I had a pretty similar experience as nightshrill. Order food on a saturday night, only about 7pm and was told that it would be about 30 mins. 7:50, no food. I called and they said the driver had already left and should be here shortly, okay. 8:15, no food. I live only 5 mins away from the place and it takes 10 minutes to make a pizza, at this point I was pretty irritated and called back only to get the same answer. 8:30, no food. I call again and said something like I had been calling for the last half hour to see where my food was and the manager just says, "well we told you it would be about 30-45 mins for your delivery" to which I responded that I ordered and hour and a half ago, to which he only said we will be there shortly. The order showed up about 5 minutes later and I never got one apology from anyone on the phone or the driver, it was like I was in the wrong for calling them about my food, which I had already paid for with a debit card. This is no way to run a business.

Ive been ordering from Golden Pizza for over a fews years now and knew the food was not the best around, but theyre the only pizza place willing to deliver pretty late and their prices are reasonable, so I accepted it. However, tonight my experience was particularly bad and the last straw for me. My order arrived with one sandwich incorrect so I called Golden to let them know, the man on the phone was very rude and insisted that I had ordered the sandwich they sent me. No resolution was offered, he told me I should speak more clearly next time. A little bit of customer service really does go a long way, especially when youve been a long time customer. Of the food that did come correctly, my fries were dry and barely warm- I couldnt eat them. However, my girlfriend was happy with her salad wrap, so they earned their second star.

I dont know what planet theses other idiots are living on, or how they deal with people on that planet, but Ive never had any issues with this place. Ive been ordering from Goldens Pizza for... As long as I can remember. Five? Ten years? At least as long as theyve been open. The people on the phone are quick and to the point, all my orders are taken and done with in about one or two minutes, counting time for giving them my payment info. Ive never been treated rudely once, and the only times Ive ever had a communication breakdown was when someone with a VERY thick accent was answering one night. That slowed the order down to about 5 minutes, but nothing was wrong, and everything arrived hot and delicious. Prices are great, and arrival is always about 40 minutes. I live 15-20 minutes away depending on traffic.

Very disappointed. Just got off the phone with the Shrewsbury location. Placed a delivery order through them. The lady who answered the phone and also took my larder was the sole reason four this negative review. As soon as she picked up she didnt say hello or thanks for choosing goldens, she immediately just said im going to have to wait two minutes before I order anteing or that she can give me attention. Then I finally start placing my order and the phone rings, she answered it as I am trying to place my order and starts telling the ppl whim called they gotta wait 2-5 min also. How are you supposed to get my order right if your not even paying attention to what I an saying..? All in all, very UN happy. Felt rushed off the phone and her tone seemed like she wanted to leave work. Possibly even early.

Not the best. My friend and I went out for Pizza. We found this place on Google maps. We drove to the location to find that it was located out back of the establishment in the picture. For a second we thought we should just go and not stop there. Despite our better judgment, we went in. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza with broccoli and onions. What we actually got was a buffalo chicken with bacon and onions. Also the cheese was undercooked. The kicker to this is the guy who took our order asked us twice if we wanted broccoli... We confirmed with a resounding yes.

They refused to deliver to me because i did not have a cell number to give them. Not everyone has a phone, i was using a work phone and a call from them wouldnt go through. Unfortunately the women answering the phones was not intelligent enough to comprehend that concept, poor thing. The manager needs to grow some balls and deliver a pizza, ive never encountered this before and im disgusted at how half ass this "pizza restaurant" is run. What a joke

New ownership jacked up prices and cut down hours of operation. This makes goldens pizza no different from anyone else. They had a competative advantage over everyone else with their combination of quality and price but they lost it. I used to consider them first but now its probably cheaper to call papa ginos. I went from ordering goldens at least once a week, now i cut back to once a month.

Ive tried to order delivery from this place a couple times. The first time was okay. The food showed up and it was pretty good, even though it wasnt as hot as, say, Dominos. The second time, today, I placed an order and received a confirmation email at 11:25am. It is now 1:32pm and my lunch still hasnt arrived. Horrible service, I dont recommend them to anyone.

Would not order from these clowns if it was the last pizza shop on earth. For one, delivery time over 1 hour an a half, Then I call and tell them that my food better not be cold, and the jack answering the phone tells me to F@@K you. What a nice business that is!! NOT!!!

Good pizza , decent price. Know how to make buffalo chicken pizza, the right way (only place in shrewsbury that makes it right), quick delivery time and courteous staff. Dont know what else you could really ask for in fast food.

Ordered an extra cheese pizza carryout, was told it would be 20 minutes. It took 50 and came out disgustingly greasy. And they didnt even attempt to offer restitution for the wait.

Goldens is our goto local pizza delivery restaurant. The pizza and sandwiches are good. The delivery is fast as well. They are open late on weekends as well.
