We went here for my friends birthday. Its a cute place. They have a California flag with a cow on it instead of a bear, funny. I thought the food was good. Between the three of us, we had pulled pork, brisket, baby back ribs, hot links and chicken. The smoke level, for me, was right, you could taste the smoke and the food. They have a happy hour that I would like to come back for since there are items that are not available on the regular menu that I would like to try like pigs in a blanket.

Excellent BBQ. Had this place a few times. Normally get the BBQ plate #2 w/ House Brisket & Tri-tip. The brisket & tri-tip are both smoked so well and very tender. I like the sauces they have as well, I prefer the spicy bbq sauce they have. The sides are pretty good too, I typically get the potato salad and greens. Very filling and flavorful. 5 stars for sure, try it!

Its okay, but I wouldnt want to go again. Got the 3 meat combo: pulled pork, brisket, and tri-tip. Brisket was pretty dry, tri-tip not that great, pulled pork was good but salty. I think their sandwiches are better. Baked beans are good. Overall neither quality nor quantity justified their price. Service is as good as you can expect for a pay first joint.

Need BBQ? Live in an apartment? Go to Holy Cow. Pretty solid BBQ, but the staff and beer list push them to 5 stars. Good selection of items, and while a touch pricey, a better deal than some competing spots. Service is great, if a touch doting at times. Great for take out, too. Park on the roof or behind the gym if you can.

The service and the food is good when the place is not busy.. I had been there when is slow and the food and service are great but once its Prime time and the place gets busy its a different story. Sometimes they bring you the food cold and the service is horrible once the place gets busy.

I have had top BBQ in Memphis, Kansas City, Austin TX and the backwoods of South Carolina, so when I say Holy Cow BBQ is up there with the best of them, I know what I am saying! Its all good, but if you have to choose, try the baby backs and the brisket, and you must have the cornbread.

More of a bar than sit-down restaurant, unlike the friendly Brentwood location. But again with the "Im taking your order over the counter; I want a tip." The succulent, flavor-filled brisket is worth it; so is the free lot parking. 1/2 lb of brisket for $13 served 4.

The perfect place to order meat by the pound. Satisfy your barbeque craving with all of the fixings, and a variety of sauces. Has a very spacious feeling to it. What was ordered: brisket, pulled pork, tri-tip, cornbread, Mac and cheese

Surroundings and staff were great. The BBQ wasnt the best Ive ever had. If you want authentic mexican food you dont go to chiptole right? no. If you want authentic BBQ, get out of Cali and go to Tennessee!
