Have always ordered their 5 star Kai Yang (chicken BBQ dinner) and have always enjoyed it, so inviting as it lay on top of the shrimp rice. A friend suggested I try the beef sate,so i did -- and now i am hooked. Its so delicious and tasty! And i will not forgive myself if i fail to mention their super quench thirsting THAI ICED TEA-- a must! Hmmm…since Im on a food binge..decided to try their Phad Thai (though i never really liked flat noodles since it reminds me of flatworms in the Science room). With great trepidation i took a big gulp and…...OMG!! Their Phad Thai noodles are so soft and tastes so good! Never expected it to slide so smoothly in my palate! But then..I dont have a comparison yet ,so i will reserve another review for their noodles.. after i tasted Natalees version.

I have a friend that swears only certain Thai Original BBQ restaurants are good but Ive been to three now and to me they have all been the same food quality wise. The food is pretty decent. Their panang curry isnt quite as bright and light as other places but still decent. Their BBQ Chicken with sweet and spicy sauce is still probably key. They have issues at this particular location in that they cant seem to get food out together. I hate nothing more then eating with someone, getting my food 5-10 minutes before they do, and then the conversation turns into - Just go ahead and eat! until their food comes. I also have a massive issue with the hair in my rice the last time I went...

I love Thai BBQ (other locations anyway)--but good luck trying to reach this one on the phone to place your order! I called 5 times in 10 minutes with NO answer. I even doubled-checked by calling inside the restaurant...and yes, I heard the ring! If their food is not up to par with other locations, I will be back to post.... And heres the irony: If they had just picked up in the 1st place, I wouldnt have had all this time (while I wait for my order) to bag on them!!

The hostess completely ignored us for the better part of 10min before we just seated ourselves....yet others of asian decent were attended to promptly. The dumplings were served cold and were sent back. The soup and fried rice was good. Because of the service, or better put lack therof, I would not visit again....for a much better thai experience I go to Ochas thai in west la.

Ive come here several times, and I keep going back. The value is good and the environment is quiet, so you can have both intimate time, or business discussions easily. The curry dishes are very good, and the Thai Iced Tea is very well balanced. They have a card limitation of a $10 minimum that I find annoying, but otherwise I love this place. --Edited for grammar--

I really enjoy the Thai BBQ at this restaurant. I especially prefer the BBQ ribs over the chicken. The fried rice is loaded with shrimp, and the portions are pretty substantial. However, the restaurant has some quality control issues as there has been at least one time when the fried rice tasted kind of old and dry.

My friend and I shared two lunch specials. Pad Thai Chicken and Sate Beef. Both meals were great but the salad was really lacking as it was a small serving of lettuce (as in a few leaves) and dressing drizzled on it. Other than that, the service was fast and courteous.

This is a great restaurant, but the interior is a bit run-down. I like to order the Shrimp Tom Yum soup when coming here. It comes in a giant metal bowl with a fire underneath. Its definitely an acceptable alternative to their competitor across the street.

We order here pretty frequently. The special #1 and #2 are good options when you need something quickly. Thai tea is good here as well.
