I came here yesterday night, and the atmosphere was amazing. The lighting was neon, but not too gaudy, and still cozy. After sitting down, we were given warm towelettes for our hands. The menu was extensive, and I ordered the yellow curry chicken. Presentation of the dish was great as well. The curry itself was very flavorful and full of generous chicken pieces. The meal ended with artfully sliced oranges. There is a backyard seating option, but last night was rather chilly, so we didnt go for that option. The staff was very attentive and polite. The napkins were also very nice. I came here again for the red curry chicken and it was delicious! Again, the staff was great. I visited this place again for the yellow curry chicken. This time, I ordered the dish with just eggplant as the vegetable, which is what I will be doing from now on (I am not the biggest fan of vegetables). The portions and dining experience are excellent, especially for the price. I love this place and will be coming back again soon. After my fourth time here, I realized that this is one of the only places that I will eat vegetables from. I tried the crispy calamari, and it went well with the Thai chili sauce that it came with. The calamari came on top of a pile of spinach and other leafy vegetables that had 2 dressings on them. As always, the curry chicken was amazing. I came here for Valentines Day at around 9:30 and it was surprisingly pretty empty. Everything was amazing as always. For the holiday, we were given a box of Lindt chocolates as a gift after our meal. It was a nice touch that I didnt expect. Came here yet again, and ask to sit outside during the summer! Its probably less crowded (not that being crowded is really a problem here), and its a nice atmosphere.

Saketumi had a very extensive menu covering dishes from Japan, Malaysia and Thailand. There is surely something that even the pickiest of eaters will find. I ordered from the sushi menu and found that the rolls were made pretty well with the rice and filling ratio. The rolls didnt necessarily blow me away but they were better than your standard sushi takeout spots. Servers were very attentive and friendly. One of the ladies chatted with us for a bit and you can tell her demeanor is what helps to bring many of the regular customers back. This spot is worth giving a try if youre in Brooklyn Heights and cant really figure out what to eat as there are so many options here.

With indoor and outdoor seating Saketumi is easily one of my favorites. Dine in, pick-up or delivery. I have done all three many times and have NEVER had a bad meal. It has always been consistently good and to be honest thats the best thing you can ask for from any restaurant. The employees are amazing, they have always been polite, professional and willing to give a helpful suggestion. Speaking of suggestions...You have to try a KIRIN ROLL!!!

Every time I go there I forget the roll that I love! Its so good. Its not on the menu. It was suggested to us. Ever since my first try I was hooked. But Jenny always remembers who we are and the roll we order. Its clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The presentation is great. They start you with warm towelettes for your hands and at the end they give you fruit complimentary.

Great pan-Asian cuisine. I particularly enjoy the tropical fried rice because it is made with fresh pineapple and served in a pineapple shell. Excellent food and service, reasonable prices, highly recommended.
