We visited Parma 8200 on a Friday night. As others have said - we did find it hard to find even after doing the research and reading reviews. Once there we were greeted and seated in a nice both in the rear of the restaurant. Our server Maggie was excellent. Right after ordering, it occurred to me that we were sitting next to an empty 12 top table. I wondered about it but figured it was a large group - no big deal for me. Boy was I wrong. Inbound from the front was 3 couples and 6 young kids. And what did they act like - go figure - kids. They were loud and rambunctious and distracting. I am not a child hater, but I just felt these couples were rude to bring these kids in to what is arguably a high end restaurant for dinner on a Friday. The kids were so loud that our server Maggie had to apologize because she had to yell the dessert choices to us so we could hear her. Ridiculous. We ended up 86’ing dessert and left because of the group next to us. I don’t hold this against Parma 8200 - I don’t think they can prevent people from bringing kids - I blame the parents who decided to have a nice night out with half a second grade classroom. I was really happy with the food - and I think Maggie was excellent so I give 5 stars. I think that evening my experience was more of a 1-2 star night. Parents - be considerate of others and either head to a family restaurant or get a sitter. PS - Maggie if you read this thanks for grabbing my cell phone for me when I forgot it! I should have slipped you another $20 at the time, but those kids had me so knackered I was off my game. Send me a message and tell me what I ordered and I will ship it to you in the mail!

Ive had many great experiences at Parma. The menu changes seasonally, but some of the pastas are always on the menu like the pork ragu cavatelli that is absolutely phenomenal. Their gnocchi dishes always stand out as well. I recommend going on Sunday night for Date Night. For $50 you get a bottle of wine and a 3 course meal for two. Its a ridiculously great deal, if you ordered everything a la carte youd spend over $100 easily. The Rice Balls are a real standout and there are always awesome desserts, the butterscotch panna cotta being my favorite. In the summer the patio is a great spot. They serve happy hour out there with great drink and app specials. The ambiance is great with casual seating, fireplaces, lots of plants, and a pool table. They will sell you a cigar from behind the bar or let you bring your own and offer up matches, ashtrays, etc. In the fall they normally do a scotch and cigar event where you can hang out on the patio and get a free cigar and sample free scotch/bourbon. I definitely recommend following them on facebook for events like that. Overall Parma is an awesome place with great drinks, great food, and awesome service.

We went there on a Friday evening for dinner. Friendly, welcoming staff and cozy ambiance. We had the Hawaiian Blue Shrimp appetizer, perfectly cooked but lacked flavor, perhaps not enough sauce? I ordered the signature dish Cavatelli and was disappointed. I liked the noodles and rich tomato sauce but it seemed like it had old pork rib meat in it, not fresh tasting rib meat and reminded us of a hot dish our Grandma would make, which is not what we were seeking at a nice restaurant like Parma8200. My husband had a daily special of pan fried walleye with mushroom risotto and we loved it! Considering the restaurant was not full, our food took a long time to come to our table. Service was attentive and apologized for the delay. Ultimately, we would go back, however there are better Italian Restaurants we would choose first like Bacio or Bar La Grassa.

Immediately from entering the beautiful atmosphere I was greeted with the utmost hospitality. The dinner consisted of a five-course meal; A garlic / cheese bread appetizer, followed by a wonderfully rich and colorful Bruschetta, soon after this came a fantastic Minestrone, then the main dish: Chicken Alla Parmigiana. A gorgeous crispy chicken breast accompanied by an amazingly prepared spaghetti side. To top it all off, an exquisite coffee flavored gelato. I feel as though Im writing this review as a hyperbole, but when I recount my visit I realize that it really is the perfect restaurant. I would like to point out that the image in the Google Places location is very misleading, the actual building is a massive tower, clad with Glass and metal on the interior. This is one of the most professional and sophisticated buildings I have ever seen.

I think I have eaten at most of the great italian restaurants in the area and this food was absolutely amazing. The freshness of the food and ingredients was extremely noticable, I heard the table next to us discussing it as well. Garlic cheese bread is served and is delicious. Other dishes come in the traditional manner as first, seconds and sides. My wife and I got 2 entrees and a side to share and sodas and our meal was under 50 dollars. As for decor the restaurant is on the ground floor of a large commerical building and is very sophisticated and contemporary. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and EXTREMELY friendly. For those in the area I frequent: La Grolla, Pazzaluna, Broders and others this place has the best food bar none.

Sat in dinner eating area and provided dinner menu. The dinner menu lists the happy hour times and drinks. We ordered cocktails from the dinner menu in the dinner eating area - we were then told happy hour cocktails were only available in the bar - yet the bar has a separate happy hour menu. Why have the dinner menu advertise happy hour if they wont accommodate? After the waiter told us this we were approached by the manager who again reiterated what the waiter had told us!? Did we need to be told twice? Attitude was pompous at best. FOOD WAS AWFUL, for what I paid for my steak I should have gone to Ruth Chris and had quality meat. Staff - rude; Food mediocre at best.

My wife and I are regulars at Parma and were lured there by the Mojito sampler promotion on the 4th of July. Management underestimated the response to the promotion and the restaurant was understaffed as a result. However, the staff on hand really hustled and the service was OK (Its usually excellent). I had the halibut and, since Im on a low-carb diet, I asked if the gnocchi side could be replaced with some sort of veggie medley. The kitchen responded with an inspired grilled zucchini/bell pepper medley that complimented the halibut, perfectly. My wife had her favorite dish, the lemon chicken, which was delicious, as usual! We love this place!

We went to Parma for mothers day and I was excited to try something new. The service was wonderful from start to finish, so my review has nothing to do with that. My husband enjoyed his meal and the wine choices were very good and affordable. The rice balls were meh, despite being talked up. My biggest disappointment was the bucatini. Also recommended by our server. It was so salty I couldnt even finish half the meal. I would have said something but I didnt want to make a big fuss as it was very busy. The bread pudding was also okay. I tried my daughters mouse and loved it. I guess it just wasnt my night.
