Tucked in a string of shops near Washington and Lincoln, I had always seen this spot from the outside but figured that good Korean BBQ should be had in Koreatown. I was wrong. This place is clean, healthy and delicious. We had 5 people (4 men) at our table and ordered 2 combo sets + 1 plate of 8oz and we all stuffed. We added the mushroom family set for $10.50 The combos do come with seasonal vegetables to grill. Table Etiquette - rub the onion and other vegetables over the hot grill before grilling meat to keep the meat from sticking. Ask to have your heat cranked up if your meat is taking too long to cook. Ask for Gochujang if you want extra spicy sauce on the house. Their Calbi (thin pieces of boneless short rib) was fantastic. I also recommend their Brisket Pork Belly and Spicy Outskirt. Each person got their own Oil/Salt, ponzu-soy dipping sauces. Fresh salad was served along with the following side items: - Potato Salad (sweet and cold) - Spinach Salad - Broccoli - Kimchi - Bean Sprouts - Fish Cake - resembles slices of tofu - Asparagus with Heart of Palm

Located in a non-descript strip mall in Marina Del Rey. Surprising good food. My family had the Korean BBQ which they devoured. I tried the "Meiji Soon Tofu Chigae" soup, made from fresh organic tofu. It was excellent, probably one of the best tofu soups I have had. The service was quite good considering that when we walked in, the restaurant was empty but filled up in about 5 minutes. Everybody came in at the same time. The decor was basic but easy on the eyes. The ventilation system is excellent for a Korean BBQ. It was the first Korean BBQ where we left without smelling like the food.

I use to live right on Sta Rosa Street. This Korean place finally opened... I am impressed. Met the owner Ina, her staff in the kitchen is her Mom and brother. The restaurant is family business, she has another place at International restaurant on Kearney. The food is very authentic and "good". We order the hangover soup, the sizing pork belly, garlic friend chicken, asparagus and mushrooms.

Not much to say that hasnt already been said. The food is good plus I really like how they have a lunch menu. I came by for lunch over the weekend and ordered the seafood bibimbop. So good! I burned my fingers a couple times from the bowl though so be careful of that! It stays hot the entire time.

Best Korean Hashim bap ever! I always get it with black rice just because i love the nutty taste plus its healthier than white rice. Try the Spicy Pork bitmap it is so darn yummy in my tummy. Huge portions, reasonable pricing in a super cute casual anthropologist-esque environment.

The staff was pushy when trying to figure out the menu and all of the over priced selections. It is the last time that I will spend $24 for a piece of fresh side pork that one can buy for less than a dollar. I will never go back to this place that demands a tip from you.

Excellent food and cozy atmosphere. It is so much nicer on the inside than its strip mall exterior may have you thinking. Our only complaint was how warm it was, but I have never known a Korean BBQ place that wasnt warm. Comes with having a grill at ever table I guess.

Wish they took the time to see if we were new to the experience since the place was empty when we got there. Had a little trouble in the beginning figuring out cook times but we got it and the food was amazing! First time having Korean bbq but definitely not the last!

Very good meat quality, decent banchan although I wished they swapped out the grills during the dinner, or at least ensured we didnt do the marinated meat till the end. A little pricey but not bad considering its outside of ktown!

Seriously love this place. Food is nice, waitstaff is nice and they made us feel like "regulars" before we had really come back more than twice. Service suffers somewhat when busy, but its worth it.

If youre a rookie with Asian bbq, go to gyu kaku and theyll show you the ropes. If you know how to cook your own food, this is a GREAT spot to expand your pallet and find new things. Love it!

This place is the bomb, hands down the best all you can eat KBBQ. A little bit more pricey but definitely worth every dollar. Boneless short ribs are bomb.

It was friendly service. Scallops were not explained how to cook. Should not have to go to cook your own food. The people were awesome tho.
