In will not! be back. Tried this place after the buzz of the food being good. I had previously tried some from a friend and I liked it. I ordered 3 fish and shrimp with mac and cheese. I waited because its fried fresh then i asked how much, the cashier said $42, i said what? She said $42. I reluctantly paid with my card. Got home and was highly disappointed to find overcooked underseasoned mac and cheese sprawled under parchment paper with the seafood on top.The seafood overfried and dry.the only good thing was the amount of shrimp. There must be different cooks because the food I tasted before and the food i received didnt taste the same. The next day I was still brooding over the $42, checked my bank statement and seen $45 (and change) taken out. SMH!! Never again will i go back for over priced, under seasoned food. I will not even go into how shabby it is inside. Not worth it at all!

This is the 10th ordering from them and this time I am disappointed. I shouldnthave to stand over the server to make sure my order is correct when I get home. I asked for gravy on the rice and it wasnt there on any of the 3 orders totalling $40. I asked fro BBQ chicken wings and got fried chicken wings with bbq sauce. The rice and beans tasted bottom of the pot this time. The food is usually outstanding but this Sunday it was off. Your entitled to a bad day. Ill give you one more chance if no improvement I will discontinue my loxal support.

Soul food at its best.... fish is fried fresh to order and yams are nice and sweet. What more can I ask for from Staten Island. Reasonable prices are always a plus. Thank You!!
