Calm but casual atmosphere and good quality meat Lunch special was $18.95 per person for all you can eat Staff/service was good, the waiter did not fill up water frequently, but it wasnt that much of a problem I havent been to any other all you can eat restaurants, but this one in specific asked before bringing out more food (I would think this would happen everywhere but Im not sure) You will get charged if you leave leftover meat I would recommend the thinly sliced pork belly and the prime brisket I would not recommend getting chicken because it is difficult to cook and the raw chicken contaminates the tongs (the chicken was still fantastic, if youre up to a cooking challenge, go ahead) I would not recommend eating rice until the end of the meal because it fills you up Overall: 11.5/12

I moved to Medford 6 weeks ago and have now been there a total of 3 times. The food is great. The vegetables and kimchi are fresh, and the meats are of good quality (mind you would not eat raw meat here). Also, the different marinades found on an array of meats are excellent. The service is top notch. The host, Jay makes sure you are happy with your good and service. If you ask him, he will be more than happy to show you how to properly prepare your food with the standard side fare. Additionally they serve alcohol including Korean beers and Saki. Their nonalcoholic beverages include sodas and Green Tea. My one disappointment is their lack of non-caffeinated drinks that do not contain sugar. Nevertheless, I believe I will survive, and will surely be going back to Sura BBQ.

So we go there to taste the Korean BBQ. Asked for a Combo All you can eat for 2 people. Guess what? Its not all you can eat lol Pretty deceiving. Like in the review of another person, a waitress came and didnt explain anything. They set up a Gas cook top on our table, the waitress cut the steak ive chosen with scissors and put ALL the meat we asked to fry at the same time. Most of the meat burned and we were just confused. Because the gas cooking top was improvised, with was standing high on the table, so as the food got hot ive burnt my arm with spills. Thats what I get from betraying hotpot lol Not eating that this place again.

Went in and got menu items since their all-you-can-eat BBQ was too pricey for me that night. They served us some sides, and didnt explain what any of them were, including some sauces. Then, while we were munching on the sides, they came back and took our orders, and whisked away the sauces with no explanation. My miso soup went to my dining partner instead of me, which I didnt realize until they brought out the entrees and got us confused. The food was fine, I got a sizzling plate, but nothing amazing with the flavors. Food is okay, service is kind of slow and strange with little explanation, not sure Ill be back.

I have only been here a handful of times but the man that I assume owns this location always remembers me. And not how sometimes people just act like they remember you. He always tries his best to make sure you are enjoying yourself. This most recent time he made it a point to send myself and my BBQ partner to the brand new grill table so he could show it off and get our opinions on it. He was so excited and I appreciated getting to try it out. I also like that he is trying to make the place the best he can. I hope to be able to keep visiting for a long time.

Food was good and they deserve more stars until one of the waitress (she didnt serve us) stopped us as we were already outside of the restaurant and said "This is not enough tip, usually people tip more. This time okay but next time it wont be." First of all we had to hunt down our waiter/waitress to ask for more food. Second, my party and I understand waiters/waitress rely on tips but isnt it our choice, the customers, of how much tip to give? That was not professional in any way.

Went there for the first time with my family for Mothers Day and no one explained how the restaurant worked. The waitress rushed us despite it not being busy. No one explained what food they were putting down on the table. No sauces, food was bland. To top it all off, another waitress came by twice to tell us to sign the check when we werent even done with our meal. For a $150 meal, Im never going back there again.

Okay, here is the truth. I have been sura customer since 2010, and have eaten at Johnston area, Providence Area and now at Medford area. All these shops are owned by same person and they both have same quality of food. Cheap but excellent. I recommend for their consistency of excellence. You know exactly what to expect and they will deliver it. Definitely try them out.

Pretty much the only AYCE kbbq place in the state, great for big groups and the food is great. When there isnt a lot of people they frequently change out the grill. The service is pretty good and they help you cook/cut the meats for you. Overall when the family is in the mood for some kbbq we will come here to satisfy our craving for kbbq.

Sura is a god sent. Before it was Sura it was a regular Korean BBQ that charged 60% more than Sura. Now it is an affordable Korean BBQ that is a great place to eat and drink. The order wait staff are amazing but some of the younger stuff seem depress (probably because they are under paid). Highly recommended.

Great food and excellent service. The waiters and waitresses were quick to refill our water, check in our table and help us cook the meats. Food was excellent, well marinated and lots of options. We definitely got our moneys worth of BBQ meats.

This is a typical in-table grill BBQ place. The service was pleasant and unobtrusive; they bring out all the sliced meat and vegetables after you order, and then they will work the grill for you (or leave you alone) as you desire.

There is a reason why this place is never busy even on a Friday night. The quality of the meats they give you is awful. I know its AYCE but, having been to AYCE places in NY and LA, this place has to be the worst one Ive been to.

They dont offer a lot of small plates like most other Korean restaurants do. Id say the meat quality is about average. But for all you can eat, I cant complain. Ive been here twice and service has been pretty good both times.

We went for the combo (instead of the all you can eat buffet) and there was a huge amount of food for a very great price. The experiencing of BBQing was also fun. Staff was friendly. Will definitely eat there again.

Good place to eat a lot of food for a reasonable price. The LA short ribs are my favorite. Expect to smell like a barbeque after you leave though.

All you can eat Korean BBQ. Service is well. Atmosphere isnt pleasant, but food is great. Little language barrier, but didnt ruin the service.
