Had my first experience with a Popeyes last week. Cant say I was surprised to get on here and see other poor reviews. I hit up the drive thru and the service was excellent. Thats about where the good stopped. I ended up getting a shrimp and fish meal and wasnt terribly impressed with the amount of food for what I paid. It wasnt too awful, but the last thing on my mind was how good of a deal I just got. My meal was almost twice what Id typically pay for a comparable amount of food at a competing chain. Then, there was the food... The shrimp and fish were about 3/4 batter, and 1/4 what you might call the "meat," though it was so lacking I cant confirm if there was actually any meat under all the breading. The "fish" itself was less than about 1/8" thick, with a 1/4" of batter on each side. It was unreal. Not only that, but the batter was extremely salty, to the point that it was kind of burning my mouth. The fish was definitely more salty than the shrimp, but both were pretty bad. Im not a stranger to salty fast food, but this about took the cake. The mac and cheese wasnt awful, and I actually kind of enjoyed it. It almost had an evaporated milk taste to it, which some people really may not like. It was different. The biscuit wasnt terrible, but wasnt all that great. It was about as salty as the fish though. Couldnt believe how much salt was in this food. Overall, I cant say Id recommend this chain, though Im open to trying some of their other items to hopefully discover that the seafood fare was a one-time fluke. Fingers crossed...

first of all I love how they advertise to "call us" with their phone number all big and bold on this locations website but they dont even pick up the phone. I litterally dialed, put the phone on speaker and let it ring while I finished folding a whole load of laundry and put it all away and still no answer. they didnt even have a line inside or out when I stopped to pick up our familys take out. first, I opened our bag and 2 used dirty napkins were in our bag. second, I ordered pretty basic stuff, 2 orders of the 11 pc. tenders and three large sides-2 mashed potatos and 1mac and cheese, thats it. well I got 3 mashed potatoes. I also got 18 chicken tenders, I know.. I know... yes I counted them. but after the messed up order and dirty/used napkins, I felt like it was a given that they could care less about making sure my 42.00 order was correct. Oh and one last thing, never was given my receipt.. I assumed they would put it in my bag with the rest of my 42.00 order but nope! if Im spending 42.00 on chicken tenders they better be good and every single one should be there. and if your employees cant pick up the telephone AND cant do math(11+11=22), then maybe you should get some new ones... just sayin.

I went through the drive through and was asked to pull foreword to wait. I waited 15 minutes for nuggets that were supposed to take 6. After watching 20 people go through the drive through I went inside where the manager told me it takes 15 minutes to cook nuggets (Which I know better). But I just said okay and waited another 7 minutes for my food. A lady brought it out to me and then told me she didnt forget about me she just had finally gotten the nuggets done but then had sold all of something else and had to cook more. So now the manager turned bright red realizing I knew he was lying and just told me to have a good day. Fast foreword, we got the wrong sides and no sauce. Im usually a pretty easy going person but I was super bugged that they treated me like an idiot and still didnt get my order right after all that. And I did double check my receipt, the order was perfect on the receipt. Just not in the bag. Guess Ill stick with pollo loco!!

This is by far the worst Popeyes. The customer service experience wasnt there at all. We were ordering our food and you could here the manager yelling in the back ground telling us to just stop what we were saying and move forward. When we were at the window we were trying to order our sauces and she the manager started talking over us and didnt get our full list of sauces. When we got home I called and tried to explain the situation to the manager and she started to talk over me and one point started to yell at me. I told her to stop yelling at me and her excuse was she has a very loud voice. I told her that her voice got louder and stop using a cop out. I asked her for her name so I can use it when I contact the district manager and she responded and said she didnt need to give it to me. My family goes to Popeyes up to two times a week for the food. We love it, but this location has lost our business due to one person being a jerk!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS POPEYES. I promise you that you will be disappointed and very angry with their service. The reason why I go there is because my kids like the chicken tenders and its the closest one to my home but each and every time I go they always get something WRONG with my order or tell me theres a wait for chicken that turns into 15-20 min and still the order is wrong when you receive it. One day we went there and ordered an 8 pieced meal dark and of course we had to wait about 10 min for the chicken. We waited in the lobby and I saw them packing the chicken in the box and guess what they were putting in? Yes, chicken breasts and wings. I walked over and told them to read their receipt because it clearly says thighs and drumsticks. The employees there need to be re trained on how to do their job.

I love Popeyes, and thats why Im saddened to give it a one star. Each recent time Ive been there I am continually disappointed. After about 2 months from the last mess up, I decided to give them one last shot tonight. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 combos in the drive-thru. Thats it. Not only did they tell us to pull over to the side to wait (it wasnt busy) but we had the pleasure of watching 3 other cars behind us pay,get their meals, and leave while we were waiting for almost 15 minutes parked. Now I can understand if I ordered something big or crazy why it would take that long, but we didnt. When they finally came out, not only did they forget one of our sides, but also forgot straws and all of the sauces we asked for. Youve lost my business Popeyes.. And it really sucks, because I loved your chicken.

Franchise owner is major Jerk. This Popeyes restaurant will not honor any of the weekly specials as advertised on television. Each of the 4 times we have gone to the Popeyes at Jordan Landing in West Jordan, UT they are either "out" of the weekly special or they say "sorry, that special ended today" and then they steer you to a much more outrageously price entre. The same $3.99 ad special was even playing on the in-store television when we were there, and they still claimed the special had ended. Funny because I saw the same ad on TV 3 days later. If you dont want to honor the national promotions Popeyes is running, just say so. You dont have to lie about it every time someone comes in to order it. Im done with you guys.........
