Garbage. Only go for take out because its close. NO MORE. Went to pick up an order and saw they had a special with more shrimp for a little more money. When I asked they said "I" should have inquired about any specials when placing the order. 1) They should have mentioned the special when I ordered. 2) They should have offered to add to the platter for the price difference when I pointed it out. They only made light of it. Then at home I find small 31-35s size shrimp. Back in the day they were 21-25s, a tiny potatoe the size of a tennis ball and a salad that is nothing special. Reminded of why I quite diningp-in years ago. I found a scouring pad in the gumbo and the manager wouldnt even come out of the kitchen. Service has ALWAYS left something to be desired. Need to train, train, TRAIN your wait staff. NEVER again for this joke. Ill drive a little farther for a decent meal.

The seafood is generally of good quality and I have been a regular customer for a long time. However, I recently took out of town guests there for dinner and they ordered a couple of glasses of house Chardonnay with their dinner. I was shocked to be charged $10 per glass on the bill. I questioned if there were a mistake and was told that was their price. Its a dinky little cheap glass of wine for gods sake, not a fine dining glass of wine. I WONT BE GOING BACK EVER AGAIN

Food here is always good.. I love their steamed vegetables and fried rice platters. The baked meals are good but fried is the way to go at baytown seafood I also like how they give you uniqe choices like fried aligaotrm calamari or frogs legs. Id reccomend getting their chicken fried rice, frid cafish.. oh and their egg rolls are amazing! Service is great 90% of the time also. Id recoomend this restaurant to family and friends.

Well cooked seafood; I had the grilled flounder and shrimp, with a baked potato and steamed vegetables and a small side salad. My spouse had Cajun boiled shrimp, which is quite spicy, and exactly to his taste. His cole slaw was great, and his seasoned rice was delicious. Generous portions, and great service. We were seated immediately, and our server checked on us frequently. Highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back.

Went for dinner and got the blackened red snapper with craw fish etouffee, steamed vegetables, and fries. Service was great. Steamed vegetables were mostly cooked correctly and seasoned well. The fish was over cooked but fresh and the etouffee was a little gamy and only had 4 tails in it. All in all ill go back and give them another try since the portion to price ratio was generous.

I started with calama, it was ok. Then I got the shrimp and scallops combo plate. Had a couple scallops, went to have some shrimp and could not believe that they all had been peeled but not deveined! These shrimp had the biggest and blackest line of crap running down them. If you take the time to peel them why not CLEAN them too! Absolutely GROSS!!! I dent them back.

I was very disappointed we had to call her way through several times then she would tell her she would return with the item she didnt have to call her back again then they had a 15% gratuity I dont mind cooking when the service is good and even next year when theyre excellent but I did not appreciate the said service and then being charged for it

Extremely unprofessional. Bad service. Never got a chance to taste the food. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes and no one even asked us what we wanted to drink. Then two people showed up and sat behind us and they were immediately served. We got up and walked out. Will never go back again and will never recommend it to anyone.

Amazing seafood and clam chowder. I was hesitant at first because of the few negative reviews but decided to give it a try and Im glad I did! I ordered the clam chowder and grilled mahi mahi. It was by far one of the best tasting dinners Ive had in a while. Be sure to try this place out!

We love, love, love this place. My husband and I drive to Victoria every so often to visit our son for the weekend. We always eat at Baytown at least once during our visit. The food is fresh, inexpensive, and the service is always wonderful. Cant wait for our next trip! !!!!

Excellent food, very clean, & wonderful service!! Dont be fooled by the bad reviews. The food was delicious and the special sauce is to die for. Anytime Im back in town I will be sure to drop by, even if its just to say a quick hello to the server. She was amazing!!!

First time to visit this restaurant. I had the catfish poboy. The fish was great and after getting the sandwich put together it was also good. My only issue is I had to put together my own sandwich. The service was good and they were fast.

The fried Shrimp were excellent. The portions were large and the price was very good. We had a party of 15 and our waitress was very good. She kept our glasses full and was there when we needed anything. We will be going back soon.

The fish, shrimp and chips were all excellent. Dont get the crab cakes: theyre full of filler, burnt and and not very good. Building showing age, needs remodeling badly, but still worth a stop.
