I just ate at M&M Grill. I really dont like that place but it is a hop, skip and a jump from my work, so sometimes I go there when Im in a time crunch. But to get straight to the point of why Im writing this interview: There was a roach on our table crawling all over our food. I went and told the manager and he said, "What can I do? They come from outside. Ive never seen a roach in here before." I highly doubt that hes never seen one in his restaurant before and, of course they come from outside. They dont beam from the Starship Enterprise. I stated that more politely with, "Of course they come from outside but you have to spray for roaches." Trust me when I say this: Roaches are NEVER a one off when found deep inside a property. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant towards the back. So he says, "Okay Ill make you new food." I asked why would I want more food when the food he gave me had a roach on it. He then said, "What do you want me to do?" I, the customer, am not supposed to tell him how to handle a situation like this. I asked him to tell me what he thinks he should do. After going back and forth he finally said, "What? Do you want your money back or something?" I was appalled and my friend who was with me said to let it go. So I asked the manager to please maintain proper pest control in his restaurant, shook his hand, and left. What he should have done is walked straight to the register and said, "Would you like your order re-made or would you like a refund?" Thats it! He failed to do that so, unfortunately for him, Im writing a review about it, picture and all. Now, to be fair, I will share my opinion of their food as if I had never encountered their pet roach: The food is greasy and decadent. The Beef Shawerma is good. Most of the rest of the food is disgustingly over-the-top. They dont care if the food kills you as long as you come back for more. You feel so sickly full and bloated afterwards that you cant even go back to work and function properly, and I say that as someone who is an athletic 195lbs and can eat my share. Bottom line, if you eat here just make sure you have nothing important to do afterwards.

Greasy, Flavorful, and DELICIOUS! If youre trying to watch your waistline dont come here as youre not going to have a good time. If youre looking for something soul-nourishing, tasty delight then youve found the right place. Oddly enough, M&M is considered a "Mexican and Mediterranean" restaurant as per their signage. But I know them for their cheeseburgers, yep, you read right their cheeseburgers. Ive come to enjoy their burgers so much that I need to limit myself to only half-a-burger as I share it with someone else. Im sure their other food is good as they also sell shawarma, falafel, and tacos but its their loaded double cheeseburger I always get. Every. Time. The loaded cheeseburger can be order as a single or double and comes with a moist beef patty covered in melted american cheese, topped with lettuce, diced tomatoes, and fried onions covered in white sauce (tzatziki sauce?). I fall, head-over-heels, for it every time and each time its always as good as the last. The fries are either a hit-or-miss but nothing special about them anyways. Overall, these people know what theyre doing and I dont question it. Just go and experience it for yourself. Prices range from $10-15 per meal (burger and fries). Side note: The hot wings were pretty good too as I prefer them over Buffalo Wild Wings or Wing Stop buffalo wings.

Kinda disappointed that there was no human way possible to try everything on the menu at once. I will start this off saying that my wife, son and I live in Lafayette, Louisiana...we know food.... We found your establishment through this page, and noticed that you replied to every review...good or bad. That tells us a lot about how you run things. So we saw your prices and gave it a shot. My wife and I had the kabob plate while our son had the cheeseburger and curly fries. We waited and looked at the menu for some 10 minutes before ordering...and no one rushed us to order. We ordered and some 10 to 15 minutes later we had our food. Fresh to order...well worth the little wait time. We made it to our destination and sat down to eat....this was by far the best plate we have ever enjoyed. (We could have shared one, but we didnt know they would be so generous with the portions) I dont know how else to word it...you need to please branch out to the Lafayette area. What is out there now has no comparison to you guys. Thank you from your new regulars!! - The Savoies

I LOVE M&M Grill! Ive had the burgers, the Mediterranean dishes, and the Mexican dishes! None of them have disappointed me. The burgers are so delicious, with my favorite being the Loaded Double Cheeseburger, the Shawarma and Falafel sandwiches are my favorites among the Mediterranean dishes, and the Burrito and Taco Mexican plates taste more authentic rather than Tex-Mex. You cant go wrong with anything you order on the menu and on top of that everything is halal. M&M is one of my favorite hole in the wall places in Houston to eat. It doesnt look like much on the outside or the inside, but thats what makes it so great. Its a hidden gem of sorts. The only real issue for new comers is where to park since it gets pretty busy around lunch time and parking in the back is very small and limited. Luckily I work down the street and just walk over to M&M. Lately its been getting busier, and Im sure word of their awesome food is spreading. Stop in and try the loaded double cheeseburger and see if you wont come back for more!

I live for little eateries like this!!! Near perfect yelp rating and proximity to my house peaked my curiosity. What a little gem! Quiet, understated little place with AMAZING food...bc a great ambiance and romantic lighting are nice but at the end if the day its all about the food... This place delivers!!! I know...I know...Mediterranean and Mexican??? At first this seems confusing to say the least...after-all these cuisines have nothing in common...right??? Turns out its way simpler than one may think! This spot is right next to a masjid and Muslims like Mexican food/burgers just as much as the next guy...they just like the meats halal and seasoned to their pallets with traditional middle eastern spices. End result is DELICIOUS food that hits the proverbial SPOT... You walk up to the counter up front to order and they call your number when your order is ready. Has a very "5 guys" feel to the place...kitchen area seems very clean and well kept. Service was very quick and friendly! I will definitely be going back!!!

Miracle and true blessing of Allah (SWT). When Allah want to give teste in food , it doesnt matter were is your location and how big or small Resturant you have is "He who send his blessing too To He Wants Too". I dont know the name of the owner but what I saw is loving caring and kind heart mother and son and family. I saw sons walked in the Resturant straight went to her mother who was sitting behind the fountain drink machine he kissed his mother forehead which is our Muslim culture too. Then I saw she was reciting something and give lots of blessing with her eyes to her son. I been to so many bigger and better Resturant but after eating food once you never want to go their again. But M&M Mexican & Meditranian Grill is exceptional their food is so testy that people like me and family keep coming back here again N again.
