I have ordered from this place a few times now. Each time, the food was bland. I thought maybe it was the stuff I ordered, but I tried about 8 different dishes and they were all just average. Its not nasty but its not "good" Chinese food. However, the rating goes for their horrible attitude and service. While I was waiting for my order, I took some hot pepper inside some containers, which they allow for all their customers. Well, as I took some, one of the workers was peering through the window staring at me. She then began to complain to another co-worker that I was taking too much pepper. Well, I went up and asked if she had a problem. The girl who takes the order preceeded to say, "Oh no. She says go ahead." After their multiple denials, they said Im taking too much pepper. Okay. I asked for their owners number. They said, "Oh, you can call. But she wont answer you. We dont care." I was blown away! Well, I asked for a refund and told them I will never go there again. The cashier, "Oh. Thats fine. Were going to be okay. We dont need you." So, never again. I dont mind bland food. But bad attitudes I got a problem with.

I have been patronizing Royal Chopstix since 2006. Being from Missouri we have some great Chinese food!!! Royal Chopstix is the closes I have come to recieiving some good eats for Chinese food in Texas. My food is cooked fresh and hot each time. Customer service is always #1. Somewhat pricey, but everything has increased especially in Texas. The facility is always clean and it is always packed with customers when I go during lunch. The only thing I have eaten that was not good were the fried wings, which I nevered order again. I also drive from MidCities to eat here (Irving location only). Although I have read the negative reviews, I hope these were isolated issues and maybe mis-communication on both parts in either case.

Great Food! Never too oily or salty, and not full of MSG. Not stingy with fresh vegetables either. They KNOW how to make spicy... you just have to ask for it! My boyfriend and I have been eating there for years. Were pepperbellies, and our favorite dish to order is beef fried rice, extra spicy, with tofu and beansprouts...it will NOT disappoint! Also like the eggplant and the homestyle tofu dishes too, even though those are vegetarian. We recently moved to Euless and still travel all the way to Irving to eat this food! This is some of the best chinese food in DFW, especially for the price!

Its OK. Its basicly Chinese food fast. The McDonalds of Chinese. Its over Americanized and often the cuts of meat used are questionable. Not in the source but just quality. Beef is often tough. Chicken is stringy. The flavors are off too. Like maybe oil thats being used to fry everything in, or perhaps its just being used at too high a temp just old. Egg drop soup and fried dumplings are on point here, but for better dinner food, main dishes, and taste spend an extra $6. 00 and go to Fortune House instead. Its down the street on MacAuthur Park.

Today was my first time going to Royal Chopstix in Irving. I will NEVER go back! I found a bug in my food, I called to tell them (Im at work, cant go back). I let them know what was going on. I was told by the young man he would call me back with a resolution. He calls back and tells me I can bring the food back and get refunded or I can get an in store credit. Why would I keep the food if it had a bug in it and its an hour later? And why would I want an instore credit? My job is down the street they should have brought me new food or refunded me! Period!

Extremely horrible, I buy food here literary everyday but today a lady who claimed to be the boss was very RACIAL to me, told me to my face" she doesnt cakre how I felt" when I told her I feel shes been rude to me. This just happened today Saturday 1.50pm. 05-28-2016. Management and franchise executives should look into this before I consider pressing severe legal charges because I have never been humiliated this way in my whole life.

I guess its all relative.. I moved here from the east coast where you trip over GOOD Chinese takeout. I checked out this place because I had an unsatisfied craving for GOOD Chinese. I was beyond a let down!!.. Just bad, flavorless and the chicken was dry and tasted old .. And it has good reviews which leads me to believe that Texas has never had any good Chinese food.. This is NOT how Chinese take out is done right.. Bleh!

The food was as decent as what youd expect at an inexpensive Chinese restaurant, but the lady taking our orders was rather rude and abrasive, telling us "no, cant do that" at almost every combo request. She was also rather condescending when I accidentally took the wrong order when there were multiple trays lined up on the counter for DIY pickup. Youd be better off going elsewhere.

The prices online didnt match facility. The chicken wings were gross, they had absolutely no taste and the breading was thick. The rice was good, but when I opened it, there was enough to feel up one compartment. Pretty expensive for the minimal received and taste. Oh and not to mention the heres your receipt have a seat...rude. wont go back!

I eat here all the time. I am strickly a Lo-Mein person no matter where I eat. And very particular about how its cooked as well. Never had any issues here with the flavor or the quantity of the meal. Although the price went up a dollar since they moved to the new location. In comparison this place is much better than the dragon express.

We drive from Flower Mound to get this Chinese food because my wife loves their sweet and sour chicken. I like the General Tsos (which is called Royal Chicken here). Each meal is around $6-7 and can easily last for 2 meals. The people are also very nice here. My only complaint is the egg rolls are just average.

first time eating there today, what can i say? hmmm. I cant say anything negative. Very delicious. Comparable to Pei Wei (if not tastier) but the price is a lot less. Kind of like gourmet chinese food and not one of those wok-in chinese take out..... but again so cheap. Friendly staff!
