Got there at 12:35 pm, waited while the only cash register clerk/seating attendant dealt with a walk in that wanted several gift cards. Finally got seated at 12:55 and quickly ordered our drinks, received them, and ordered our meals at the same time. Waited for what seemed like an exceptionally long time without even seeing our waitress anywhere in the dining area. When the meal did arrive, two meals were nice and hot but mine was barely luke warm. My enchilada was COLD on the inside. Finally got the waitress attention (when she finally appeared again) and told her it was cold. She said " ill have them recook it for you" and left.....no apologies, no surprise at the complaint,....nothing!!! I should have just told her forget about it but my wife appealed to my more considerate side so I waited. I should have gone with my first inclination. When the check was brought, she said theyd taken $5.00 off my meal for the inconvenience.!! It was 1:55 before I walked out of there.!! This was my third attempt at this location and all three times, given the benefit of the doubt, theyve let me down all three times. NO MORE. Im done with this location....too bad they closed down the Riverdale location. That place was AWESOME. Maybe its the change of personnel....whatever it was, it want for the better.

Worst service, placed a to go order over the phone - the man who answered started to take my info and order but once I tried to order a second item he "sighed" and apparently handed me over to a woman who had me repeat everything again. Weird but ok. I get there and theres a sign saying "wait to be seated" But no one at the desk, so I wait. And wait. And wait. No one comes so I shift so Im in full view of the staff who are waiting tables and even the kitchen staff can see me and I wait. And wait. And wait. No less the 8 people saw me and a few even made eye contact, not one came up to the front, everyone just walked away and carried on with other business. When I noticed someone was finally going behind the bar ( as I later seen the actual "bartender" was sitting at the bar himself eating and getting himself a drink, meaning goung behind the bar but not tendung it i guess) - I walked up and asked after my food, the man had glasses and was nice and apologetic and genuinely seemed surprised. Did not make up for the situation but still. This was my first visit, and I will not be returning. Ill stick to el loro thank you.

Had the worst experience at this location I always go to the ham lake location and everything is always great. I ordered my favorite seafood chimmichangas and received chicken, sent it back and received chicken again, sent it back and the 3rd one came out and it was one big clip of cold imitation crab. Its supposed to have mahi mahi, scallops and shrimp. I didnt eat it I didnt want to send it back for 4th one. Our server said he told the manager an he said she took $7.00 off your meal!! The manager didnt come by we had to ask her to come to the table cause I wasnt gonna pay anything for my meal. Then the manager asked if we wanted dessert at this point I was upset and didnt want anything else but my daughter said she would take some fried ice cream that never came! I I will never come back to this location!!

Thought the experienced staff from Coon Rapids was moving over to the new Andover location, but it sure didnt seem like it- service was awfully slow (45 min for food to arrive) and our new waiter was super spacey, had to ask for everything two or 3 times even tho he was being "shadowed" by another staff person, food was fair, my sons quesadilla was terrible, no cheese and hard and crunchy- how can you screw up a quesadilla? Had to send it back, then it came back with no guac, lettuce or sour cream- really? Also did not have the same beers as the other ones, that was also disappointing. My parents had the same experience when they visited the next day, the food was not the same quality as Coon Rapids. Ill go back to Ham Lake if I go to Acapulco, and I live in Andover...

Terrible experience for the $$. Our waiter took our order and we never saw him again. We had to get another waitress to hunt him down, no refills on drinks or "how is the meal, can I get you anything?" I called Maria, the manager, the next day to relay my dining experience, could have been a new waiter, " Im going to send you a gift card", which I insisted I was not looking for, she said I would get one anyway, 3 weeks later...no card. Another couple we hang out with told us their wait staff was terrible, none of us will ever go back. Save your money and dine elsewhere, service is terrible and food was slop. I can only imagine good reviews are from staff or family of staff.

I am a frequent visitor of Al Ezteca and have tried Acapulco three times. Every time I leave disatisfied, the food is so bland. I think last time we went there we used half the bottle of the green tabasco to spice it up, and I am not really into spicy food. The service was fine, our waitress was pleasant. The older women who brought our chips and salsa basically threw them on the table without acknowledging us. It will be very interesting to see how the new Ramesy location does versus Al Azteca, which has far superior food but a crappier location. Oh an their "special" cheese sauce, yuck very blah!!!!! We will keep spending our money at their competition.

Have now visited 4 times and will not go back, tonight was the last draw. We were seated and the chips and salsa were served promptly but not any drinks. Nobody came over until about 15 minutes afterward. The waitress was very rude and was not attentive at all. They forgot my sour cream and the guacamole was little to none with my chicken chimichanga. I would not suggest this place at all the wait staff is rude and very slow. We waited another 15 minutes to pay and get out of the place. The last time we were there the fajitas were terrible would not suggest ordering those at all. Will be going downtown Anoka from now on even though its far out of our way.

I went to the Ramsey location once during lunch and ordered take out. They brought me a dinner sized portion about fifteen minutes later. I guess the teenager taking orders didnt know it was lunch time. It then took her another ten minutes to figure out that I should be charged only the lunch price since it was her screw up. On top of all that, the food sucked and I ended up throwing most of it out. Im sticking to El Azteca down the road. Better service, cheaper prices, FAST food delivery (like five minutes or less during lunch), and great tasting food.

Awful service!! The last 2 times I have gone there in the last month it was the worst restaurant experience I had ever had. Wait forever to even get drinks, never could get a second drink, couldnt get to go boxes or check for 20 mins. Constantly switching servers who were short and rude and didnt even wait for you to finish talking before walking away. Lacking customer service skills. I have never in my life had to beg so much just to get my check! Ridiculous. Will never visit this location again
