Considering the positive reviews we wanted to give this place a try hoping it would be good. We were all excited and super hungry as we were returning from Orlando. We decided to carry out. ordered for Veg Biryani, Avakai veg biryani which the menu said was their special, gongura mutton and bagara baigan. In one word if i have to describe about the food I would say Horrible. The biryanis were nothing close to what I had at the average rated restaurants around the area. They named avakai but in regular veg biryani they mixed the mango pickle which smelled stale from the stink of the oil used to preserve the pickle. must have been brought from the store. Even if brought from the store, I had avakai biryani in Hyderabad which is my home town and for sure know how it tastes. The veg biryani contained a lot of raw masalas. None of us could even eat it after the first few bites. The eggplant, is even worse. There was no eggplant seen in the dish. The gravy they served in was very blend with no spices or salt in it. The gongura mutton had a lot of oil and the meat smelled very bad. Had very little of that food as we were hungry but got sick the next day. Diarrhea!!! All I can say that the place was new with confused wait staff. No one had any idea what they were doing. Noticed while I was waiting on my food. Definitely not going back and wont recommend to anyone. Money wasted on tasteless food.

This place already appears to bite more than what it can chew! We called ahead on 11/24 at about 8.00 p.m yeah Thanksgiving and were told as long as we are there by 9.30 they can accommodate us. As a practice we got there by 9.15 but there was nobody at reception I can understand it being Thanksgiving, then later at 9.30 a waiter walks by to switch off open sign and tells us the restaurant is closed, when questioned why did they tell us they can seat is if they had plans to close really stupid response was chefs want to go home early! There were 5 families like us waiting, after much deliberation we decided to stop arguing and walk away add there was another restaurant downtown more than happy to seat us. Although a guy with a beard did offer to seat us we lost faith in them and their capability to serve us a decent meal I hope their management reads this and takes corrective action otherwise you might want to start preparing for a shutdown Im writing this bcoz food is good but they appear to be head down the same spiral as many startups do

Here is my experiences with respect to the Bawarchi. Experience 1: The restaurant was newly opened, I visited with the family. Medium spicy feed was as spicy that kids could not eat even one bite. Experience 2: Ordered online, paid online, reached to them and they said order was not received. When I showed them the receipt they started to prepare food. The quantity of food was almost half of what they serve in store. Food quality was not at all up to restaurant quality. Experience 3: Ordered online, reached to them and the food was ready. The food was substandard, insufficient. Avoiding giving 1 star as management is excellent, the service in store is almost up to the excellence. If I was rating based on food and worth of my money, I would have looked for something less than 1 star.

Stay away from this Biryani point. I order biryani here assuming that i will get same Bawarchi Franchise (Original one which is in HYD, India) but not this stupid restaurant. I should say that it is not at all a biryani first of all. When i ate 1st spoon only i figured out that i was deceived. Guys never ever go to this Restaurant. Restaurant Owner and the Receptionist dont know how to greet and treat customers. I dont know why these stupid people run a business like this and defame Indias name and prestige of food. Arey o howley owner ga, biryani tho side ki iche daanini Gravy/Shorva antaru anthe kaani Salad anaru.. Ae oori nundi vastarra agesukoni..

initially i liked it very much ! down the line their quality is not up to the mark . quality and freshness of the food is not good ! tough its very nearer to my place i am not interested in it . update: last weekend we ordered Country Chicken from this place i dont even dare to taste it after opening the box ! got very bad smell food was staled. for management : maintain some decency at billing dont eagerly look at paying machine while we are selecting the TIPS % and please share those TIPS with workers ,its shame on you guys for taking workers tips . first place management people have lot of attitude , no professionalism , they dont have manners !

The menu had a pretty good diversity of choices, the food was delicious and seemed fairly authentic and the prices are reasonable. Not a lot of tables. However, there are no fountain drinks, the water bottles on the table (already there when you sit) seem a bit questionable and the wait staff did not come around that often (kitchen staff was fast). Even the non spicy food has a bit of a bite (the way Indian food should be), so if you do not like spicy food be sure to state that up front (somewhat defeats part of the point, though). Most of the customers were Indian, which lends credibility to the place and will probably keep them honest in the kitchen.

Went many (around 25-30 which includes almost all Indian restaurants in tampa) restaurants in USA..This is first time I saw that if you are group of 6 and above you wil be charged 18% on total amount which is ridiculous,they said its already mentioned in menu and all restaurants will charged this which I never faced,also they dont have any name for that,one person said service charge other guy said gratituty and they just bring food to table that too not in order wise and everything we have to remind and Served ourself...coming to food idli is microwave heated and all rice items are cold..Gobi manchurian reminded tennis and golf balls in size...

We order first time from Bawarchi biryani Brandon hyderabadi goat curry dish 2 naan 1 raita online mobile delivery. when food was arrive there was no raita at all instead there was rice naan was ok quality curry dish was insanely spicy and very less amount goat. well we had to throw it. Im an Indian an when I was eating water was coming from my eyes.. I call restaurant and men said we should have choose option lesss spicy and I told him there was no option to choose. and what about my raita so he said that boy who pack my food it not there he will ask him call me about an hour, but no one call me yet over a week pass.

Beware if you are ordering Biryani and cant eat extra hot. We first ate their Biryani in an Indian party and it so hot that most of the people couldnt eat much. It was my mistake to try it again. My office people wanted to eat Biryani and I specifically asked them to make it mild, and not like last time. But again it was so hot that most of the food got wasted with our office people not able to eat much. The only reason I am still giving two stars because we ate their regular curries in the party and it was really very nice.
