The company that I work for, Mosaik Solutions, recently hosted our Christmas party at Tanoor Grill. We chose Tanoor Grill because of the quality of the food and also because the owner seemed like he would be very accommodating – both are true and we couldn’t have had a better time! Because we had a fairly large group (about 50 or so people), the management decided they would basically close the restaurant down to the public about 30 minutes before our party was to begin, assuring that none of our reserved tables were taken. That was much appreciated. They were fully staffed and prepared to handle our group, and so we never had a moment where we needed refills and they were unavailable, or waiting on a certain meat to make its way around, or in need of anything else. They were attentive and friendly from start to finish. We had someone playing live music on a keyboard with a sound system that we brought, and one of the waiters was even kind enough to help assist in breaking that down and loading it back up into the car. Tanoor Grill provides high quality food, service, and atmosphere, and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Everything was great. The food was excellent, the service was on point, the atmosphere was excellent. When we came in we were seated immediately. The server came over and introduced herself. She explained how the process worked and walked us through how the food was served. There was a buffet with vegetables and starches and such. The meat was served by groucho type servers. They came around to the table offering different meats. The meat was well cooked and served the way it should be. The food was flavorful, the owner came around at one point and asked us how our meal was. I cant say enough good about this place. Its a little pricy for lunch, but well worth the money. Its not as expensive as Texas De Brazil. The value for the money was good.

All. You. Can. Eat. Meat. The kind that is so well seasoned you dont need sauce. The kind that is so tender that even I, with my bad teeth can eat it with no problems. Their motto is "We feed you until you beg us to stop", and they are talking about meat. Pros: High quality delicious Middle Eastern food, from the mint tea and salad bar to the well-seasoned meats. Everything is all you can eat. Cons: Price. You get what you pay for, and you definitely pay for what you get. Expect prices in the $15 range for lunch to the mid-$30s for dinner. The staff was slow to refill drinks only. Tip: Try the lunch first, to see if you like the style of food, before you make the investment in dinner.

Good thing Im just visiting memphis because I am not impressed. Hostess asked if we had reservations and we did not. Though there were about 9 open empty tables. She called another waiter ajd he seated us. A few minutes later she came to our table and had a stare on her face as if we do not have a clue. I told her Ive never been here and then she said its a buffet. Some of the food is ok. The meat is good if they come with it or if they give you more than one piece. The rice was old and dry as if they kept yesterdays rice or that rice that remained from lunch. It took them 15 minutes to bring more hummus and 30 minutes later no rice. Disappointing!!!!!!

Great food and usually good, kind, friendly service. Asked for something to go, NOT a to go box. Got a no. So I asked another server again. The first server that said no overheard and RUDELY came and said "We DO NOT allow to go boxes, if you want to take your food finish eating it here" and I told him Im not asking about the food on my plate but another order and I still got VERY RUDELY told NO! But when another server overheard he said yes. I LOVE this place , but after this unfortunately visit I will NOT be returning again.

Hands down the best Mediterranean food across the states. Definitely worth the trip to come out here and eat again. I have ate Mediterranean food in California, Texas, Arizona, Arkansas and here in Memphis TN and I give this place 10 stars. When the food is delicious and the service exceptional you dont have time to pay attention to the price you are paying for your food not that they dont have great price for the amount of food you get

Giving 2 stars because 1) we had a rude waitress that was barely checking up on us 2) salad bar wasnt that fresh and everything was almost empty 3) water tastes like chlorine 4) tables are too close to each other (heard someone fart next to me). All in all, this is the cheaper version of Texas de Brazil, so pay $20 more and enjoy the far superior food and atmosphere... Never again.

I come home from college and the first place I think of, before my family, is here. The cuts are always so fresh and the salad bar compliments it well. Everytime I come here, gluttony is all I do, but I dont feel bad about it because of the wonderful price, basically a steal. This is easilly my favorite dining establishment in the 901.

We tried Tannoor for lunch, which offered four meats (beef kafta, beef sirloin, curry chicken breast cubes, and grilled seasoned chicken legs) and grilled pineapple. All were good, but the chicken leg and pineapple were by far the favorites. They also have a buffet of ~30 items ranging from salads & hummus to soups other hot dishes.

This place is AMAZING!!! I brought my wife here for Valentines Day and have not looked back since. From the lamb to steak to the several different types of salads, you will be amazed by the taste explosion your palate will receive. Come hungry leave needing a nap. Enjoy!!!! Ask for the 3 juice medley as beverage and be refreshed.

We had a birthday dinner at Tannoor Grill today! this restaurant is one of the best in Memphis, huge variety of salad, vegetables, amazingly tasty and healthy, with a delicious tender and seasoned meat !! The staff was so professional, very attentive and lovely. Five stars well deserved!! Looking forward for my next visit!

An absolutely wonderful cant-stop-eating-even-though-Im-stuffed meal! LOVED the ginger sage tea and the meats were so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Their hummus and baba ganoush are out of bounds! And the grilled pineapple? Save room for it because youre going to want more than just one slice! Service was excellent!!

We have been several times back when it was FULL service... I did not mind paying that HIGH price for it.... But now they want you to serve yourself, they do not come around as much with the meat, and still want to charge that obscene price. Would be better off going to Zam Zams.

What is there not to like about Tannoor?? Everything is delicious. I was resistant to the new buffet part at first but now I love it. All the new items on the buffet are amazing. The service & food have always on point every time weve eaten here. Highy recommend to everyone!!

By far one of the best Mediterranean place. Friendly and polite service. Salad bar was huge and had so many options. All you can eat meats cooked to perfection cant go wrong with that. Grilled pineapple was Delicious. If you are in the area a must place to try.
