The staff was very rude. Ordered a drink, five minutes later they saw I wasnt drinking it and I said the drink tasted alright, but not what I was expecting. I was going to finish the drink and pay for it, but the waitress took it away and said she would switch out the drink (I didnt tell her to). Then the manager comes over to talk to us. I couldnt understand what he was saying, but he made a big deal about me "not liking" the drink and "wanting it to be brought back". I had no intention to give it back and I would have happily paid for it. He did take the drink off the order, but after a long lecture in front of a crowd that made my wife upset and almost cry. We felt uncomfortable throughout our meal and the staff continued to stare at us until we left. The food was good, but I couldnt enjoy it because of a situation I did not even cause. I was also received a rude comment when we walked out of the restaurant by the same manager. If you want a nice sit down restaurant where you can enjoy yourself this is not the place to go.

Stuff did not speak English, due to that, failed to perform any kind of a relevant service. Oh well, I thought, it is ok, hibachi place I thought, authenticity... I was nice to ladies serving us nevertheless. Id give it 3-4 stars until the owner interrupted my late lunch and said that I either have to get a drink or pay a different, higher price on my food (I do not drink alcohol or soda, so they failed to provide me with anything I can actually drink). The waiter conveniently did not mention anything about it when I was ordering 4 plates of food (I was hungry and did not notice a remark about it on the menu). I tried to order a drink I wanted it, after a 3 minute conversation we figured out that they dont have it. After that servant failed to let me know about food prices, after that owner rudely interrupted my lunch, and was so far less than nice. Well, you cheap dude, youve got your $3 and a 1 star review. Congrats!

We consistently are given the wrong food even though the online order is attached to the bag. Ordered a chicken noodle dish with "no vegetables" and my fiancé didnt realize till he got home (20 min later) that they gave us the vegetable noodle dish. Are you kidding? He had to drive back (another 20 min) and the manager made an excuse that in Japan they "read it backwards" so it gets mixed up: chicken with no vegetables = vegetables with no chicken! Unbelievable. If its not busy, the staff arent there when you walk in and the manager is outside smoking. When he walks in all you smell is cigarettes. Not to mention all the times Ive waited over 20 minutes past the pick up time for my order. Its a shame, the food has always been great but Im done with them. Got cash back for the mix up and they were apologetic but how many times can you screw up? Check your order before you leave.

Good food but last time i was here i ordered a tiger roll, a spicy scallop roll and a spicy yellowtail roll. They gave me 2 scallop rolls. She even said heres the tiger roll and 2 scallop rolls. I thought i misheard her so i started eating. Yeah it was 2 scallop rolls. I didnt see her for 15 minutes even though there was no one on the sushi side. When i told her what happened she said no thats a yellowtail roll. Theyre very similar. No theyre not. So i got charged more for their mistake. Not ok.

Just went there today, I went to the hibachi, the place is BY FAR the cleanest, friendliest, very friendliest place I have ever happened to have the privilege of visiting, Ive been to very many hibachi grills & they are in a hurry to get you done & out, but here you are treated as though you are a guest welcomed over to eat with family and you are very Comfortable and happy, you CERTAINLY get enough food fire your money and it is SOOOOO fresh & delicious

Excellent restaurant - the food is very good, especially the bento boxes. They also have an excellent hibachi area and lunch specials. There certainly are no shortage of Chinese / Asian Fusion restaurants in this area - Asian Bistro, the newly-opened Harvest House on Hawley Lane, Hunan Pan, Main Hing, Red Lotus, etc. Wild Kanji hits the right chord between price, service and food quality - and its a regular go-to. Just DONT FEED THE FISH!

All the hibachi places need to get a new act for people that have been there more than twice, it gets really stupid after 4 times. Anyway, the food was really good, scorpion bowl made it better. Hibachi can get expensive, I believe it was 28 dollars for fillet minion hibachi × 2, and 2 kids, scorpion bowl, and sodas, your spending $100.00 +.

Probably one of my favorites in this area. I liked the Bento box for lunch. it has a very good price and the food was fantastic. My favorite is the shrimp teriyaki with brown rice, but in general the food is great.

Except for the lunch menu it seems overpriced. The food is decent, the service often times isnt very helpful or attentive and sometimes youll get someone with a bigger language barrier than can be overcome.

They are very kind. They use fresh ingredients and their food tastes real good. They have a koi pond and small waterfall which makes for a very relaxing atmosphere as you walk in.
