Was told 15 mins on a to go order.. Lol 40 mins later Im still sitting up front during buffet hours while everyone is being directed to the back to eat. Hell i should have dined in if i knew the service was going to be this long, do keep in mind I was late back to work and no one updated me on how much longer the food would take. I ordered aloo gobi all veggies they dont take long to cook. A couple came in with me at the same time, dined in and left while i was still waiting on my to go order. Unacceptable, lack of communication equals poor service. Im highly upset that you wasted my time. I CANT GET THAT BACK! Update same day And the food was bland and one of your fellow Indians cursed you out for how bland the food was and said thats how damages to your wall occured when you first enter the establishment was because of any upset customer lol. That was the only thing that made my day.

I can only rate the weekday lunch buffet. My friend who loves Indian food always wants to eat here. Ive been on 4 separate occasions and generally only 1 person working the floor so if more than one table comes in, the attentiveness goes down and if 3-4 tables come in, youll see even less. Im no expert on Indian food so I cant rate it against others, the food on the buffet on the 4 times I went was luke warm and the items that were deep fried tended to be more on the soggy side than crispy. Perhaps the menu items would be better but Im not schooled enough to know what Id actually want, which is why I play it safe and try the buffet

Kind of hard to get to; in a small strip mall; easy to miss the entry off Veterans. The interior is dark and the decor resembles a Bombay train station or perhaps the French Quarter. Service is attentive; lunch crowd started to fill up the place as I was finishing. I had a little bit of everything at the buffet; not sure what all I was eating; mostly rice, curry and chicken. The Naan was very good; the meal was pricey ($13 with tip). I have had much spicier curry in Bermuda and Tokyo but the food, while mildly spicy, was enjoyable; the buffet food could have been a bit hotter or warmer. I will eat there again but order off the menu.

Awful food. Not one item on the buffet was likeable. Most of the customers were American and not Indian- because Indian people have some benchmark for Indian food and they know how sub par the food is while those who have not got any other Indian food to compare it to might think that it is good . Everything was bland, the idlis were hard, the tandoori chicken had no flavor or seasoning in it, the rice kheer had no flavoring either and was almost watery. The naan had not been fermented!!!!!!!! We are sure not going back there. The only saving grace was that the wait staff was attentive and courteous.

The place has great food and service! The food and service has been fantastic every single one of the 10 or so times Ive been there. The only slight drawback is that the food takes about 20 minutes to come out if you order off the menu (because they actually cook the stuff). But they do have a buffet and to go ready if thats your thing. I HIGHLY recommend ordering the Chicken Tikka Masala w/ Garlic bread and an order of mango lassi (especially if you have never eaten Indian food). This is my favorite food place in town.

Take right on Kayne street, else you will have to make a U-turn to get to the restaurant Dinner buffet on Wednesday. The pappadum (bit hot though) and chutneys are complimentary! Entries are tasty, paneer tikka, chilli paneer, saag curry etc. .. they also make chapati style wheat rotis ..and limbu (lemon) sweet sorbet.. dessert options - most are ok except mango kulfi ice-cream which is very tasty however they serve mostly on special occasion. And one of the waiters, north/north-east indian, is great funny guy!

Dont server the same food I got from other Indian places. When I left there was a possum running around. My wife and kids start taking pictures of it. Bout time we got in the car the possum was running to the back of the building. So we tried following it. When we made it to the back. The possum was no were to be found. We looked up the people from the restaurant that was taken food in. All froze in place looking crazy at us. I believe they was feeding us possum!

Writing this review from the restaurant. The management is not service oriented... requested them to replace something instead of rice they said NO. The curry that I have ordered Dhal bhukara is top wrost food I ever taken, not fresh, added lot of butter on top to show it as fresh but it is at least 2,3 days old food. Very disappointed.

The food was great considering the low price. The lamb was a bit overcooked but didnt bother us, besides, the wait staff asked us and all the other guests many times how everything tasted. These folks have a focus on customer service and provide good food at a great price. We drove from Auburn and will do so again. Great place!

Great environment! Great Food! Great, and friendly servers! My first visit that will not be my last. I tried a little of everything on the buffet. My favorite was the bombay broccoli, double yum. The buffet line up changes so ask before you go. I asked on their Facebook page and received an answer in less than 15 minutes.

We had lunch buffet here on our way to Panama City Beach. Pleased with the food taste. Not much of variety menu lunch buffet had to offer. Starter had fries and desert had kheer, but enjoyed the main course. Easy to get off highway and have Indian lunch. Off the table order available. I recommend it.

There were no meat items, only left over sauce. I had one tiny chicken leg, and the rest of the "buffet" I ended up eating lentils and bread. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling sick to my stomach. Typing review as I search for bottle of pepto. Good luck.

If you in Columbus and you like Indian, you hit the requirments to come and enjoy this authentic place. Everything from service and food to prices is just absolutely top noch. Even Atlanta doesnt have Indian cuisine to match this place. Absolutely must try!!!

Came in to Bombay Bay on 3/3/2016 at 2:20 and the server didnt even give me a chance to speak. Place was still pack but she said we are closed. The website says that they close at 3:00. Unbelievable and bad for business! I was just there for pick up order.

Below average food. I was at the restaurant by 9 pm and went for dinner buffet. Few food items were empty after we started our dinner . Owner said that they cant refill it as it close to 9.30. Which they should have formed us when we came in.
