restaurant had another party, and the "music," which to me was just noise, was deafening. At around 1:00 a.m. I went to the restaurant and complained about the noise to a manager named David and he said he would try to get the partygoers to lower the volume of the music; if David did try, he was not successful, because the noise continued for at least another 1/2 hour. In any case, David spoke with me as if control over the volume is not up to him ultimately but rather up to the partygoers. What nonsense! It is the responsibility of the owners and managers of this restaurant to be courteous to neighbors who live nearby. We have a right to peace and quiet, especially after 11:00 p.m. at night, let alone 1:00 a.m. So I say, eat here but only if you are willing to support a restaurant that does not care about the community in which it is located. Update as of July 4, 2017: another party so loud it is deafening. I wonder at 10:15 p.m. how far into the night this one will last. What a terrible restaurant! The response from the owner is to my May 26, 2015 review.

I went here for the first time tonight for my birthday dinner with the family. Everything in this restaurant is at an amazing level. The service was fast, and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. The decor is warm and cozy, and the music is pleasant and just loud enough to be heard but not overwhelm you. Of course, the food is the most important part of dining, and Tsob Tsobe does not disappoint. We had the pickled trout, the village salad, the avocado salad, the potato with mushroom, the Georgian pilaf, and a few assorted kebabs. The trout was wonderfully tender and salty without being overwhelming. The village salad was incredibly refreshing and crisp. The avocado was ripe and creamy with a lemon wedge to add some acidity to your liking. When it came time for the kebabs, I have tyo say, their kebab game is on point! Perfectly grilled yet juicy. THe lamb and beef were mouth watering, and the shrimp was nicely charred to give crunch and smokiness. Without a doubt, I would recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate something or just to have a nice, pleasant meal. From what I hear, they do get very busy around weekends but a simple reservation in advance will avoid a long wait. Also, the owner is always around, which I am sure contributes a lot to the success of this place. He pays attention to his staff as well as all of his customers, so everything is always kept to a high standard. Wonderful man!

We are officially becoming their regular clients!!! This morning my boyfriend and I decided to get breakfast at Tsob Tsobe. We got there so early and the manager served us the food. The portion of the salmon sandwich was so big that we could not finish it. It comes with curly French fries and a fresh salad. The crepe we ordered mix berries was also so good and light which is exactly what you want to eat for breakfast. Their Turkish tea in a tea pot is also very delicious, and costs only $6.99 compared to other Turkish places that sell their tea pots for $12. This is definitely a must try place!

Ordered delivery from this place 2 days in a row. I had the chicken stroganoff over mashed potatoes and it was so good I ordered it again the following day. The servings seem small at first look but I was overstuffed at the end. They forgot the fries that came with my coworkers lamb burger and were nice enough to come back with them without making a fuss. The breakfast menu looks amazing, cant wait to go for that. Would absolutely order again or visit.

The food is good, nothing special or unusual, but still good. Prices are unreasonably high. I would say twice as in other similar restaurants in this area and similar quality. They also include so called service charge into the bill when served 2 people only (as I know this kind of charge is appled when 6 or more people are served). It was not tips, because their bill contains gratuity. So they want double tips. I would not recomment this place.

Tsob Tsobe is one of my favorite places to eat. It is a combination of a Turkish Café and Russian Restaurant. I love the authentic Ukrainian borsht. You just cant find it anywhere as good. I am working my way through the panoply of shish kabobs and so far they have all been excellent. I also tried the lamb shank it week and it was rich and tender with braised vegetable. I cant wait to return.

I first went to Tsob Tsobe to a Private Room Banquet. I was so impressed by the food I brought my wife back last week. She ordered the crispy Manti meat dumpling which we shared. We also tried the lamb shish kabob and the samsa which is a little meat pie. Then we split the Tabaka which is a whole brick oven chicken. It was one of the best meals we have ever had.
