My husband and I have been here 4 times since it has opened. Its an AWESOME addition to the neighborhood. Umami flavor perfect Q texture (Taiwanese foodie reference for the perfect "chew"). My husband always gets Zurutto Ramen with a poached egg (extra $ to substitute) while I always get the Truffle Dan Dan. Both are perfectly savory and yet very different flavors. Weve also have (and always start with) the sesame cucumber which is simple but its served with a sprinkling of kosher salt that brings out a beautiful flavor. Very summery fresh. Gyoza are yummy nicely pan fried - not too oily, but a good crips - and so are the roasted pork buns. Their karaage (Japanese fried chicken) is quite tasty and the curry over rice with sliced kaarage is quite comforting after a tough Monday at work. We have lately been ordering the Dassai 50 sake and they properly and generously pour the glass overflowing in a wooden box. Love it. Price points are great for a casual any time of the week dinner. Like I said - perfect for the neighborhood. The only regret and wish is for them to deliver or even just serve takeout. I know it wouldnt be exactly the same as eating in, but I can imagine in the winter it would be nice to stay in the apt with a lovely bowl of ramen.

Id say this place is more of a 3.5 than a 3. Its nice to get more quaint little restaurants around this area though. Decent ramen, their zurutto ramen is actually quite good...however...the after taste is very strong and WILL stay in your mouth for a while, even a mint doesnt help. Likely because the broth is quite thick and flavorful, they also put onions and scallions in the ramen, so that doesnt help. I enjoyed the noodles during the meal but after was not happy with the aftertaste in my mouth. Their truffle dandan noodle is overwhelming and too truffly for me. They use truffle oil which Im not a fan of since the taste is super strong and too fake. The noodles itself is al dente which is nice so if you like Dan Dan noodles and not a big truffle oil fan, make sure to ask them to not add the truffle oil. Pork Gyoza was average but my favorite appetizer was actually the garlic butter edamame! Get that for sure.

Was very pleased with dinner here. We tried the Shrimp gyoza and the pork buns as appetizers - the gyoza was good, the pork buns were great! The truffle dan dan ramen is very interesting and definitely very tasty, although it is quite spicy. Nice quality mochi for desert. Definitely going back again to try the other ramen! Nice ambiance, good music and kind / pleasant service. So happy to have a great quality Ramen restaurant at 72nd street!

Only $12 for the Zurutto Ramen The ramen is SO GREAT. The meat was done perfectly. The flavor combination was great. The broth is nice and mild, not too salty. i would probably get spicy next time. Service is casual. They only came by once aside from just giving me a menu and then food. My order was ready really quickly and they left me alone to eat until I called them over. I plan on returning. Many times. I loved it.

Good not great. Its a fresh decor tthan most Ramen spots in NYC. Food is pretty standard comparatively as well. Same general ramen menu. Focus on Ramen and small plates. They have three choices for gyoza but they ran out of tofu kind on my night there. Staff seemed like they were still working out service kinks Ive only seen in newly opened places so not sure what was going on.

Zurutto has something no place else I know of has and that is the Soy Milk Ramen this creamy base for soup stock is so good I cant stop thinking about it. I am going tonight. Home made Goyoza round out the fare but for a real treat check out the soy milk pudding with frozen berries on top simple but special My Favorite Rame place. Luffy would love it.

The food was fine. Octopus balls were excellent. I expected more from ramen, but portions were pretty decent. The stuff on the other hand was rude and I had a feeling they wanted to kick us out asap. Tip is included on the bill, so I they dont try at all. There are better ramen places in the city...

Ramen is ok but the five star is for the takoyaki (octopus ball). I am obsessed. I have tried many takoyaki but they got this right. Lightly crunchy outside and super soft inside. Some restaurant makes them soggy. I sometimes go here just to have takoyaki. However, unfortunately they dont deliver.

For my starter I had the fried chicken, which was delicious. For my main, I had the Gyoza, which was a little bit soft for my liking. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the restaurant reminded me of similar restaurants I had been to in Japan, and the restaurant was very clean.

Small restaurant, mellow atmosphere, smooth music. Came here for lunch my friend had the curry rice bowl and it was delicious. I had the spicy Zurutuza ramen, it was ok, nothing compared to Jin Ramen. I wouldnt mind coming back. The fried chicken was also pretty good.

This small restaurant had a cute, modern interior. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Friendly wait-staff! Im not a fan of ramen, which is apparently very good here, but had a terrific spicy tuna rice dish that I will go back for.

Solid ramen restaurant. Pretty good gyoza, very thin wrapper, and a slice of lemon for an interesting extra kick. Not a lot of ramen options, but the house Zurutto ramen plus chili oil was not too salty, quite rich, and very savory.

Great ramen, quick service, fair prices. Zurrutto is a quiet ramen spot that does the job. I had the spicy ramen dish, it was hotv enough for me (an avid spicy dish lover) without overpowering the dish as a whole.

Went for happy hour, tasty fried chicken chicken (karaage) and cold Soporo draft for only $5 followed by decent Uwo Ramen. Friendly wait staff, good lighting, music isnt too loud. Would definitely go again.

Used to love it here. Now they dont care if people have allergies, and they will no longer make any items without a given ingredient or make any changes. Their snooty decision means I will not be back.

The broth and pork chashu are the highlight, and even if the noodles arent fresh/hand made, the ramen was delicious. Id definitely recommend for lunch or for a slightly cheaper dinner option.

Had the truffle Ramen. Weird that it didnt have the broth. I dont really see why it couldnt have the truffle sauce AND broth, but the meal was still delicious and the service was excellent!

Weird that it was chicken broth. The cold ramen special was amazing. In general its a lighter ramen, thick noodles, no gut ache after. The spicy ramen was NOT spicy. Pork buns were ok.

AMAZING ramen, and super tasty spicy tuna appetizer. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because its pricy for ramen, though the portions are nice and big..

I had the spicy version of their signature ramen. It was too salty. However, the place was packed with people so I guess you have to try them out yourself.

The ramen here is excellent of any variety and service as well. Great neighborhood spot for those seeking the comfort of warm food and atmosphere.
