Ive been a patron to Pickles many times. They have a huge wide variety menu and I will say with some selections outstanding and some not so great. You really cannot judge this place off of just one visit, because I will tell you that it really depends on what you order. From what Ive found, I will say this, they are a deli, and thats what they do best! Outside of the deli selections, Ive found the food to be "o.k." but not above standard. Now for the deli, if you are a fan of the "Rueben" then this is your place. The standard Rueben will either stuff you or end up taking 1/2 of it home! The super Rueben, youll be asking for a take out box! Whenever I am in the area, I make a point to stop at Pickles for a Rueben! The fries are good, but try one with their onion rings which also above par!

The multi-page spiral-bound menu is daunting, but the food is worth the effort. Go ahead a do the research implied by the size of the menu. On the other hand, you could just throw a dart and find a good meal. Our server [Jon] helped us when we were trying to package up the leftovers. I brought the cooler in from the car. He made sure the leftover containers fit the cooler. He even gave us a baggie of ice. This is a level of service that you would think existed, but rarely see. [And, yes, the portions are really large here. Figure on taking some of what you ordered home with you.] We cant wait to go back!

As a former " East Coaster" whos been spoiled by nothing but the best...ie 2nd Ave Deli....Katzs Deli......Carnegie Deli.....I must say that Pickles never disappoints!! Food never disappoints...portions more than adequate...usually take 1/2 the meal home!! Staff is friendly...knowledgeable...they bend over backwards to please!! Portia is an absolute delight who epitomizes the definition of the ultimate Hostess/Manager.... This is a familial atmospheric restaurant.....their menu offers everything from soup to nuts... Go hungry!! Enjoy!! Zei Gesundt!!

I nearly died from a turkey meal delivered by a Mexican. I found a 1 inch sharp piece of wood. Was it deliberate were they trying to make me choke. I also found small bone 1 inch, pointed in my kung pao chicken at Panda Express, and I have found similar bones in my chicken enchiladas from the Alamo. I called and talked to the manager "Porche" she had an accent. She said that she would give replace the turkey meal, but wanted the piece of wood so that she could check with her chef to see what went wrong. I decided to keep the piece wood.

One of the two best deli restaurants in the Conejo Valley. This dinner isnt quite as good as Brents but it is not as expensive either. It is quieter and there is less of a wait but the food just isnt special. But, I do eat here more often than Brents partly because it is cheaper and I do not have to deal with the hotty totty crowd in the more fashionable location.

Good most of the time, but sometimes food is not prepared as ordered. Send food back quickly and they accommodate if it is not right. Eggs are always runny. Ask for over medium hard if you hate runny eggs. I send eggs back to be nuked!!! LOL. Been eating there for many years. The "early bird" specials are good. Excellent coffee. Friendly servers.

Really excellent deli good with large variety and prices a bit much on some things but service is really good its very clean and great for Business network meetings or large groups of friends for a gathering and very clean and nice open airy atmosphere , GREAT FOOD!!

the service was quick and friendly . definitely more of a sit in then a quick to go deli. food had great appeal but definitely did not deliver. I got the philly cheesesteak it was extremely extremely dry. and the food is not cheap. 20 dollars average for a person

Delish comfort food. I love their sandwiches on yummy rye bread. Good burgers, good salads, good breakfast. For the most part the staff is great. Apple pie is beautiful and yummy until the second day. Then it tastes chickeny. That aside, we love to eat here!

The menu selection here is endless! I was pretty surprised with my whole dining experience here...the quality was on par and portion sizes are HUGE! I ordered the tuna salad sandwich And it was probably better then most places. I would definitely come back!

Cozy, friendly neighborhood restaurant and deli with delicious food and an extensive menu. Very reasonable prices and large portions. Breakfast sandwich on a croissant is our favorite! Only thing missing is an outdoor, pet friendly patio!
