A loud Italian

i love this place!! Come here from time to time ro grab plate with chicken ~11$ (beans, guacamole, salad of tomatoes, rice, u can see the photo) or california fries ~9$ (fries with meat of choice, beans, guacomole), quesadillas with chicken and bean burritos are favorites. Usually all that is very fresh and tasty. from drinks u have frozen pina colada, tamarindo, jarritos, basic beers, water and sodas, nothing fancy. Also there is a choice of salsas. quite big tables so easy to eat with a family or group of friends (4-6 people.l). Parking is easy, right in front of the door like 6 places and behind the building there is huuuge parking so its easy. You can easily get to clean your hands cause the sink is outside the restroom. HOWEVER last time i came fries were dry like overcooked, first time in 2 years of often visits. So i still give it 5* and hope that i was unlucky with fries that visit. Good luck to the business! Im ur fan! Robertos Taco Shop is an old name of place.

Well, I dont know if my review will help because I was there about 5 years ago but I do remember it fondly. I have always wanted to go back. I have no excuse for not going back because I do live in Miami. One day I was driving in Hialeah (something I do rarely) and I happen to notice that where the Robertos Taco Shop used to be is now a Chipotle and I was very disappointed but now that I read the other reviewer Im glad to see that they are still up and running. I will make a stop by there one of these days. As I remember it it was super flavorful and inexpensive. Miami is not the place for mexican food but if you are going to do mexican food in Miami Robertos Taco Shop in Hialeah is the best...not to be confused by Ernestos Taco Shop in Kendall...its not the same...At least I dont think so.

I love this place.. Everything is fresh and tasty. The Carne Asada Nachos are the bomb, the California Fries are great, the Chihuaha Burrito is great, the Taco Salad is awesome, even the chips and salsa are great.. Heh. Ive passed by this place a million times and never gave it a second look, I finally tried it and its my new favorite spot, its fresh simple food with quality ingredients and a great staff.

Pesima comida. La torta tenia mas frijoles que carne..los tacos su tortilla fria y mas grande que la carne que le ponen. Nada que ver el sabor. Primera vez en visitarlos pero no volveria aqui.

Was 5 star til their bad service ruined it. Stood in line for 15 minutes told them I needed to order to go. And for some reason they skipped me and took the order for the guy behind me. All the time both people working the register refused to look at so I could make a order. Never going back. Beware of possible bad service.

I love tacos, and Mexican food in general. We got so much food from here that we couldnt finish everything, but everything we ate was really fresh and tasty. I recommend the appetizer sampler. Its a lot of food and really great for sharing. We also really enjoyed the nachos, carnitas tacos, flautas and guacamole.

Consistent, fast, inexpensive, simple, but most importantly, delicious. Skip their new truck across from the stand and indulge in a plate full of tacos. Quality has become a bit of a concern because of their recent meteoric rise in popularity, but you wont be disappointed.

Amazing and authentic Mexican foot, I come her very often with my husband and our friends.. My only complain: the music they play is not Mexican and I dont think thats right.. please play Mexican food.. I still give you 5 starts because the food makes up for everything

Hit or miss. Sometimes you get the best food and customer service ever and sometimes you get fast food quality food. They do bring your food to you restaurant style. Parking is very limited in the front. however, there is parking in the back of the building.

This is the best burrito East of the Mississippi!!!! Only place that was as good was in San Diego!! I love it, the service is fantastic, the food is wonderful, and the people are super cool. There is no other place in Florida that is a close competitor.

Food is underseasoned. Everything tastes bland. Ive eaten at other Mexican restaurants and generally like Mexican food. So when I saw there was a restaurant in Hialeah I was excited to try them out. I was disappointed. They even forgot my dessert.

Was horrified to see a Chipotle Mexican Grill at Robertos Taco Shop but as I drove down the road sulking, feeling ill, and still hungry, I happened upon their new location a few blocks away. :-) The new name is Taco Shop Mexican Grill.

Food was very good and decent prices. Large quantities. Taco salad with carne asada and no rice by request was exceptional. Have a selection of home made salsas. Will return. Have real plates not plastic ones which I appreciate.

I believe this is the best small privately owned Mexican restaurant in all of Hialeah. All the ingredients used are fresh and the portions for the price are extremely reasonable. Best place to come for authentic mexican

I like this place i feel at home but i hate the prices. The burritos are awesome, i like the nachos but would prefer nacho cheese instead of reg cheese, it doesnt melt well. The horchata is good but pricey!

I LOVE coming to this place. Great food and also great service. They are super nice and friendly which is hard to find in any other restuarants and not to mention the prices are very reasonable.
