Ordered a 12" Pepperoni and Onion with garlic crust. The pizza was acceptable. Much greasier and waterier than I expected compared to a pepperoni and onion pizza at other local restaurants. Really was expecting something much better for the roughly $22 dollars that it cost. The serving tray has these little bumps on it that make it next to impossible to properly use a fork or spatula to get a slice of pizza off of the tray. Like seriously, we spent the entire meal complaining to each other about the tray bumps. It was really that frustrating that it became the focal point of the meal. Their menu said (forgive me if I recall incorrectly....) 2.75 for a Pepsi, which to begin with is much more expensive than other places near by, but they then charged 2.79. Again, if I remember incorrectly what the menu said then I apologize, and it might sound petty to quibble over $0.04, but I personally think its the little things like that shed light on a companies ethics. Not to mention the glasses they brought out were the same size as a free water glass that youd get almost anywhere else. Give me a bigger glass for that price! You offer free refills! Long story short: Its certainly not disgusting, just not very good for the cost. Go somewhere better. Papas on Schmitt, or Salernos on south Weber a few "blocks" from the i55 interchange. Both much better quality hands down, with Salernos being half the price the nearly double the food.

My boyfriend and I dined in and order a 14inch sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, Canadian bacon. When we ate it, it did not taste as good as we imagined. John our server asked us if we like our pizza and we explained how we didnt like it due to the toppings were crunchy and not fully cooked like we liked it. Nelson the manager I believe let us know that we had too many toppings and thats probably why it didnt taste the why we hoped so he made us a whole new pizza which was pepperoni and sausage and it was great. I give 5 stars because he took his time to make sure before we left that we were satisfied customers and I appreciate John and Nelson for that.

Visiting from Colorado. Read reviews and thought we could get some Chicago type pizza. Apparently not. They had a buffet, which I thought would be a great way to sample different Chicago type pizzas. NOT. By the time the pizza was put on the buffet line, the vultures attacked it. Not there fault, the company was so slow to keep the buffet loaded with good. You could have are the age old Alfredo pasta on the buffet. I would definitely recommend more research on finding that Chicago flair. I would not recommend this, especially since the sauce seems so Chef Boy Ardee. U am writing this as I am waiting for my first slice of pizza. 20 minutes so far.

Yum! If you want some good Chicago hometown (besides deep dish) pizza come to HomeRun inn!! Love the thin crust and (square style) cutting on a (round) pizza! Service is usually pretty decent but tonight our waiter was amazing! He was always right there when we needed him and most definitely went above and beyond! I ordered the chicken Alfredo tonight because I was craving pasta, I DO NOT recommend the pasta, but thats ok...who comes to HomeRun inn for pasta anyways? And finally, my side Caesar salad was AMAZING! HomeRun inn is a must go if youre visiting the Chicago area...and if you live here obviously!

Love this place so much! They have great service and provide great value. I love the Friday and Saturday buffet, and they just introduced the lunch meal deal from Monday through Thursday with gives you all you can eat pizza, soup, and salad for 9.99, very good value for the price. They also just put flat screens around the entire dining area which really gives the place a special touch during sporting events which go great with Chicago pizza. I have always loved Home Runn Inns iconic pizza that we Chicagoans (now suburbanites) have grown to love when it came to family dining and Chicago pizza.

Google Maps showed that the hour we visited, it would be a light crowd at this location. It wasnt at all; quite busy (graduation crowd), but the staff had it covered which revealed how prepared they were. The dining area was redone sine I last visited with over Six large LEDTVs placed to where your head doesnt move far, just look forward. Hey, they even bring a single glass of water on a tray. The bar area is awesome for a pizza establishment. Theres an Outdoor eating area as well. Impressive place.

I was there with a group some time ago. We made reservations in advance and called that day to remind them.. When we arrived most of the food was gone and we had to wait while they replenished it. Service was bad which surprised us. Things may have improved but I will not go back to find out. There are other restaurants which serve good pizza. When we complained to management, they seemed disinterested.

This is my favorite pizza restaurant. I usually have a pepperoni pizza and my wife usually has plumb tomatoes and spinach on hers. They greet you at the door and take care of you immediately (we are early dinner people, so you may have to wait a little on the weekends.) The soft drinks are free refills and they have Pepsi (what I like) instead of Coke. The servers at fast and courteous.

From service to food & the beer selection on tap is great. Our party of 16 was accommodated very well. Cheesy garlic bread & their signature pizzas highly recommended. Overall this particular location/Pizzeria is Family friendly, big crowd friendly & well priced Pizzeria.

I ordered a large extra cheese pizza but the pizza sauce tasted slightly like ketchup. Ive had Home Run Inn before from another location, I have no clue how their guys botched up a pizza this bad. On top of that I paid $20 for this pizza....such a shame.

Got up to use the rest room and had yet to receive my food they bussed the table and when I asked to speak to the manager she said sorry the bus boy did his job, rude condescending staff. Dont get out of your seat.

I would have given 5 stars, but they were out of the Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier. Gary is a great bartender. Excellent pizza as always. Didnt like the "Buckle Down" ipa. The Grimbergen "Dubbel" was good.

Thin crust, scalding hot, overpriced pizza. We came here after driving around looking for a Lou Malnatis. My mistake for assuming it was a Chicago-style pizza joint. Ill stick to Lous from here out.
