Great Beef Brisket Five stars for their meat. Very, very good cole slaw and potato salad. Baked beans were excellent, stewed apples and red potatoes were great, but the squash casserole was disappointing. The huge hush puppies at first showed promise, but they were prepared in a very amateurish way: deep fried in oil that was nowhere near as hot as needed; as a consequence, they were dry and not fully cooked inside, but soaked with grease to a depth of almost one-quarter inch. Yuck! Did not try the ribs, but folks at an adjacent table pronounced them doubly delicious, and they looked great. All three of their BBQ sauces were delicious, so any palate should be pleased.

Parking is not motorcycle friendly, steep downhill gravel. had a coupon I got on 08/03/17 for free sandwich with purchase so I went on 08/04/17 to redeem. I was told they didnt accept the coupon any more, after a brief misunderstanding they accepted the coupon. When my order came out the free sandwich was NOT in the bag so I had to get that straight. Order was to go with no napkins or utensils. Beef Brisket was semi tough with a poor smoked taste. I would like to meet them in a competition and show them how to smoke a brisket correctly with good taste. There is no excuse for bland smoked meat. Will not go back

Butts On The Creek is a place you should at least try once. The food was good. The fried corn is awesome. I cut everything off with my knife and ate it with my fork. The coleslaw was not that great. Its loaded with pepper. The pulled pork was good. I could have almost ate it with no sauce. They have a sweet BBB sauce at the table along with two other choices. It didnt really have that great of a taste to it. The sweet tea was awesome. I think I went through three cups. You can see a creek next to the restaurant if you get one of the tables next to the window. It was pretty relaxing.

Me and my husband ate here for the first time and both ordered the pork plate dinner. It really was the most bland food we have ever eaten. It seemed like such a popular place so we were excited, but the service was not very good and the food was terrible. My husband ordered a beer and had to ask a server twice in order to get it. Very strange set up as far as getting your food and drinks. I would not recommend coming here. The only good thing is that the atmosphere is nice because of the pretty surroundings.

The fried corn was the only thing descent there. The service was horrible! We didnt get our drinks until 30 sec before our food was delivered, and that was only because we flagged the waitress down and asked for them. Then no refills came until we begged for more. This bbq joint didnt have sliced brisket, only pulled, which means its been sitting for some time. Not impressed, I wont be back.

This location looked promising based on full parking lot. Looks certainly deceived in this case. I can only give it two stars because the sides were decent. The pulled pork was terribly bland. Waitress seemed overwhelmed, never checked for refills, and never visited the table after food was brought out except to deliver check. Had she checked on us I wouldve asked for a different entree.

Looking through restaurants and this one had 4.3 STARS with rave reviews. Well my opinion, it was not worth 1 star. 2 adults and 1 child cost us $46 - I usually dont leave reviews however it was so BAD that I couldnt walk away saying nothing. Im not sure if Maggie Valley has never had good bbq or if they are just focused on tourists. AWFUL food & weak service!

Server took forever to bring me a box to go. The bill got there very quickly! The food had NO flavor at all. The ribs were tough, spinach casserole not good but squash casserole mot to bad still NO flavor. Its hard to get in and out from the parking lot. Watch out for children hands they have a small gift shop of glass and very expensive items!!

Zomg delicious homemade everything!!! I had the Pork Dinner with the spinach casserole and coleslaw and hush puppies...everything was delicious. They have three different, house made bbq sauces, sweet molasses, spicy vinegar, and mustard. All were fantastic! Service was wonderful, atmosphere was fun and comfortable, and everything was clean.

The owner/manager greeted me and gave me fabulous advice on what to eat. Then he gave me catfish with my order for free since I had never had it before! I spent $9 on the brisket sandwich, fried corn, and got the catfish for free. Amazing value! The food was delicious and the service was 1st class! Highly recommend this restaraunt.

The pork was delicious, best Ive had in the area. Smokey and tender and also moist. Fried corn is a fairly new concept to me, but it was tasty. Hush puppies were perfect. Sauces are excellent. Love the atmosphere by the creek. I didnt expect to find handmade glass art inside, but it was a pleasant surprise. Great little spot.

Onion ring app- menu stated enough for 3 people, we thought it would be good for 4 or 5. Manwhich-perfect in every way, couldnt eat all of it. Took fried corn , 1 hush puppy ,half onion rings home. Bbq plate pork dinner-good. Bbq sauce good. Beans really good, potato salad good, hush puppy. Good. View of creek-spectacular.

The food was excellent, although we arrived at 6pm only to learn that they had sold out of brisket. The restaurant was full and we had a 15 min wait. The waitress was adequate, but we have had better service. The food and the selection of sides etc was very good and all things considered I would go back again.

Out of towners, expect a treat! The catfish was fabulous. Both fried or grilled it will melt in your mouth. The deep fried corn on the cob was truly an unexpected surprise. The portions more than adequate and the outdoor atmosphere was both cozy and friendly due to wonderful southern hospitality

We were seated overlooking the mountain stream. The rib meat was falling off the bone, the pulled pork was moist and generous, the fried corn on the cob and squash casserole was delicious. We had no wait, friendly staff and good service. We enjoyed the ambience and highly recommend.

We were here in May and had burnt ends, amazing! But today we had ribs and pulled pork and chicken. The chicken was dry, too dry to eat. The pulled pork was ok. The ribs were... Eh. The sides were excellent, but we didnt really enjoy the proteins.
