This place has a lot of great reviews on Grubhub, so I had really high hopes that this would be my go-to breakfast place. I was beyond disappointed!
The good: they have a digital way of placing an order.
The bad: the estimated pick up times suck, and they dont prepare the order the way you indicate in the order.
The ugly: I watched the woman who readies the order for pick up touch: paperbags, a carton, several receipts, a stapler, her clothes, and the countertop ... all before putting her hands on a bagel (putting cream cheese on it and cutting it, and Im not talking fingertips).
Bonus 1: I LOVE waiting 30 minutes to get over easy eggs, soggy toast, and canned corned beef hash without the crispy crust top- especially when I ordered "over medium" and specifically asked for the corned beef hash to be cooked well done so its crispy.
but hey... to get over medium and the crispy top on corned beef hash, its supposed to take over 30 minutes, right?

Woman: 2 minutes
Me: Ok, bc Ive watched several orders go out before mine.
Man: Do you have a menu
Woman 2: Grubhub JUST sent this to us.
Me thinking to myself: yeah, 25 minutes ago.
Me outloud: No. Grubhub is the reason I even knew about this place. If you cant handle a Grubhub order that got me here, why would I come back? AND...What Im grossed out about is Woman 1 touching stuff.
Man: but maam, shes not touching food.
Me: YES, SHE IS.
Man: no, she isnt.
Me: I WATCHED HER touch

I have been working in Union for over 21 years and like to support the local businesses. I stopped ordering from here years ago since the food wasn’t great and the service on the phone was just rude. After a few years of banning this place I decided to try them again. The first time I ordered lunch and my order was wrong and it arrived cold. The second time my order was wrong again. Now the third time was really my fault for trying them out again. But of course my order was incomplete and COLD! It was also thrown in a box with the butter, napkins and utensils rolling around at the bottom of a frozen potato box and lord knows what was in that box before it got to me. You could have at least but these items in a bag. Save yourself the aggravation and find another place to order from.

The waitress that was black with the long weave was horrible she got my friends order wrong which is not good service at all and she was so slow which even made it worse maybe you guys need to talk to her on listening to customers orders and trying to be a little bit more quicker is not like the place was that crowded other than that my food was pretty good my friend did not enjoy his because she messed his order up so glad I give you three stars my food was actually pretty good I had this soup

As the name suggest its a cozy corner deli. When you walk in you can tell that this deli goes way back. Lots of pictures and other things hung on the wall which gives this feeling of this place has history. The food tastes amazing! Their Turkey Clubs remind of M & H Deli another good deli that I thought had the best Turkey Clubs in Union, but Id say they are pretty even on that.

Phil the manager remembers everything Ive ever eaten. And when I need to grab something quick at 6:00 a.m. the Cozy offers consistent good quality breakfast, great coffee to stay or to go. These days Phil is often the first person who talks to me; good food, friendly conversation. Starting my day at Cozy makes my day better.

used to like this place but when u order off their menu its not what you will receive. just like the owner told me they use whatever bread they feel like. but still charge extra for a panini even though they send you regular bread. I guess thats how they do business. good luck

Please toss that batch of macaroni salad it has 18-19 on the bottom of it. The saltiest ever! I had to toss back 2 blood pressure pills after one fork full.
