I dont know if there was a different server for some of the other reviewers but the gentleman that helped my girlfriend and I was absolutely wonderful. He was talkative, which I can see bothering people who arent up for a conversation but he seemed very well-intentioned. His demeanor was one of the reason we have returned several times. In addition to the service, the food is absolutely amazing. If you are a fan of Indian food you will love it. I personally recommend the Chicken Vindaloo to all new diners. If you have a chance be sure to try their lunch buffet! Indian food isnt for everyone but if you like it this is not only one of the few but one of the best that Ive had. I say that having lived in New York City and having eaten at several Indian and Pakastani restaurants. Enjoy!

I have been to this restaurant a total of six times for their lunch buffet. I have come to realize that their quality of food as well as service is very inconsistent. Sometimes it is about average and other times it is poor. Moreover I noticed that almost every time we would end up with upset stomach the day after having food at this joint. I have eaten at various Indian restaurants all over the country over the past years but rarely got sick with such consistency. Last time I was there, I happened to get a peek into their kitchen and was flabbergasted by what I saw, it was plain filthy! Needless to say, I have not returned to this place since then.

One of my favorite restaurants in La Crosse! (I was so excited to finally have an Indian restaurant here!) The lunch buffet is great - nice selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes, a nice opportunity to try new entrees, and reasonably priced. Dinner options are great as well - our favorite dinner is chicken tikka masala and kadai paneer. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is cozy and inviting. I also appreciate this is one of the few south side restaurants which will actually deliver to my north side home! Highly recommend

great food. absolutely horrible service. the portions are huge! enough for 1 dinner to feed 2 people. still with a $60 bill, the server acted as though we were not paying customers. the minute we paid, the server came to the table and said "we are waiting for you to leave" so thinking we were there after they closed we quickly packed up are things. but on the way out we saw the hours on the door say they are opened till 10, and it was 9:40 when they said they were waiting for us... they dont want your business. unfortunate. Carry out or be aware!

Awesome food! Amazing service! Went for my wifes birthday because she wanted to try something new. The staff was so friendly, explained the food, and helped us make suggestions on things to try. Went with a big group, including 3 kids. The food came quickly and was excellent. Even brought out complementary mango cake for the whole group to celebrate my wifes birthday. Would defiantly go to again. HIGHLY recommend!

Hit or miss. Ive eaten here twice; first time was a great experience, the second time was an experience that made me never want to return. Our waiter was not interested in helping us with the menu whatsoever, and the person picking up the dishes was wasted out of her mind, hovering over us. Very uncomfortable experience. Food has always been good however.

The food is really good but unfortunately the Atmosphere makes it impossible for me to spend time in this restaurant. They have 60 watt flood lights above every table that cause an instant migraine to people who are sensitive to light. Combined with the dubstep music its hellish. Take out is a good option if you can get an employee to pay attention to you.

The first time my girlfriend and I went to New Taste of India we had never had authentic Indian cuisine before. Our server was amazing at making recommendations to suit our liking and our meals were simply put amazing! Cannot say it enough, if you have never had authentic Indian food before or even if you have this place is 5 stars in my opinion!

Dont let the strip mall location deter you. This is some of the best Indian food I have had in the United States. I came for the lunch buffet, which was a steal for $10. They had a good variety of Indian food with plenty of vegetarian options. Everything was delicious - I especially recommend the paneer tikka masala. I will definitely be back.

My favorite food in La Crosse by far and one of the better Indian places Ive been to around the country. This restaurant could compete with some of the much more foody places like big cities. Always friendly service and an outstanding menu. The lunch buffet is an even better deal, always a great variety of dishes.

If you are within a 2 hour radius of Lacrosse, come to this restaurant. This is hands down the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is beyond incredible, the wait staff is polite, friendly, and professional, and the restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. I will definitely be coming back.

Delicious food but poorly packaged to go! Ended up spilling out on the car ride home and now my truck smells like and Indian restaurant. It was delicious though I highly recommend eating there. The service man was rude but maybe because it was the end of the night. Either way its pretty good!

My favorite place in La Crosse, by far. I have brought many people here because its too hard to describe how good everything tastes and how amazing the staff is to their guests. Ive brought family, friends and everyone I could and not one person was disappointed. Amazing food!

We stopped in here on our way home from camping and for my husbands birthday. Since it was our first time there we took our servers advice and ordered the four dishes he recommended. They were delectable. We loved everything. We highly recommend.

Great lunch buffets & excellent price. Available during the week & on the weekend! Garlic Naan is a must try amongst many of the other dishes! Dinners that we have also had here have been enough food for takeout & also of course dinner too.

Authentic Indian cuisine. Great service, I love how the describe the foods at the buffet to visitors that had never had this style of food. If very much reminds me of a restaurant I frequented in Nashville. I will be there many more times.
