I would love to give this establishment a 5 star review. The food was excellent but the waitresss were more concerned with telling each other what they did wrong than help a paying customer. I understand things are hectic during peak time but talk to each other in the back. I stood at the register for 5 minutes while 2 waitresss told another everything she was messing up. It took less than 1 minute to cash me out but you chose to argue with each other in front of a paying customer instead of taking care of your patrons.

This place was amazing. We came with seven people and in a little place like this could prove to be a nuisance, but the staff was very polite and we were seated in under 30 mins. Our waiter, Shawn Ledford was the best hands down. I cant think of any other place that I have eaten at where you can get a comedy show and great food. Service was super fast and everything was delicious. Please if you are ever in the Waynesville area this is a good place to stop and grab some good food. We will be back!!!

Very popular and I know why .You must try the Beef Brisket the best I ever had. Great country music on back poach real Carolina hospitality. Get you some... only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the place is a old house and it is small. On the other hand it adds to its quaintness is that a word ???. No better BBQ in Wanesville I wish the would open in my hometown of St.Petersburg, Florida

This place is really good. The ribs are amazingly tasty with that special dry rub and I was so surprised when I started eating them to how tender they were. The collard greens were very tasty as well. I also had a pulled pork sandwich with some of their spicy bbq sauce it was out of the park! The toast I was given was very tasty and buttered up for you. A great experience. I will be back.

You want real deal bbq? Haywood Smokehouse has what you want. Their meats are smoked. Not hanging out in a slowcooker and smoked a little bit. Their meats are smoked low and slow. Try out a few of their homemade sauces. They have a sauce to meet your meat needs: sweety, spicy, vinegar, or fruity. MacNCheese? Yup. Baked Beans? Yup, WITH BURNT ENDS! Its all good and you need it now...go!

Awesome place to grab a bite. Brisket is always perfect. Melts in your mouth. They have so many different sauces for all tastes. Their sides are also so delectable. Ordinary sides made to be extraordinary. Staff is always friendly, bathroom always clean. Perfect little hole in the wall kind of place. If you are in or around this area, this is a must go place, you will fall in love with.

Awesome food cant complain about anything prices was right food was he by st barbeque brisket Ive ever had. So tender and melt in your moth. Good choice of sides we had mac and cheese and onion rings. Staff were very friendly and engaging helpful with menu choices. Atmosphere was great we sat outside with heaters, by Choice.Highly recommend this will be a favorite place we goto.

The most amazing BBQ, PERIOD. The pulled pork is out of this world, the baked beans have just the right amount of smoke to them, the potato salads acidity is on the money, the mac and cheese is perfectly creamy, and I could honestly go on for days. The bottom line is that I dream about this place as soon as I leave. This place is a necessity. Not a want, but a NEED.

Agree with so much of what has been said. We had brisket sandwich with collards and pork sandwich with green beans. Texas toast bread was excellent. Good sized portions of brisket. Collards fresh and firm with chunks of bacon. Pork was also very good with nice portion and beans were more firm than mushy. Service was also excellent.

Absolutely delicious. Baked beans out of this world, coleslaw perfect, brisket was sublime. Potatoes were good too. Didnt care for the Mac and cheese. When I come back, Im getting the brisket platter again, with coleslaw and baked beans. I bet the sandwiches are great too, that bread is huge. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Talk about the best ribs, brisket, pulled pork, bbq sauce, Mac and cheese, campfire taters, and sweet tea you ever put in your mouth. I havent tried the whole menu yet. If I had, Im sure I would have listed the whole thing here. If you are in Waynesville, make sure you stop by here. No other bbq restaurant even comes close.

Some of the better BBQ in Waynesville - where they really shine is their sides. The jalapeno mac-n-cheese is killer and we love the burnt-end baked beans and collards. They also have a great selection of homemade sauces so youre covered whether you prefer a mustard-vinegar sauce (objectively the best BBQ) or a sweet red.

Excellent food. The St. Louis ribs were awesome! The portions were fair as well. The mister raved about the smoked mac and cheese. The outdoor seating is pleasant; the staff friendly and eager to please. This is a very pet friendly restaurant! They brought out a little dish of water for our little guy!

Its everything everyone is saying it is - great food, great service and a laid back, "secret" location and atmosphere. We live 100 miles away and dont get to go as much as wed like, but we cant wait to get back there. Make sure you try the brisket and the "smoked" mac and cheese.

Passing through the area and stopped in after reading the reviews. I ate the brisket and must say it was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was served promptly. Outstanding place to eat! I will definitely stop in again if Im ever back in the area.

Best BBQ in NC . Brisket and ribs are to Die for. Bbq sandwich is unreal. All the sides are delicious. Me and my wife went her for dinner from a suggestion of a friend. All I Have To Say Is Wow. I was blown away by the food and the service. Cant wait to go back!

In my 51 years Ive had a lot of BBQ, from Memphis to North Carolina, Haywood BBQ is the best Ive ever had. We stumbled on this place by accident and really happy we did. Haywood is 1.15 hours from our house and we will be making that trip at least once a month now.

Nice folks, homey, and the food is GREAT. The road was a complete mess due to construction. We were towing a huge trailer. I suggested to my spouse that the trouble to get in was not worth it. Im so glad we spent the extra time to get in. It was sooo worth it.

The restaurant is so neat & has a down home southern feel. The food is PHENOMENAL. The Brunswick stew is by FAR the best Ive ever had!!! The portions are huge and the value Incredible. I got the 1/2 chicken honey BBQ special . Oh my LORD! SO DELICIOUS

The food was GREAT!!! We had a large group (41 people) to feed so we didnt eat at the restaurant, but everything we ate was excellent. The beef brisket especially hit the spot for me. It almost melted in my mouth (really, Im not even kidding).
