Lines are long and a wait to get your food. I tried to get a table while partner was in line, but was told I could not sit until I got my food. More folks than tables. The patio area is next to the line and people are leaning over your meal and staring at your food. The room is so loud one cant hear across the table. The baby back ribs were less than ordinary as was the sauce. The sides are separate. The collard greens are decent, the onion rings thin and under breaded. The only thing we enjoyed was the lemonade. Holy Cow is not a rib joint, not a fast food place and not a restaurant. It is a novelty and not worth the time.

Lost two stars because the portions were tiny and the prices were ridiculous. This is only fed by the two extra stars lost because of the generally poor flavor and texture of the food. Tri-tip was like eating bark, brisket tasted of chemical and the sides while not awful were nothing worth the price. I added a star because they were friendly, I took one back because they lied. Single most disappointing hot-link in California, so far.

Stopped in to see the menu today I ask if the food was good? An employee pointed to a plaque that read "#1 BBQ in Santa Monica" and said "award winning." lol WTF!? Holy Cow IS LITERALLY THE ONLY BBQ RESTAURANT in Santa Monica. A quick google search pulls up BBQ Gardens, in actuality an Asian Cousin Restaurant, and the next closest BBQ which is Baby Blues in Venice. I suppose a trophy was deserved, a participation trophy.

From the branding to the BBQ sauce, Holy Cow is on point. Do yourself a favor and try the Chocolate Bread Pudding - I kept putting my spoon down only to pick it right back up again and take another bite! They have great local craft beers, which I love. Extra BBQ sauce is right on the table and the staff is super friendly and eager to help. My favorite BBQ spot in LA!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Growing up near Brentwood I had always hoped for a solid BBQ place to open up - HolyCow is a godsend. My favorite is the BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich, but the ribs are incredible too. You get to choose from their home made sauces which bring out the smoky flavor. We started using their delivery service at work too, home run, highly recommended!

YUM! Mouth-watering bbq. My hubby and I got the 3 meat platter w/ brisket, tri tip, and ribs. Fries and mac and cheese for the side. Everything was delicious and it was the perfect amount for both of us. We were already planning our next trip back before we finished our meal! Service and ambiance were great as well. Two thumbs up.

Holy Cow BBQ is a very cool neighborhood spot to grab BBQ. We dont have enough BBQ in LA and its refreshing to have it in a refined and modern atmosphere. Its clean, edgy and the food is really good! My favorite dish there is the tri-tip with some of their smoky BBQ sauce. Will definitely be making this my local spot with friends.

Disgusting. The food seemed good and everything actually tasted great, but low and behold, we r all dying from severe stomach pain the next morning. The ones who ate the tritip are the most effective. Dont go here unless u want to ruin your tomorrow.... Its Mothers Day and all we can do it sit in bed in pain.

Food was a little mushy and lukewarm when we received our order. The flavor was definitely there, just wished it was a bigger portion and served more fresh. I want to try this when it isnt super busy.
