One of my favorite places in Orlando. What started with a small little Cuban place in WP transformed into a hip trendy Cuban cafe on E colonial a couple years ago! They have just about anything you would need - a quick bite, sit down hang out, quick coffee shop, etc. you want it they got it! Their menu changes during the day. They have brunch sandwiches earlier in the day including egg sandwiches on Cuban, empanadas. The highlight though is their lunch and dinner menu anddddd... If you havent had it.... do yourself a favor and get an iced con leche. Life will never be the same. In regards to their food, favorites among my list include the Cuban (extra hot sauce), the chicken platter, potato balls and ground beef empanadas. This place had a nice spot in my heart since undergrad and has never changed. Although I moved to Tampa - I always come back when Im in Orlando.

Today was my last time coming here!!!!! the food is ok but the service is below par and my card information was compromised!! I ordered 45 minutes before arriving and my food was not ready and had to wait a additional 15 minutes just for bread! the location has a old school card reader and they have to process it. Later i receive a alert someone is charging my card 161.00 at publix on orlando ave which is right by this location !when im driving on the opposite side of town where i live. All the workers here look like young college students . They are back there stealing credit card numbers im sure. this is not a coincidence ! you have been warned. this place is a scam in a nice area! check who is working for you or pay them more!!!

I 100% recommend Black Bean Deli for catering! My husband and I hired them for our wedding and everyone loved the food (I mean who doesnt love a good empanada or papa rellena?). The experience working with them as a couple on a budget was fantastic. Mercedes and her team catered (pun intended) our catering plan to fit our needs and our budget. We were able to order as much or as little food as we wanted, we could choose to have servers or not have servers, they offered bartending, they were on time, organized, responsive, and affordable! Seriously. Affordable. And one extra star for them for having plenty of vegetarian options. Our non-meat eating guests were so thrilled to have real food they could eat!

I have been a customer of Black Bean Deli for around 25 years. I no longer live in Orlando, but I have family there and we always make it a point to stop by. Lets face it, the worst I can say about their food is that its great. They appear to be a nice, working success story. They charge a fair price and provide a delicious meal. The only caution I have is, now that there are two stores, if calling in an order for take-out, make sure you are calling the location where you want to pick it up.

I LOVE Black Bean Deli! I miss this place so much. I moved away a couple of years ago but whenever Im back in Orlando, I have to go to BBD. My favorite thing to get is the medianoche sandwich... And the fried yuca. Their empanadas are good too... and their croquettes! Did I already mention that I love this place?? lol This (Winter Park) location is small, not the easiest to get to, and limited on parking. They also have a place on 50.

Amazingly tasting Cubans. Very reasonable pricing too. My gf ordered a meal which included a chicken breast, sweet plantains, salad, yellow rice, and black beans for $8.95. Beverages are over priced. $1.60 for a can of soda :-( Overall a great place to eat but very very limited seating so dont plan on dining in. Great dessert selection as well.

Always friendly, delicious. Love the vegetarian plate and avocado dressing! Awesome yellow rice and black beans, veggie/vegan options (even empanadas and relleños). Not much room to sit, especially if its busy, but perfect to pick up. Highly recommend this location or the one on colonial with more tables/seating!

Service and staff are great, however the food is a bit over priced. The "Cuban" sandwich is more like a really good ham and cheese. A "cuban" traditionally has pulled pork and cured ham. Not so with theirs. Abundant amounts of cured ham overpower what is a meager attempt of including pulled pork in the sandwich.

Great Cuban sandwiches at both this location and the one on Colonial Avenue where Vegas used to be. Good prices but service can be a bit slow especially during the lunch rush. I have not had any problems with using my credit cards but maybe paying by cash will be safer if they do have a problem.

The food is excellent. But need to come up with a system for pick up. I called and placed my order was told it would be ready at 1pm. I waited in line to pay for my purchase expecting it to be ready right after I played. That was not the case I waited 40min before I got my order.

This place is simply amazing. I eat here about 3 times per month. The Spanish Baked Chicken is so moist and flaverful. They have the best empanadas I have ever tried. The rice and beans are excellant. The lunch portions are big. I usually get two meals out of it. So good!

Two locations means I can leave two reviews! Best Cuban food in Orlando! (dont tell my abuela) Ive been a customer for at least 9-10 years because theyre food is so good! And they have a food truck too! I have to stop and get an empanada every time I see it.

Small and not a place to really dine in at. but there is some inside seating and a couple tables outside. But the food is terrific and price good, a combo you dont get much today. Many Docs from FL Hospitals get lunch here. A rare 5 star rating from me

Love this place, food is authentic, fresh and amazing. Definitely recommend to try, staff is always friendly (and attractive, not that it matters but... Lol) I stop by as often as I can and always bring my friends and family from out of town here.

When my family comes to town, they always request to go here at least once during their stay. The Cuban sandwiches are always a hit with us, along with many other Caribbean favorites they offer. I always love the empanadas; reminds me of grandmas!

I love this place, I would only suggest when a customer is ordering coffee always ask if they want sugar in it. Today I got my cafe con leche sweetened and I dont drink sweet coffee. Just great, I paid for a coffee that I wont drink!!!
