My family and I have been coming to Sol Azteca for 6 years. Our average bill is around $100 and we have always loved their food (especially the pork masitas), but tonight our waiter was the rudest server we have experienced in recent history. No greetings or pleasantries, tried to substitute beef for cheese on the kids taco and he said that was not possible (even though we have been doing this for 6 years), surly attitute with eye rolling as he delivered food, no check-in and no refreshment refills. When we spoke with him and the "manager" we were told "Sorry you feel this way." We will not be going back.

Yes, this place is family friendly and there are large portions, but dont be fooled into believing that this is a five star Google rated restaurant. The quality of the cheese enchilada that we had was average/adequate. The meal was pretty pricey relative to what we ate. Again, family friendly, if we eventually end up living in Olney like we thought we were going to we would probably eat at this place every now and then, but by no means is this a destination site.

Consistently good quality & service for over 10 years now, I figure. Try their "no sugar" margarita. Happily, its got no artificial sweetener, either. A bit tart, but a nice, clean flavor, too. Dont let me coerce you here, but when youre ready to step away from the kiddie drinks, I think youll be satisfied. I wish I could comment on their menu, but Im addicted to their masitas de puerco & cant comment on much else.

Excellent food and usually good service. We are regular customers but notice they forget this when they get really busy. We made a reservation for Valentines Day and things got chaotic. Even talking to our usually amiable manager got us an exasperated hand-off when our order was a mess. However, it is still a wonderful place to eat and drink 99% of the time.

Every single time I dine at Sol Azteca, the service is excellent. food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I have never had a dish that wasnt superbly prepared, served at the right temperature, etc. These folks really got this down to a science. A friend and I came in last night and they had failed to tell us that they were closing. The waitress disappeared and the rest of the employees as well as her were very rude. Never came back to take our food order. Worst service Ive ever received in a restaurant.

Normally excellent service, however tonight the hostess came to the table and asked myself and my guest to leave our table as they needed it for another reservation. This request was inappropriate and rude. Not a good look for this restaurant.

This is our familys favorite Olney restaurant. Love EVERYTHING here!! The staff know us and its got that neighborhood feel! Were big on the beef fajitas and Pollo Soltado, but our grown kids also love quesadillos, margaritas, and more!

Im a regular and its my favorite restaurant in Olney. All of their food is great and anything on the house specials is incredible. I wish their chef could give me lessons! Prices are reasonable. Id give it 6 stars!
