I have just read the review dated 6/1/2010 and while I can say restaurant is in fact a hole in the wall next to the Drug Mart and doesnt have much in the way of dining atmosphere, China Express has been making pretty decent Chinese food available to Wadsworth for at least ten years, and Ive yet to have a problem with them. I dont know if the manager is rude or not, because Ive never had an occasion to argue with him, but Ive been treated helpfully both when getting food for take-out and having them deliver to my house. I dont know the story of the 6/1 review and Im sure they feel genuinely aggrieved but having been to this restaurant (or had them deliver) many dozens of times, I still recommend them and just ordered from them tonight. If when they deliver they insult my wife and yell at my dog, I will amend this review accordingly. :-) A few minutes of reading the "TimeTraveler" review reveals that she stopped in for a sit-down meal, which no local that I know would do. Rating it for sit-down service is kind of like rating McDonalds on the quality of their steaks. I didnt even know they had plates. Anyway, she (the reviewer) is from out of town and the three other restaurant reviews that are linked to on that page are all negative as well. Bottom line: decent, reasonably priced, Chinese take-out and delivery. Dont expect much else, and youll be fine.

Im writing this review mainly to correct the one and only other one available. As a frequent China Express patron, I can tell that the sole other reviewer has never visited the restaurant. Nice decorations? No. Forty minute wait? No. Clean? Well... not quite. This place is ultimately nothing more than a hole in the wall next to Drug Mart. Hardly anyone would dine-in there, as the tables are used mainly for a sitting area for those who have placed orders and somewhere for the owners to put random odd things they have for sale (kids clothes, truck parts, etc.). You dont go there for the atmosphere though; you go there for the quality, affordable to-go Chinese food. I have visited them weekly for over eight years now and have NEVER waited longer than ten minutes for my food. It is always good, always hot, and for the other reviewer, always jam packed with plenty of fortune cookies afterwards. If you are looking for a place to dine out with some family or friends stay away, but if you are looking to bring home something other than the other usual fast food and pizza places that clutter Wadsworth, definately give this place a try.

We all had the dinner combos (orange ckn, g.tso ckn, b/less rib, p. Steak), plus a 2 litter soda and an appetizer to boot! The food was hot, savory, to order and perfectly done. Platters are served to meet quantity, not for stuck up people who expect plates. Reminds me of the best places in NY! Reminds me of home! Definitely recommend, and if I return to the area, I will certainly return.

Food good but delivery guy was just rude pulled up to wrong house then never called,waited outside for a few minutes then when I came outside he gave me my order then demanded a tip when I said you charged me $3 delivery fee for a trip less than 1 mile from my home,you get your tip from your employer,but stood there and waited for 5 minutes still for a tip kinda creepy.

Bets food ever. I am a food snob and rarely happy. They give a ton of food for the money and its always delicious. The owners are always kind. I had foot surgery and went in to order ( Middle of winter) When I went back to pick up I saw him run to my car and said no wait here I will bring your food to you. I love it there.

Ordered General Tsos chicken. I got it home, the chicken was overcooked, and tasted like it had been cooked in oil weeks old. The woman at the front counter was nice enough and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. I wont be coming here again though, unfortunately there are better options that are just as close.

Ive been eating here since i was a kid. i love it!!! The food is always hot!! the portions are huge for the price. Kevin (the owner) and his wife are great. yes mistakes get made (theyre human) but they always do whatever they can to fix the problem. I always tell people to order from here!!!

With three kids at home, we always have a huge complicated order (similar dishes with fried rice, white rice, etc). It is VERY easy to mess up or forget something, but always get great food and good service here!
