The exterior of this establishment is in keeping with the proximity to the off ramp of I-95. The pricing is also on the lower end, but this is no bargain - it is reminiscent of typical hole-in-the-wall Asian eateries. Blue Ginger calls itself Asian Fusion, as they offer Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. Some of the "white meat" in their General Twos chicken seems surprisingly like dark meat. The white meat chicken in their chicken fried rice is bland and tastes boiled and not at all associated with the barely flavored fried rice. The shrimp shumai, while tasty was somewhat mushy. The green salad was almost entirely lettuce. The most refreshing part of the meal was the iced tap water... I wont be returning.

I ordered food for delivery from this place yesterday and, at that time, was informed they had a $20 minimum. I ordered food for just above that amount. 30 minutes later - right before they were supposed to deliver - I get a call saying I needed to spend another $10 or else they would not deliver. That is called a classic bait-n-switch! Its also fraudulent. Needless to say I will be telling everyone in the area about this, and I know a ton of people. To the Manager that was working on the night August 24, I hope you and your boss read this. In this market, you cannot treat people in this manner and expect to remain in business.

Went there for dinner with friends and discovered that its under new management. The new owner, Janet, is a very friendly lady who used to own a Chinese restaurant in Greenwich,Conn. I have been eating sashimi for many years and this restaurant uses good quality,fresh fish for its sashimi. I love the sushi rolls, they are so delicious. Taiwaness beef stew noodles are very tasty,just like back home. I like the idea that this restaurant has Chinese, Japaness,Thai,and Vietnamess food all under one roof. There are a lot of great dishes and prices are very reasonable. I will definitely recommond this restaurant to my friends.

Horrible service ordered through delivery and had a bad experience. Order was around $40-$50 bucks and wanted to swap out the brown rice for fried rice which we paid an extra fee for. Not only did they want to charge us $7 for the order of fried rice but the manager hung up on us. Then when we call back to make sure she didnt charge my card she tells me to cancel from delivery and order directly through them. NO!!!! When I asked how much would it be the price jumped and extra $10 "for delivery" I live right off of shippan. No thanks never again.

Blue Ginger just re-opened on July 7th and is under new ownership, apparently the owners have been in the restaurant business for almost 30 years. Word must have gotten out because there was already a large crowd on the opening night. Decor has been updated, and looks very SOHO-esque, new waitstaff and new menu items. I had sushi and it was fresh, delicious and delivered very quickly. The owners said they are still ironing out a few of the details and trying new menu items and specials -- but as the Terminator said, "Ill be back!!!"

Now our Friday night spot. I just wanted to state my wife and I have made this place our regular Friday night dinner. Orange Beef being our top choice, Crispy Prawns (jumbo shrimp) w Honey Walnuts, Big Bowl Noodles Soup (beef stew), Ginger Glaze Sauce Shrimp to name a few. Special Rolls,Dynamite Rolls, Dinasour Roll & Volcano Roll are favorites as well. Service is great, atmosphere is relaxing over all a good choice.

Best Chinese food that I have found in the Fairfield/, Westchester County area. Food is made fresh without MSG. Sushi is fresh and there are many traditional Chinese noodle and curry dishes available. Parking in the back with entrance from the parking lot. Lunchtime specials are inexpensive for the area. Highly recommended.

Blue Ginger used to be located in the Cove. Its the same owners they have just found a new home which is very conveniently located on E Main St. Their food has always been good and on my recent visit, I was not disappointed. Just as tasty as I remember. So glad that this place is back.

Got delivery, great food stood up well to being delivered. But the guy who brought the delivery DEMANDED a tip before I even had the chance to get my door completely open. And with how long it took to deliver there shouldnt have even been a thought to demand a tip.

Its a pretty good place with pretty good food. What makes this really great tho is that on the phone the order was messed up and we were charged for 3 extra servings. We explained it to them and they kindly took it back. I would recommend this place.

Went there for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. Found the place packed with people eating the Taiwanese beef noodles in soup so I decided to try it - it was great! Definitely will be back for this yummy dish.

We were drawn in by the website...BIG MISTAKE. The chicken was soggy and tasted old. It was extremely expensive for such poor quality. The only good thing about this place was the delivery girl had a great voice. STAY AWAY.

Surprisingly memorable! A hidden gem. Neat, comfy, nice staff, varied the menu choice, delicious food with large helpings. My husband couldnt believe our order arrived so quickly. We will definitely be returning.

The delivery service is horrible and the main owner lady has a really really bad attitude. The Chinese food is ok, but thats more of a testament to how bad the Stamford area Chinese food is than anything else.
