I am so glad that my son brought his mother and me a pizza from Pizza Oven after he "discovered it", truly a "Back to the Future" visit. I say "Back to the Future" as our family first frequented the Pizza Oven locations in Wheaton, MD and Silver Spring, MD some forty five years ago. I then introduced Pizza Oven to my children as they grew up. I was unsuccessful in locating any remaining Pizza Oven locations after the Wheaton and Silver Spring locations closed in the 80s and mourned Pizza Ovens passing, So I was doubtful when my son called today to say he had found an authentic Pizza Oven. But upon eating a few bites, I told him he had hit the jackpot. The crust and sauce is exactly what I remember it to be. Memories rushed in. True, it does not taste like pizza from New York or Chicago, as some have said in their reviews. But it shouldnt. Its Pizza Oven pizza, and for that, I am grateful. By the way, my son said the people at Pizza Oven were fantastic--friendly and courteous.

10 Stars!!!!!! Amazing place.....Amazing food.......Amazing atmosphere!!!!! I totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and Love Brian (the owner) and everyone who works there!!!! I have been dining at this place ever since I was in diapers....lol (27 years). I would love to take up a part time job at The Pizza Oven if I did not have a demanding job just to learn the tricks of the trade on making great pizza.....next to Ledos where else in Maryland can you get square pizza.....recomendation for all the foodies try the pot pies or the taco pizza!!!! -sheilapica

Horrible pizza. Grew up in PA near NJ and NY--REAL pizza. Whats with the thin rectangular lousy tasting expensive pizzas around the Balt/DC area? Worse than the chains starting with a D or PJ. Wheres the good pizza? Other food was average. Not a good price or value for poor food. Ill just cook the same things at home for a few bucks and it will taste like my Italian grandma made it herself. Our service was fine. Decor acceptable. We wont be back.

I grew up with a Pizza Oven on Olney, MD, and have always enjoyed this pizza. I recently started going to this place when I travel to DC and am always sure to stop in to try something new on the menu and get half-cooked pizza to go for the family.

I am a long time repeat customer here. The food is delicious and the pizza is so tasty I bet you cant eat just one. The staff is super friendly and the owner Brian is like 100 now and still works every day. Keep up the great job.

Been coming here since I was a kid. By far the best pizza Ive EVER had! I live 30 min away and drive here at least once a week for dinner. My kids only want pizza oven Friday nights..lol

Family friendly. Delicious food and huge variety of foods. Large portions!!!!! Food is made to order. Bean soup is one of my favorites!!!!! SO YUMMY!

Used to love coming here when I was younger. Pizza is delicious and I wish I still lived in the area. Sure beats pizza from a chain restaurant.
