We picked up food and ended up with a lot of meat. The Texas Size Combo was more than enough meat for the two of us. Share if you can because leftover BBQ just doesnt taste good. We picked the Ribs, Pulled Pork and Trip Tip Ribs - 3 stars Plenty of meat but I did feel like we got too many tough parts though. They threw in an end piece just because but it was kind of inedible. Meat was tender and plentiful. Tri Tip - 4 stars Probably our favorite meat out of the pack. Tender and not drenched in bbq sauce. Meat wasnt tough or dry, by far my favorite. Pulled Pork - 2 stars It was hard to tell if you were grabbing meat or fat till you took a bite and the fat melted in your mouth, yuck. It was drenched in sauce which made picking out the fat difficult. Macaroni - 4 stars Not a huge fan of mac n cheese in general but theirs was definitely worth checking out. It was flavorful and soft. Potato Salad - 2 stars Left something to be desired like more sauce. Overall, I would probably order again considering its close and quick.

This place is a RIP-OFF spot. They actually deliberately scam take out customers. They have Combo plates (2 entrees 2 sides) and "Texas Size Combos", also 2 entrees 2 sides, but a larger portion. If you order takeout, they give you the smaller portion and hope you dont notice until you get home. They do it without fail. Even if they were honest, its vastly over-priced for average BBQ and any other place gives you twice as much for the that price. People just like it because theres no really good authentic place in that area (besides maybe Uncle Andres) and they want it to be more than it is. I would stay away.

Decent food when available. Sometimes they run out of an item on the menu, which can get annoying with substitutes. Service is so so. My first couple of times there, a girl was behind the counter and great service. After that it was a series of dudes that do a disappearing act when you gotta order. They tell you give em a sec and walk away never to be seen again,(a new guy shows up). Happened a couple of times, nobody manning the counter at all. Tried calling ahead for a pick up 4pm and promptly put on hold. Tip: if they dont check on you after 5 minutes they probably forgot about you and went on break.

As if you dont already know about the awesome coffee here. Some folks may my know that this location is the ultimate hole-in-a-wall spot. The coffee bar reminds me of approaching a small family run shop on the ground floor of someones house, but they keep it professional. Youll find joggers with their dogs queued up handsomely alongside hipsters on fixies and the rare urban family somehow finding the play space to raise a child in the city.

I am not usually one to submit reviews but this is a delicious exception. First, their Mac & Cheese is awesome! Cheesy, creamy goodness w/ a special signature touch that is worth a second helping! My buddy had the Pulled Pork and I, a chicken leg. Again, DELICIOUS! This partnership of The New Pats & Texas Best BBQ is a match made to last!

A welcome addition to the SFV, Texas Best serves up smoky BBQ in a small operation next door to a bar. They even have a pick-up window between the two joints. Having been there a handful of times, my favorite menu items are the brisket, mac & cheese, and pork ribs. Dont forget to try their BBQ sauce as well!

I was recommended by a friend of mine to check it out. The guys working there are the best since it was our first time they gave us hefty portions than usual. I would definitely recommend their mac & cheese, the tri-tip and their coleslaw.

Preboiled presliced meat, NOT bbq, just squirted with some low grade brand of bbq sauce, then given a high dollar price. They probably stay in business because of the buzzed peeps at the bar dont notice i guess. Seriously bad food

Sorry. Pulled pork seamed steamed? No bark from smoke and no seasoning. Ribs were pretty good, trip tip was bland but nicely cooked. Corn bread tasted like vanilla cupcakes..? If this is good BBQ my name is Donald trump.

Really good BBQ. Im from Tyler, Texas and approve! The only downside, the store is pretty small and is right next to a bar. So it does not have a family atmosphere (if you are looking for that). But overall great food!

Great place for BBQ! Stumbled upon this small joint and Im very happy i found it. I had the pulled pork sandwich combo and it was delicious! Mac and cheese and corn bread was great too. Will definitely be back :)
