I called to order pick up from looking at the menu on their website. The prices where different from when I called to order. They had me hold on the phone for 15 minutes to let me know that they cant do anything about honoring the price thats on the website. The "manager" said that the website is just not updated. Now, how is that the costumers fault?! Its the marketing departments job to update all of that information. Never ordering from there again and I dont recommend this place due to their unbelievable false service!

I had a great experience here. Ive been wanting to stop in since my roommate brought home some food he ordered from there and let me tried it. I had the chicken kabob and tried the chicken shawarma. Everything from the entrees rice, pita bread, and tahnini sauce was fantastic. Very high quality, flame-grilled taste and cooked perfectly. It was my first time there and another lady in the restaurant even stopped at my table to tell us how great her kafta kabob was.

Good prices for a good amount of food. The combination platter gives enough food for two meals; Id probably get extra pitas to go with all the meat and rice. Falafel was a little dry. The chicken shawarma sandwich is also good. Chicken was well seasoned and tender and the hummus was good. If I worked closer I would visit for lunch regularly. The workers are very friendly and seem like nice people. There isnt much seating inside, only ~8 small tables.

Ameer is one of our go to places for lunch at my work. Its good Middle Eastern food at a reasonable price. The lunch special at seven dollars is a good deal. The chicken shawarma sandwich and entree is also really good. The rice too, oh the rice. Its delicious. Call ahead and order if picking up as it takes a while.

Not only the decor is very interesting and atmospheric but the ground beef Chicken kabobs are the best in Chi Town - soft, succulent, flavored with spices that largely retain their individual flavors,. The chicken tender is the best I have had anywhere else. Highly recommended for people who likes healthy foods.

I recommend "Ameer Platter" to all. Make sure you try the shish and kofta kabab. I tried this restaurant almost 1 year ago, but now its way better than last year. The only downside is delivery time!! Food arrived one hour & 20 minutes after the order was placed.

If youre an avid foodie, who actually likes quality ingredients...Steer CLEAR. This place is for the person who would like to have middleeastern food but doesnt care about quality. Why would great quality kabobs only be 7.99, its because their quality is horrible.

The meat is great. Any dish with meat your gonna love. Falafels are good. I usually get the sandwich combo with fries. I think its just as good or better than pita inn. Great kabob place!

Amazing food, The Chicken Kabob Sandwich, Beef Shawarma Sandwich, Baba Ghanouj, chicken kabob, beef kabob are to die for. The Kabob are cheap if your to save money or on a no carb diet.
